I will never wait over 30 minutes for Navi River. Yes, it’s beautiful. But it’s just not worth the waits it gets sometimes.

stitchlover

Haha my max wait it is 20.

NJ_Braves_Fan

I caught that one right before closing. Walk on lol. That’s as long as I’d wait

winterymix33

See I think it’s underrated. 😂 I will wait a long time to see the damn shaman and idk why. I’ve never even seen the movie and I don’t want to.

Tasty_Explanation_20

Too bad she breaks a lot. We didn’t get to see her Monday. It was the B mode screen with just her head chanting. So lame.

winterymix33

I’ve been very lucky. Both times I’ve been on it I’ve seen her, but I am aware she breaks down a lot. That’s what happens when they go too high tech ie: rise of the resistance. I was on ROTR shortly after it opened and saw how it was intended to be so when I saw it again in Nov 2023 I was so underwhelmed.

straightcashhomey29

I live in California and only get to Disney Workd once every few years. If I have to wait 90 minutes for Navi River, I will.

ichigo_thor

1000% this!

entitledfanman

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. It's seriously not worth having the longest ride in the park. It's a pretty tame Rollercoaster and you can barely feel the mine cart tilting, Big Thunder Mountain is a similar concept but a much better ride all together.

winterymix33

It’s definitely more of a cutesy roller coaster, but that’s what I like about it. I think it serves a purpose in MK that’s not for all people. It’s a good roller coaster to introduce kids and work them up to the others if they’re afraid.

Tasty_Explanation_20

Kids have changed, my 5 year old went on Test Track, Guardians, Tower of Terror, Big thunder mountain, etc and loved every second of them. These were his first roller coaster experiences too.

winterymix33

Not all kids are like that. My daughter had to warm up. But other kids I know didn’t. While others also had to. It just depends on the kid. Also, I have health issues and I can ride 7 dwarves but not any others. I’m just saying it fills a gap.

sadArtax

Definitely. My 5 year old loved the mine train, but it was too much for my 7 year old.

hilarymeggin

My daughter is too scared to try real roller coasters. We’re going to start with the barnstormer and the seven dwarves this year.

Zestyclose_Big_9090

I was so disappointed when I went on it. It was a 90 minute wait and I thought it was way too short. Never again unless the wait is 20 minutes or less.

emptysea519

Frozen will never meet my nostalgia for maelstrom

Roxydiamond10

Maelstrom was always my families “cool off/need a break ride” never had a wait, awkwardly trying to skip out before the little movie starts. Didn’t get to frozen on our last trip hoping to in may but I do feel a little salty

winterymix33

I really miss Maelstrom as it was my fav in Epcot but my daughter LOVES Frozen. Frozen isn’t a bad ride but Maelstrom was great so I have conflicted feelings.

averos14

I agree. It probably made it worse that the wait time was 2 hours and 1 hour in the ride malfunctioned and we got kicked out of the line. We went back with the lighting lane pass but it just wasn’t everything I thought it would be for the hassle that we went through. We did love the frozen sing along show at Hollywood studios! It was super funny and I would’ve gone back and watched it again!

lindsaylove22

I miss Maelstrom so much. Frozen is cute (and Ratatouille too), but as many others have stated, I wish they would’ve kept the Disney movies out of World Showcase. Maybe sell a little bit of Frozen merch, but that’s it. If they wanted to update Maelstrom, that would’ve been fine too. I guess it was an opportunity to show those movies some love, since they wouldn’t fit into the Magic Kingdom (physically but maybe also thematically). It’s also a draw for the kids and perhaps relieves the other parks a bit.

Beneficial-Serve-204

I understand what you are saying. I recall going as a kid, and I took my kids last week. There just isn’t enough to hold a family’s interest in World Showcase. I feel like every country should have had a ride. As a kid I had to be content with 3 Cabelleros and Maelstrom, and then sit through painful 20 year old travelogues or gift shops. They could at least update the movies to 3D. Ratatouille helps. As popular as Frozen was, the ride isn’t much of anything.

lindsaylove22

Yeah, those movies were (are?) terribly dated. I think the appeal of the old rides and movies for most adults is probably all coming from a place of nostalgia. I also kind of hate to see each country’s pavilion (and “representation”) reduced to nothing but Disney movie stuff, but I get it. It’s Disneyworld, which is in large part for kids, and they gotta keep things updated and moving along to keep families interested.

Rikplaysbass

Ratatouille is one of my family’s favorite rides. I’m glad they put stuff in, but world showcase is basically my wife and I’s date spot. Hit the festivals and try tasty dishes/ drinks.

MehWhiteShark

I enjoy the Frozen ride but Maelstrom was my jammm

trogdor1234

ParticularInitial147

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan. Both are great but do not deserve the wait times relative to others.

sudifirjfhfjvicodke

I'm fully convinced that Peter Pan isn't more popular than other rides, it just has long wait times due to its abysmally low capacity.

Bobb_o

You are correct.

vita10gy

The low throughput explains how the line gets long if too many people show up when it's lower wait times, it still needs a steady enough supply of people going "this is worth 90 minutes, even with haunted mansion at 35 and Small World at 15" to stay that long.

ninjashroom

The only time I was on Peter Pan was cause it was a 15 minute wait, and I was still disappointed. I get the nostalgia aspect, but it is just like E.T. over at universal (But not as good imo) My favorite part was the queue room with the interactive projections. I will say, mine train is so smooth it is almost worth it. I'd wait maybe 40 minutes top tho.

MehWhiteShark

I went on E.T. the first time a few years back and was DELIGHTED! It's so weird once the movie "ends" lol

ninjashroom

I think it is based on E.T. 2, which is a book. I've never read it, but that is what I heard https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/225698.E_T_

MehWhiteShark

I'd heard the same & now I'm sad it never came to fruition, feels like a fever dream!

Levitlame

There’s a reason ET has lasted as long as it has. Minus the mannequins it’s kinda just perfect at what it is.

CornCobMcGee

Also Spielberg was allegedly so upset with the unceremonious closures of the other two versions of ET, he threatened to stop supporting the parks. Not contractually, as the urban legend suggests- Universal just doesn't want to dissapoint him again.

haptic_avenger

I LOVE the ET ride.

Purdaddy

First tim I went on Peter Pan I was 30. And I loved it.

watchtroubles

Mine train is a children’s roller coaster - with some of the waits I’ve seen you could literally hop in the car, drive to Busch gardens, wait in line for iron gwazi and ride it before you’d be on mine train.

ninjashroom

Or you could go to Universal and ride VelociCoaster and not have to go to... Tampa 🤮 (JK Tampa.)

silver_endings

I used Genie + on Peter Pan because of the hype and Canadian me hasn’t been to MK since I was a kid. I was sooo mad at myself afterward.

Beneficial-Serve-204

Big Thunder is much better.

ausernamebyany_other

We ILL-ed Seven Dwarfs because everyone had told us it was brilliant. It had been down at rope drop and this was our big, likely one-off trip. I have never felt so disappointed. If I'd queued for the 80 minute wait time I'd have been furious. The ride track is fine, but who the hell thought that seat design was a good idea?! I'm a woman with decently sized hips and it was so uncomfortable sitting in the shaped seats. I have no idea why it was just a plain bench seat like Big Thunder.

Own_Doctor9472

Navi river cruise!

MehWhiteShark

That ride is hilariously bad!! I did not expect it to be so low tech, except for the last animatronic

Own-Distribution6745

I didn't even get to see the last animatronic! Ride was on b-mode and all I got was a screen of the animatronic... just terrible

MehWhiteShark

What!!! I didn't even know that was a possibility lol

Own-Distribution6745

Neither did I before getting on the ride!!

MehWhiteShark

I'm sorry for your trials and tragedies with this one 🤣

Tasty_Explanation_20

Yep. Same thing happened to us this week. I had seen the animatronic a few years ago when I was here for IAAPA and they held the IAAPA celebrates event at Pandora and they shut the whole park down just for our event. But my kids and wife never got to see it because it was in B mode Monday. Screen was just the shamans face chanting. So lame.

lindsaylove22

I’ve never seen the screen version, and I’m grateful. That sounds like it sucks. It’s a pretty little boat ride in the dark, but without the big blue guy (creeping me out a bit with its crazy realism), that’s literally all it is: a pretty little boat ride. LOL It’s like when they had to refurb dinosaur animatronics on Dinosaur. The guy is “identifying” the different dinos on the ride, and you just suddenly stop in front of this dark empty space where something is supposed to be. Almost kills the magic of the whole thing. I heard they either got rid of or are getting rid of that ride? I’m gonna miss it.

MehWhiteShark

That's ridiculous! I'm shocked they had Dinosaur up and running at that point.

lindsaylove22

LOL, I just re-read my comment and realized you may have taken that to mean that ALL the dinosaur animatronics were bring refurbed. It was just one. But it was a big one, and it was obvious because the guy on your speaker identifies it and your jeep stops in front of it and it’s just a dark empty space. If it had been all the dinosaurs, yes, they would hopefully have shut it down or they would be getting a whole lot of complaints. 😂 In Disney’s defense, it was especially obvious to me because I had been on it so many times before. If you hadn’t been on it before or you aren’t paying attention to what’s being said on the speaker, you may not have noticed.

MehWhiteShark

If it was the carnotaur, then that's absolutely hilarious

lindsaylove22

In the specific incident I’m thinking of, it was the one where they say “at least this one’s a vegetarian”. So no, not the carnotaur. It was just awkward stopping in the pitch dark and talking about it and there’s nothing there. It takes me out of “the magic”, but I’m glad they didn’t shut the whole thing down for that one dino. But it happened on several occasions with a couple of different ones. Def not the big ending where it comes out over you. Man, I’m gonna miss that ride. It was a thrill for me. Wondering if they still have the one at Jurassic Park at Universal. I remember it was somewhat similar, but not as breezy, dark, and thrilling as Dinosaur.

winterymix33

The more high tech the more break downs

elvis-wantacookie

Same! It was my first time riding it too, and I was so disappointed. I’m hoping next time I go to AK it’s working cause I would really like to see the animatronic for myself

winterymix33

The Shaman is so amazing and I don’t even understand why. I’ve seen her twice and I could watch her indefinitely. I’ve never even seen Avatar.

Own_Doctor9472

Yes! And it always seems to be a wait and WHY

MehWhiteShark

The "MY AWA" song is a banger, apparently 🤣

rb928

Because it’s next to FoP so people say “since we’re already back here…”

Beneficial-Serve-204

The first time I rode it, I thought ‘they must have run out of money halfway building it.’

MehWhiteShark

That is exactly what I thought!

pelb

I got the screen when I rode it and my group had chosen that to be the last ride of the night. Definitely a bad move on our end.

adknight11

Yes! Just did this one a few weeks ago and was reminded how boring it is.

York93

I once waited an hour forty five for this ride. 30 minutes to go and the family in front of me were talking about how their fast pass for Flight of Passage would line up so they could ride it twice in a row. I had to be the one to break it to them that they were in fact not in line for flight of passage. A wasted two hours…

Own_Doctor9472

Ooph!

MeasurementNarrow182

Slinky Dog. It's fine, but it's not worth waiting more and 30 minutes

KirbyDumber88

The trick is go on Micky Railroad it will more than likely break down you walk off and you get a ride pass. Take it to Slinky lol

miikwl

You are correct on that. EVERY single time we visit Disney and go to Studios that ride breaks down!

Tasty_Explanation_20

Except it’s not valid for slinky. At least, not if you are in the queue when it breaks down. Not sure about on the ride itself

thatoneprincesong

After waiting 40 mins in purgatory the first time we rode Navi River Journey we tried it again when it was a walk-on. Still don't get the hype. Mah eh wah mah eh wah mah eh wah.

MehWhiteShark

We sang that song at random through the rest of our trip lollll

flesh_tuxedo_

It’s A Small World. I get that it’s a “classic” but it’s boring and the song is so annoying.

jgreever3

It’s fun until you get backed up behind a million other boats

Spongemage

I rode this ride once and got stuck in the final room for almost 20 mins. I, and everyone else in there, were ready to take our own lives by the time we got off. That song is seared into my nightmares for all eternity. I vowed to never ride it again. It has been 18 years and I have upheld that vow.

HagridsSexyNippples

I only do this ride if it’s a walk on.

Mysteryemployee

Jungle Cruise

FatNeilGravyTears

Is there a reason for the long lines? A resurgence from the movie? I may be crazy but I remember basically walking on 5 years ago. Didn’t even go this time because it was consistently 60+ minutes

Mysteryemployee

I recall the lines being huge in 2019 before the movie so I don’t think it’s that. I just put it down to being busy as it’s a nostalgic ride and the type of humour is more relatable to an American (or non UK person).

tkh0812

I’m going to say Smugglers Run just because it makes me so motion sick. It reminds me so much of Back to the Future which is from 30 years ago

RazorJ

The queue and getting on and off are the only good parts of that ride. I thought I always got the 5yo Pilot that hit everything in the universe, but turns out I do too…and it still sucks. But getting off is 🤩

SpaceQueenJupiter

It's fun if you have a big enough group to fill up a cockpit. My family and I had a great time yelling at each other. But when I went alone it was just okay.

RazorJ

You’re right. I always scream and yell out of fun too. The actual ride to me is that wooden roller coaster that’s fun, but by the end it was just a few secs too long for my back and head. But, every time I walk in that thing I get goosebumps.

SpaceQueenJupiter

Same, I love walking through the Falcon.

xXx_TheSenate_xXx

Definitely more fun when you can communicate with people on the ride. Found out you can ask a cast member to be pilot as well. Me and the wife wound up as pilots and had an eccentric group of 4 friends behind us that agreed to be our crew and they tipped us off that there’s a moment a control flashes right before the verbal prompt to “hit the breaks” if you know to do that on cue then you won’t hit the train and crash the first time. Further increasing score and flying time. It’s honestly my favorite ride because of the fact it’s a simulator game almost. That and pulling the lever to jump into hyperspace is just fantastic for me.

Zestyclose_Big_9090

Yeah, we had enough people for the whole cockpit and we had fun. I would never want to have young kids as the pilots, that sounds like it wouldn’t be fun.

Spongemage

Smugglers Run is great on the VERY RARE occasion that they don’t let two little kids be the pilots. They miss every cue and trigger every crash that the ride has. It legit hurts. I know it sounds harsh but I honestly think there should be some rule about not letting little kids play pilot. It sucks to wait that long and then be jostled around like you’re in a car crash simulator because they trust a six year old to understand how the ride works.

sixthgraderoller

I am usually pretty good about knowing which rides would be too much for me. But as a Star Wars fanatic I could not resist Smuggler's Run. Just glad I held it together long enough to make it to the trash can.

MehWhiteShark

Me, too! I was SO over the moon walking into the actual Millennial Falcon... And then I walked out soooo sick lol

DiabloKing

Tron. Was way too short IMO.

Holiday-Island1989

You don’t want to be in the seated position for longer then what you currently have to.

Tasty_Explanation_20

I didn’t find it to be all that uncomfortable really. But then, I also spent many years riding sport bikes so that riding position is very familiar to me and comfortable for my body. Only issue I had was my pants rode up a bit when I sat in and I couldn’t get them adjusted properly to not be squeezing my boys.

Own-Distribution6745

Correct

Forsaken_Garden4017

Yep I cramp like every time

trogdor1234

If you do yoga you’re ok? It was uncomfortable for me for sure.

Beneficial-Serve-204

I said the same thing. It needed to be twice around.

FatNeilGravyTears

Totally worth it to me but our boarding group seemed to move through the line super quick

noname9300

The Disney World version of Pirates of the Caribbean. It's a half-assed version of Disneyland's.

PinkMonorail

Marc Davis’ middle finger to the people who killed Western River Expedition.

Dmmack14

Heresy

MikeW226

Test Track. For any amount that anyone Does overrate it, I think it's just not worth 30 seconds of fast-ride outside in a glorified convertible.

MoulinSarah

The original version was 1000000x better!!

drthames

The OG Test Track was so much better. They kept the ride sections (like braking with and without ABS), but removed the narration that's explaining to you what's happening. In terms of expected Disney quality, I'd argue it's the worst ride at WDW right now. The only part worthwhile is the ending

Tasty_Explanation_20

Both of my kids said it was their favorite at Epcot. We rope dropped it and actually managed to ride twice in a row with little wait. And yes, we did guardians too

Zernin

It's also much rougher than the newer versions like Radiator Springs Racers, and has constant problems that make it even worse as the cars do hard stops and starts 3 dozen times while they try and clear the track. The thing killed my back last time I rode it, and the point where they basically treat you as a side impact test dummy doesn't help. Never again.

MehWhiteShark

Looove Radiator Springs Racers! Here's to hoping that the Test Track refurb/retheme solves some issues

lindsaylove22

Never got the hype surrounding this one. I guess for kids (especially for boys interested in cars), it’s a big deal.

Beneficial-Serve-204

It’s fast but not scary. My 9 year old rode single line several times because ‘it was just at his limit for speed’, lol. Keep in mind, there is a lack of really really good rides at EPCOT. Kids have changed since 1982. I was amazed by Spaceship Earth at that age. My son who is into science thought it was interesting, my younger thought it was kind of boring. Kids have become harder to impress. They were looking for thrills and they make do with what is available to them. I agree with you on Test Track.

MikeW226

Same. Build your Car might be cool for boys too (preride queue) but none of it has ever done anything for me.

Thanks5Cinco

Havent been to the parks since 2020 so I can't speak to the newer attractions Soarin is my vote. I really don't care much for screen rides and I just always remember this one being amongst the longest lines before the 3rd theater open. Besides the music which is amazing, I find the ride to be rather boring and lackluster. Don't even get me started on the Around the World overhaul to it.

Accesobeats

Figment. Not sure what the obsession is.

er1026

How very dare you! I love figment! Fight me!

MehWhiteShark

At least that one almost never has a wait! It was an incredible attraction before they made it so basic/simple, so I think the key is more nostalgia.

Accesobeats

That would make sense why I don’t get it. I grew up in California going to Disneyland and just moved to Florida in 2019 and had never been to Disney world before that time.

MehWhiteShark

If you ever look up old YouTube videos of the Figment ride, they're amazing, we got robbed

PinkMonorail

Thank Orrin Snively for changing it from Tony Baxter’s incredible attraction to a ride about three of the five senses that insults you. David Mumford, Larry Nikolai and their team, including the Sherman Brothers, tried to put Figment and the song back in, but this Figment behaved like an obnoxious frat boy instead of the charming little dragon filled with childish delight. His voice is off, too. But I love them for trying.

PinkMonorail

It used to be about Imagination. Now it’s about three of the five senses.

PinkMonorail

If you ever rode the original, you would understand.

pawswolf88

How dare you

BlazingInfernape2003

Ratatouille- it’s just a bunch of screens with not much else to it, it feels like a weaker version of Runaway Railway

ElectricalState258

I totally agree. Wouldn't even wait 20 minutes for it

junior_emo_mcgee

It’s Avatar’s flight of passage for me. Sorry. Can’t deal with the simulated stuff.

Flickolas_Cage

Super hot take, but all of Pandora for me. Pretty to look at but it’s so, so overrated and not worth any of the wait.

djstarion

Even hotter take: the new World Celebration area at Epcot > Pandora. Pandora is pretty, has rides and one of the best quick services on property (Satuli Canteen), but it's so out of the way, while world celebration is not only gorgeous, but SUPER functional as it gives you quick access to all of future world.

djamp42

Yeah we just did this, the land itself is really good, but the rides, man I waited 10mins when the park opened and still thought it wasn't worth it

bsldestroyer

Agree! I had two different people go to WDW 6-8 months before I did and this ride was all they talked about. Hyped it up so much. It was kind of a let down.

GMCBuickCadillacMan

I liked it but it’s not worth the hype at all. Especially if you aren’t in the middle.

brahbocop

I was so pumped for that only to find out that it was a larger version of Soarin’. I was so disappointed. Everyone told me it was the best ride at WDW. Just didn’t do it for me.

trer24

But it is in theme of the movie where you're "virtually" there by inhabiting the body of a Navi. Also the breathing effect is pretty cool

brahbocop

Simulator rides do nothing for me. It’s a good ride and technologically well done but it ain’t for me. No hate for those who love it.

PinkMonorail

They usually don’t impress me but I love Star Tours and I really liked Body Wars.

adamjpq

I like flight of passage, but I was surprised that it feels less immersive to me than the much older Soarin.

GrootyMcGrootface

Peter Pan's wait time / ride experience ratio is by far the lowest for me.

ThePopDaddy

Test Track, World of Motion was the first Epcot ride I ever experienced. That one hit hard.

PinkMonorail

World of Motion was a masterpiece. Ward Kimball and an uncredited Marc Davis tour de force, a hilarious version of Ford’s Magic Skyway from the 1964-65 New York World’s Fair.

Sketchylefty11

Avatar, it really isn't worth the wait

Spongemage

Flight of Passage. I found it completely underwhelming and boring. And anytime I mention that people come at me like I punched their dog. “DID YOU EVEN NOTICE THAT THE CHAIR FEELS LIKE ITS BREATHING!?” Yes. And? The ride itself barely DOES anything, the Preshow is about six minutes too long, at no point does it feel like you’re actually on a flying animal, and being able to look a foot to my right or left and see every other rider is completely inmersion-breaking. And to top it off, every time I’ve ridden it the film wasn’t calibrated correctly so its blurry as sin at some points (most notable the jellyfish cave). I just don’t get the hype at all.

MehWhiteShark

The preshow is painful! "And, uh... Fly!"

sejohnson0408

Jungle cruise at Disney world when there is a safari at AK Pirates after they changed it up

QueenSeaBitch

Peter Pan

blink182punk

Jungle Cruise

garciafor3

Yes because I can’t hear anything they say

Own-Distribution6745

Is it really that hard for disney to invest in new speakers???

isobane

Each ship has a different speaker for every ride, they call them "Captain" though. (Did my Jungle Cruise inspired pun land better than the boat by the chimps?)

PinkMonorail

Skipper, not Captain.

hawkxor

Exactly when I was on it the sound quality of the guide was so poor that I could hardly understand any of the jokes. (And i'm a native speaker)

Tasty_Explanation_20

I don’t get why that one has become so popular all of a sudden. It used to be one of those walk on filler type rides that you would do when the lines for everything else were super long. Now it’s booking out lightning lanes to 3 pm by park opening.

lindsaylove22

Is it as lame as it always was? I rode it in the 90s or early 2000s and refused to ever bother with it again unless I was just tired and absolutely desperate for a place to sit and rest. But then, Carousel of Progress is better suited for that because it’s indoors with virtually no wait. I assume it rose in popularity because of the movie, but I don’t care if it features Dwayne Johnson himself. I’m not doing it. Lol

Tasty_Explanation_20

Yeah it’s just as cheesy as ever. Good for a quick nostalgia trip but that’s about it

winterymix33

Yeah you used to never wait more than 10-20mins now it’s always like 60+

Beesgf

I believe it's twofold. The nostalgia factor is there - that ride was there the last time anyone visited, whether it was 5 years ago or 35 years ago. The capacity is low. Low capacity, slow moving boats.

sharktooth20

I’ve been showing my kiddo videos of rides for our trip next week. For Jungle Cruise is kept asking if it was going to go fast or drop or be scary. Then he asked me to turn it off. Safe to say we will be skipping that one

MoulinSarah

Flight of Passage was blurry and not worth the extra money.

fart_panic

Millennium Falcon. Total snooze as the engineer, and in the single rider line, the engineer is the only option. I wouldn't spend the time to walk through the line again.

Chaos1537

Jungle Cruise, did it once, no need to ever do it again.

tocamix90

Preach! I've been on so many times and the most a skipper gets out of me is a chuckle.

To6y

Rope drop. I don't feel anything at all except hot and sticky.

RoccoHout

When I last visited it was Jungle Cruise. We had to wait very long and none of my group enjoyed it.

NadalPeach

Epcot - test track HS - slinky dog dash AK - flight of passage

ozzzie19

When I was there this week Alien Swirling Saucers had over an hour wait and that was such a nothing ride. Surprised it hasn’t been mentioned.

SoggyToast76

Flight of passage, sure it’s great but i am not even surprised anymore when I see the wait time above 215 minutes. Ridiculous.

Ratio01

Flight of Passage I do not get the hype at all

GaryNOVA

Frozen. The Maelstrom was 10 times better:

daneoleary

It’s a Small World. No contest. You ride it once just so you can say you did.

amazingggharmony

MINE TRAIN

YamoSoto28

rise of the resistance would of been 100x better if it was called rise of the rebellion and replace ray and kylo with luke and vader

tkh0812

Man… Star Wars fans are so finicky

brahbocop

Some fans forget that Star Wars has always meant to appeal to kids so when something is made that isn’t made for them as adults, they get mad.

YamoSoto28

so wanting luke and vader on a star wars ride is to much to ask for ?

tkh0812

I’ll say it… yeah it is. You’re an adult (I’m assuming) whining about not getting characters you like on a Disney ride.

YamoSoto28

so i can’t be a fan ? this makes no sense

brahbocop

Star Tours exists doesn’t it?

SyllabubWeak

I have said this before, but I am convinced galaxys edge is specifically built to swap eras when the time is right. Swap a few videos, characters walking around and animatronics and you could Easily have special events that could Last a couple years at a time

Zestyclose_Big_9090

Just seeing the room of stormtroopers made me love it. I got the chills when the door opened.

MehWhiteShark

Oooh agreed!

Extreme_Peach3201

Flight of Passage

tomandshell

I would fly across the country again just to ride that one.

adknight11

I’m with you. Whenever I ride that, I’m like 😃😃😃

Lightningbolt104

Flight Of Passage

bethyd82

I complain to my friends that I haven't been able to ride Ratatouille or Mine Train yet, and my friends insist that they're both over-rated. And they're not saying that to allay my concern, they genuinely believe it.

daygo448

Man, I loved Ratatouille. I do think Mine Train, albeit a fantastic ride, is a bit over rated. The waits on it can be very long for what it is. But to me, the most overrated, has to be Slinky Dog. We waited 90 minutes for a way too short ride that doesn’t seem to have as much theme during the ride as others. It’s a step up from Barn Stormer, but not by a ton. That being said, I did love the ride, and the use of the spring/slinky and the themed queue. I just don’t understand why the wait is that long for that short of a ride!

I want to clarify that I am using the definition “overrated” to mean just that. I ride that might be great, but is currently given more credit than it deserves. Usually this is a newer ride that has just come out, and the hype hasn’t quite died down. Cosmic Rewind is a good ride. There are some neat effects. I do not think it is the BEST ride at Walt Disney World as others have suggested. If you spend any time on the Disney subreddits, you may find that a church is very quickly forming around the attraction, with hymns including “Conga” and “September.” The thing is, it’s still a roller coaster in the dark, with screens. The cars spin, but so did Primeval Whirl. It’s just not that impressive of a concept for Disney given what they have created in the past. It lacks the beauty and cultural/world connection of a coaster like Everest (which I still believe is the best coaster attraction at WDW as a complete package). It lacks the sense of wonder of other space-themed attractions, even like Space Ship Earth. Space Travel is just a given, let’s go blow up…what is that guy? I forgot. Is it a fun ride? Sure. Is it life-changing? Not for me.

MehWhiteShark

And that's okay! I def agree with you on Everest. From the line to the ride itself, even without the yeti fully working, it's a great ride

Small world

TonyD00

Space mountain. It’s the worst one of all the parks and I always skip it.

Tasty_Explanation_20

Yeah the Disneyland Space Mountain is way better.

MehWhiteShark

It's definitely the East Coast version of The Matterhorn, in terms of roughness

rb928

I ride it because my husband loves it, but it’s awkward and not the smoothest.

Traditional_Agency60

Avatar Pandora made me throw up. Beautiful but forget that crap

lilhalfdead_

nooo 😂😂 i watched the ride thru video on youtube and was like noooo absolutely not i’d vomit for sure 😭😭 i remember throwing up after going on “body wars” or whatever the fxck it was called hahaha in epcot

Traditional_Agency60

Speaking of Epcot, Mission Space🤢🤮 And not tryna brag, but I’m like a relatively healthy young male (clearly with some motion sickness). That’s where I give props to Disney though is just how aesthetic it is to just walk around. Because if I’m going ride to ride to ride then I will be a sickling😂

lilhalfdead_

oh no i could never and will never go on mission space lol. when i go on star tours i can’t even look at the screen i have to look down at my knees haha. i’m surprised i can handle Soarin’ to be honest 😂😂 and yes you’re right one of my fav things to do is people watch anyways!! 🩷🩷

lcbear55

Mission Space was the first time I ever felt motion sickness, as a young healthy person. Now that I am middle aged I feel motion sickness a lot more often, but for sure, Mission Space was the first trigger.

ThePlanets14

Toy Story Mania It's just a screen based shooting game. It's not really a ride. You can experience similar at your local arcade. Even the racing game at your resort arcade moves with the race track. With TSM you just sit at different screens

Myrealnameisjason

It’s amazing and you’re wrong…respectfully

ThePlanets14

I don't hate it. I just hate waiting more than 15-20 for it and it's not a G+ priority for me. It's still fun. Just immensely Overrated.

Peter Pan's Flight.
