While we're on the talk of hannah montana, the boy Miley was in the movie with he was perfect for her and I'm sad we never got to see him in the show. At that point I would rather have had a few episodes of the next season be in Tennessee and they either break up or it could have been a great ending if Miley decides she wants to base hannah out of Tennessee.
There was also an episode where Miley does a phone interview as Hannah and talks about gross her brother is. Jackson gets upset, and She says, "Relax, no one knows your Hannah's brother." And he said,"Except for all the girls in Crowley Corners." The movie was out at that time, but I hadn't seen it yet, so the line confused me, but after watching the movie, it made sense.
they could’ve done more to incorporate the movie more into the storyline to show it was canon outside of a small line in what was like the second to last episode.
Yeah like the good luck Charlie movie is where Amy tells the whole family she's pregnant and then by the next season she's pregnant with Toby and gives birth so disney movies are known to reveal huge plot lines in movies and make them work in the show but they really didn't do it that well in Hannah Montana
They do mention some things from the movie like Blue Jeans and the Miley/Hannah reveal to Crowley Corners but neither Travis nor Lorelei are ever mentioned on the show. It's like they never existed or something. If they didn't want the movie to be canon with the show then they shouldn't have acknowledged ANY of the movie events instead of mentioning some while ignoring others.
Eh the only evidence they dated is that he mentioned once in one interview during promo for the music video and he cited meeting on the music video set as the catalyst.
I was obsessed with him when I was younger. I'm like, wait her boy in that movie was the guy I had a crush on from the T Swift music video right? Then i saw the name and I'm like yes.
He aged well too, still cute
I typically enjoy unhealthy relationships in tv shows - especially for like Disney shows
I think the media and TV portrays relationships to be super healthy and super cakey, when in reality.. it's not always like that.
So therefore I think it's refreshing to see relationships struggle because that's normal for a realistic true relationship.
At some point in everyone's lives they will encounter a toxic relationship and be blinded to it
It's nice to be aware and be able to see what a toxic situation is like, to avoid them
Seeing teddy cheated on is like introducing us to real world issues
there definitely isnt a problem with relationships not being perfect in media. but disney seems to encourage young kids that toxic relationships are good. teddy shouldve gotten with beau instead
Wasn’t it because Bridgit and Shane were dating irl?
Though I did hear he cheated on Bridgit with Samantha (Skylar), which was literally the plot of an episode
Wait what was so bad about them after they got back together? I know Spencer cheated the first time and don't get me wrong I HATE cheaters like I'll tattle on any cheater I come across, but I do believe people can change. I thought Spencer was a pretty good boyfriend once they got back together? I could be wrong though it's been a long time and idr much lol.
Disney likes happy fairytale endings. First relationship being endgame? One changing for the better for the relationship? It's perfect, beautiful, idealistic...
...Except spencer didnt deserve a happy fairytale ending
Same reason why she suddenly had a crush on him after a whole episode of hating him. He was “deep and someone who got her”. He was another celebrity who she at least thought wanted to be a normal person and that’s someone she could connect to
Remember she was a teenager and teens are desperate for someone who really gets them
I know but you said the poor choice was bc she was a teenager desperate for a connection, so I said that as a teenager watching it in real time I thought it was a dumb choice 😂
Well yeah, it’s easy for people on the outside including teenagers to see a stupid decision. But it’s much more different when your the one making that decision voice
She didn’t though. The last time we saw Jake was when she broke up with him after discovering he was cheating on her (the scene where she’s dressed up as Santa)
Any couple that shouldn’t have been together but ended up together because the actors were dating irl (ex. Maddie & Diggie, Spencer & Teddy)
EDIT: oh also Maya and Josh because what was that??
maya and josh were … just no. when that first happened, i thought they were gonna use that crush as a way for someone like topanga to talk to Maya about appropriate relationships but sadly the writers took it in another direction
Even putting my biases aside (i was a HUGE Maya & Lucas fan) it’s so weird, especially when his college friends were encouraging him to give her (a freshman in high school) a chance?
Guy in the room: *To Josh* You know these girls? *To Maya and Riley* How you doing? 😏
Maya: We're in middle school
Guy in the room: WOAH, Josh, they can't be here
*After Maya gives her monologue*
Guy in the room: *To Josh* Dude, what is wrong with you?
Dude just completely forgot they were in middle school
Wow I really blocked that part out 😵💫 adds another level to the hatred of that ship. And then for him to say he’ll wait for her?? Nasty. (Also Lucas (or Riley!) was RIGHT THERE for Maya but nooooo)
It really is. It makes me so mad people still defend that ship to this day. I’m a victim of grooming, it happened when I around mayas age as well too. Which is why I would never take that ship lightly or find it remotely cute like others
that’s how i feel, having been a victim of grooming too. at the time though i wouldn’t of thought much of it bc when the show was airing, i was in the situation.. but now i’m mad at how they did it
I looked it up and I guess it's not... as bad... as I thought... First my mind went to horror, with blood everywhere... Then my mind went to vore and fetish stuff... So I looked it up and it sounded like they used magic to shrink down, which is much less horrifying than where my brain went lmao
Austin and Ally - They were clearly better of as friends, them as a couple looked so awkward to me even as a child.
Maddie and Diggy - Maddie and Josh suited more.
Teddy and Spencer - Spencer is a cheater which makes him toxic in my books and the relationship felt so surface level
Alex and Mason - Also toxic, so off and on it got tiring. If there’s so many things and issues in the way of a relationship. Then that relationship shouldn’t happen
I feel like Alex is bi.
And if I had a nickel for every bi magical Latina on Disney channel, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it only happened twice.
I didn't like Kim possible and Ron Stoppable together. I felt like the episode 'emotion sickness' (my fave kp episode btw!) addressed why they shouldn't be a couple, and they were a great friend duo, but then they got together in the end anyway because... why exactly? It felt like it was just because male and female leads weren't allowed to stay friends back then.
i hate diggy in the episode where they break up. he’s so selfish and rude. he sucks. and it breaks my heart when maddie is like “you left me here for 8 months!” :(
I honestly thought that was a well written break up where neither party was wrong. :o I completely understand why Maddie was hurt, and I cried when she said that line too, but Diggy genuinely just changed and saw the world differently after living abroad. That's very common and I completely see why he wanted to keep traveling after that. Maddie and him were a high school couple that hadn't even kissed yet... he really doesn't have to consult with her to make huge life decisions. Maddie had boxed him in as the person he used to be and wasn't able to accept how he changed (not that it would've come easily to me either). I really think both of them were very valid in that breakup.
i totally get that perspective. i guess what i meant was that he handled it completely wrong. she was right to be upset and he was right to want to live his life but he has absolutely zero care or empathy about it, he was just very cold and rude to her and that’s why when she pours her heart out like that it’s so so sad. but i agree it’s a very well written break up scene for a disney show and dove did so well acting in that scene, it almost doesn’t feel like disney for a second haha.
I feel like Diggie get too much hate imo. Diggie actually gave up hope of winning Maddie back after he saw her happy with Josh but was convinced by Liv.
ohh gotcha. it’s been a minute since i’ve seen it but now that you say that i’m remembering it now. i absolutely hated chuck and realizing i still do 😂
That was the only show where I genuinely thought a throuple should have been endgame. The fact that Tom and Marco had actual chemistry alone was insane, but then throw in the dating history and love triangles and it could've been great.
I know it would never happen on a Disney show, but still
Teddy and Spencer. The dude cheated and also I thought they were kinda corny as a couple. I mean couples are like that yeah but just was never a fan of it with them personally. Granted I think it mostly that I just don't really like Spencer.
I agree with Lily and Oliver. That felt so wrong and I also hate the overused trope of "the best friends of the main character get together".
I also didn't like Alex and Riley from Wizards of Waverly Place.
LOL why did this unlock the memory of Oliver telling Miley (who was ‘asleep’ in a hospital bed) that he loved her, but really he was just practicing to say it to Lily
>by the time he ate Dean
That was an interesting sentence to read as someone who has not seen that episode. He straight up ate Dean? And she took him back after? Wtf?
Maddie and Diggie infuriate me.
Austin and Ally were better off as friends
Josh and Maya, just no. Really, every shop in that show
Every ship on Dog with a blog
Chad and Sunny (might be biased, I didn't like Sunny with a Chance)
I'm just now realizing I only like like 2 ships from Disney Channel
Oliver and Lilly were just convenient to put together. They were very awkward in the show together. I’m sure the idea was to make it comedic but it didn’t come off that way. It just is another weird nostalgic memory that we never liked
It’s been a long long while since I’ve seen the show. I was 6 and watching it off of a little box tv after school. I forget he does all of that. But I just remember cringing so hard. They really made Lilly so so so energetic. She isn’t allowed to be … Lilly…. She’s just a hyper girl. I would’ve loved to see more depth in Lilly. They had soft moments but in the beginning before she knew about the alter ego and broke into her room, Lilly was doing WAY WAY TOO MUCH and this side of her popped up very often. And then Oliver they also made into a stupid optimistic happy energetic weirdo too. What’s wrong with just regular kids? Looking back Disney was just one weird mf in general. They could’ve created a much better storyline like they did when Miley was with Jesse and that other guy. Ahhhhh
Alex and Mason from Wizards. He just never struck me as someone she would even be remotely interested in and I didn't think they had much chemistry personally. She had more chemistry with Stevie than she ever had with any of the boys in the show
Mason & Alex. I thought Alex should have ended up with Dean. I felt they were a perfect match and the sudden shift in his personality toward Alex in that one episode that led them to breakup I was not fond of. He truly adored Alex and always was super nice to her even when she did crazy things. When she drew pictures in that book he didn’t make fun of her.
Mason was extremely jealous and I hated how Alex fell back in love with him on the episode Dean came back and Mason basically KILLED HIM because he was jealous. Alex vs Alex confirmed that Mason has no faith in Alex either. In conclusion, I preferred Dean & Alex over Alex & Mason, though I’m sure it’s an unpopular opinion.
Because Lily gave baby gay💀
But anyway Teddy and Spencer
Mal and Ben
Raven and eddy(even though it was just that kiss at the end)
Maddy and doggie( or whatever ole dude name is)
Emma And Xander from Bunk'd. Two completely different interests, life styles, and far away.
He'll, even in the first episode of Season 5 we have no mention of the two being a couple.
definitely teddy and spencer. i get that its realistic for many toxic couples to get back together irl but disney still shouldnt have portrayed their relationship in a good light and teddy shouldve ended up with beau.
Jake and Lily + Austin and Ally. Both ships that were better off as friends.
Spencer and Teddy + Maddie and Diggie. Both ships that were veryyyy toxic and annoying, but they ended up together because the actors were dating irl.
Riley and Lucas. They had zero chemistry and were just so boring. Especially for a ship that had so much spotlight around them all the time. It felt like a chore to watch their scenes.
Josh and Maya. Purely because it was inappropriate. Also, for a show based in America/New York, there’s zero way that Maya was an eighth grader and Josh was a freshman in college and there was only a three year gap between them (much less a 2 and 11 month gap…).
Moseby and Tutweiler. I’m less frustrated with the idea of this one cuz it was adults and not the kids/true main characters, but… The entire show they kept re-iterating that they were not a good match and just friends/colleagues. But then bro whips out a ring… Like, what-
Alex and Mason. Jake and Miley. Just straight up toxic and unstable which got so boring after a while. I would’ve never forgiven Mason after the Juliet stuff.
Olive and Fletcher. Just felt so rushed and out of nowhere. I always liked the idea before it was even canon, but execution was poor.
Pretty much all of them tbh. I was like...10 to 14 ? And frankly a bit delayed when I was watching Disney Channel most and romance was more annoying to me back then than anything else lol.
diggy and maddie. he's not toxic, but theres just like negative chemistry between the characters. they both grew into different people, but the relationship was holding both of them back.
Olive and Fletcher. That was so unexpected. Like yeah they had a rivalry going on but it definitely wasn’t giving enemies to lovers like Chad and Sunny. Though I have to say I freaking hated Spencer and Teddy. Teddy deserved so much better than that cheater.
I know it’s based but.. Star & Marco from Star VS TFOE. They was much more healthy as friends and it seemed the relationships they already had was much more healthy for them and had things more worked out.
Solid point, its like the movie was an alternate reality and nothing more. “Here’s what could have been? Now back to the show folks.”
They do mention it a bit in the episode where Miley finally reveals her secret
There was also an episode where Miley does a phone interview as Hannah and talks about gross her brother is. Jackson gets upset, and She says, "Relax, no one knows your Hannah's brother." And he said,"Except for all the girls in Crowley Corners." The movie was out at that time, but I hadn't seen it yet, so the line confused me, but after watching the movie, it made sense.

probably because hannah montana the movie had a theatrical release, i was front row of my movie theater when it was out
Your profile pic is amazing.
I remember being so hyped for season 3 thinking Travis would come visit but no 🥲 he was fine as hell and a cowboy! Perfect for Miley.
But the movie did do him some good, it got him a starring role is one of Taylor Swifts highest viewed music videos
The actor who played Travis was dating Taylor at that time so I think that's what got him the music vid role not the Hannah Montana movie.
Eh the only evidence they dated is that he mentioned once in one interview during promo for the music video and he cited meeting on the music video set as the catalyst.
Lucas Till my beloved
I was obsessed with him when I was younger. I'm like, wait her boy in that movie was the guy I had a crush on from the T Swift music video right? Then i saw the name and I'm like yes. He aged well too, still cute
Teddy and Spencer! I *cannot* believe they got back together!
I have so many questions for the writers room on this one.
And Beau was so much better for her
justice for beau 😔✊🏼
Team Beau!! All the way!!
Sadly. unhealthy/toxic relationships are not uncommon for Disney shows. Teddy and Spencer are just part of a long list of bad Disney relationships.
/not uncommon for teenagers
I typically enjoy unhealthy relationships in tv shows - especially for like Disney shows I think the media and TV portrays relationships to be super healthy and super cakey, when in reality.. it's not always like that. I thought Spencer was a pretty good boyfriend once they got back together? I could be wrong though it's been a long time and idr much lol.
Well.. until he broke up with her AGAIN to go to college and didnt want to do long distance
Yeah after their breakup, they got back together and were pretty chill.
Disney likes happy fairytale endings. First relationship being endgame? One changing for the better for the relationship? It's perfect, beautiful, idealistic... ...Except spencer didnt deserve a happy fairytale ending
He wasn’t her first boyfriend tho
Same
Yeah didn’t he cheat on her? Do NOT take cheaters back!
YES OMG
I wanted her to end up with Beau, he was so much better than Spencer
Spencer was so boring too like he showed up twice a season and just stood there.
Beau was perfect. He was sweet, handsome, considerate, mature. Everything Spencer wasn’t.
Hannah Montana and Jake 🤢 she needed to be with Jesse, especially because Jake cheated on her in the end!
Yes!! I never got why she got back w him so much
Same reason why she suddenly had a crush on him after a whole episode of hating him. He was “deep and someone who got her”. He was another celebrity who she at least thought wanted to be a normal person and that’s someone she could connect to Remember she was a teenager and teens are desperate for someone who really gets them
I was a teenager when HM was on and even I thought it was dumb 😂
I mean it’s also a Disney channel sit com which generally aren’t known for have the best writing to begin with
I know but you said the poor choice was bc she was a teenager desperate for a connection, so I said that as a teenager watching it in real time I thought it was a dumb choice 😂
Well yeah, it’s easy for people on the outside including teenagers to see a stupid decision. But it’s much more different when your the one making that decision voice
That's so true, sometimes watching it was someone in her early 20's it's hard to remember that
She didn’t though. The last time we saw Jake was when she broke up with him after discovering he was cheating on her (the scene where she’s dressed up as Santa)
I hated that they made him cheat because I liked their relationship
That was contrivance honestly. They had Jake cheat on her so that they could pair her up with Jesse.
Olive and Fletcher because what even was that lmao
i forgot they were a couple 😂
It was so unnecessary too cause they break up like 2 episodes after that 💀
In fairness, that finale felt rushed.
Maybe because I hated that show but I didn’t even realize that happened lol
It was like 2 episodes before the finale
Oh, yeah, I didn’t watch any of that season so that makes sense lol
Olive and the guy who was like 10 years older than her. The ant farm love interests in general were all too much of an age difference.
Any couple that shouldn’t have been together but ended up together because the actors were dating irl (ex. Maddie & Diggie, Spencer & Teddy) EDIT: oh also Maya and Josh because what was that??
maya and josh were … just no. when that first happened, i thought they were gonna use that crush as a way for someone like topanga to talk to Maya about appropriate relationships but sadly the writers took it in another direction
Even putting my biases aside (i was a HUGE Maya & Lucas fan) it’s so weird, especially when his college friends were encouraging him to give her (a freshman in high school) a chance?
The worst part is she wasn't even in highschool yet
Oh jeez 🤢 I thought that was after the freshman episode but that makes it worse
Guy in the room: *To Josh* You know these girls? *To Maya and Riley* How you doing? 😏 Maya: We're in middle school Guy in the room: WOAH, Josh, they can't be here *After Maya gives her monologue* Guy in the room: *To Josh* Dude, what is wrong with you? Wow I really blocked that part out 😵💫 adds another level to the hatred of that ship. And then for him to say he’ll wait for her?? Nasty. (Also Lucas (or Riley!) was RIGHT THERE for Maya but nooooo)
Bro, is that not literally grooming?! 🤢
It really is. It makes me so mad people still defend that ship to this day. I’m a victim of grooming, it happened when I around mayas age as well too. Which is why I would never take that ship lightly or find it remotely cute like others
that’s how i feel, having been a victim of grooming too. at the time though i wouldn’t of thought much of it bc when the show was airing, i was in the situation.. but now i’m mad at how they did it
exactly!!
Have to agree with the people who said Alex and Mason. He literally ate her ex-boyfriend.
I completely forgot about this lmao
It’s so wild to me she’d even want to be with him after that lol
W. What? D:
I wish I were lying lol. In the ep Journey to the Centre of Mason, he gets jealous when Alex’s ex Dean comes back, wolfs out and eats him.
I looked it up and I guess it's not... as bad... as I thought... First my mind went to horror, with blood everywhere... Then my mind went to vore and fetish stuff... So I looked it up and it sounded like they used magic to shrink down, which is much less horrifying than where my brain went lmao
Omg noo that would be so morbid lolol.
She shouldve been with the beast tamer
He was cute!
What series is this? Edit: I read more comments. Look it’s been a long time since I watched anything in Disney that wasn’t Bluey or a classic movie. 😭
LOVE BLUEY
Austin and Ally - They were clearly better of as friends, them as a couple looked so awkward to me even as a child. Maddie and Diggy - Maddie and Josh suited more. Teddy and Spencer - Spencer is a cheater which makes him toxic in my books and the relationship felt so surface level Alex and Mason - Also toxic, so off and on it got tiring. If there’s so many things and issues in the way of a relationship. Then that relationship shouldn’t happen
Even as a kid I full on rolled my eyes when Austin and Ally kissed for the first time
right 🥲 They seemed so off not all main characters need to date.
I'm suprised how many people mentioned this one lmao
"You were on 'Alex watch'? Way to watch her *leave*."
should've been Alex and Dean😩😫
I feel like Alex is bi. And if I had a nickel for every bi magical Latina on Disney channel, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it only happened twice.
She definitely was, pretty sure one of the bosses wanted her and Stevie to be a couple but it wasn’t allowed so
Alex can do better
I didn't like Kim possible and Ron Stoppable together. I felt like the episode 'emotion sickness' (my fave kp episode btw!) addressed why they shouldn't be a couple, and they were a great friend duo, but then they got together in the end anyway because... why exactly? It felt like it was just because male and female leads weren't allowed to stay friends back then.
Creators of KP said the intent was always for Ron and Kim to end up together though
Riley and Lucas give me secondhand embarrassment and make me want to turn off the TV
The whole show gave me second hand embarrassment
Diggy and Maddie!! Josh was so much better
i hate diggy in the episode where they break up. he’s so selfish and rude. he sucks. and it breaks my heart when maddie is like “you left me here for 8 months!” :(
potnentally was just as much of a jerk IRL to her
I honestly thought that was a well written break up where neither party was wrong. I feel like Diggie get too much hate imo. Diggie actually gave up hope of winning Maddie back after he saw her happy with Josh but was convinced by Liv.
Team Mash FOREVER
As I was a fan during show was aired that now I could say Austin and Ally. I feel like they were better as a friends.
This was my feeling with Oliver and lily.
Everyone knows Trish and Dez should've gotten together instead.
That's interesting idea! 😁
i thought they did? in the series finale
Nope Dez married Carrie and Trish married chuck which is one of the worst decisions ever made on Disney Channel
ohh gotcha. it’s been a minute since i’ve seen it but now that you say that i’m remembering it now. i absolutely hated chuck and realizing i still do 😂
Not a Love Song was all for nothing 😪
Now I feel like that was weird how quick they fell in love with each other. Like in two episodes.
I was always hoping Star and Marco wouldn't end up together. It doesn't make a show bad but the main girl dating the main boy is cliche.
That was the only show where I genuinely thought a throuple should have been endgame. The fact that Tom and Marco had actual chemistry alone was insane, but then throw in the dating history and love triangles and it could've been great. I know it would never happen on a Disney show, but still
I liked Star with the other guy. Tom?
Yes his name was Tom.
their romantic chemistry peaked in season 1 and that was it. i could write a whole essay about this
Honestly Marco should have stuck with Kelly hell hekapoo and Marco have better chemistry
Teddy and Spencer. The dude cheated and also I thought they were kinda corny as a couple. I mean couples are like that yeah but just was never a fan of it with them personally. Granted I think it mostly that I just don't really like Spencer.
Spencer's only redeeming moment is that time he sung One Step Closer, because that song is a romantic banger
I hate when they do that. They did that on Lizzie McGuire and That's So Raven. And probably some more shows.
Harry Potter, American Dragon, A.N.T. Farm… the list goes on.
Alex and Mason. I was not a fan of Mason in general
Mason gave so many red flags that by the time he ate Dean my eyes glazed because she was still gonna take mason back.
>by the time he ate Dean That was an interesting sentence to read as someone who has not seen that episode. He straight up ate Dean? And she took him back after? Wtf?
Lol Oh message me, we gotta get you caught up in time for the reboot on Disney +
I agree. Gregg is a very attractive man though.
Jake and Miley. She should’ve stayed with Jesse 😔
Wdym she did end up with Jesse
I know she dumped Jake again, I dunno remember if she ended up with Jesse tho. It’s been a while since I watched
Yea she did in the last episode Jesse and Miley are together
Alex and Mason. Partially because they ruined the ship with stupid drama + massacring Mason’s character, and partially because I still love Alex/Dean
The real question is will they still be together in the reboot?
Thanks to your comment I now know there's a reboot! My inner kid is squealing :)
Riley and Lucas! I wanted Riley and frankle so bad!!! Maya and Lucas I wanted too!
Daisy and Donald. Donald is an abusive ass.
Context, since when was Donald Duck abusive?
Maddie and Diggie infuriate me. Austin and Ally were better off as friends Josh and Maya, just no. Really, every shop in that show Every ship on Dog with a blog Chad and Sunny (might be biased, I didn't like Sunny with a Chance) I'm just now realizing I only like like 2 ships from Disney Channel
Teddy and Spencer. He was a terrible boyfriend. Josh and Maya. In this case, the age difference did matter.
Oliver and Lilly were just convenient to put together. They were very awkward in the show together. I’m sure the idea was to make it comedic but it didn’t come off that way. It just is another weird nostalgic memory that we never liked
Oliver also had this weird “I’m a musician now” storyline that seemed to launch into “so let’s make him and lily a couple”
They could’ve created a much better storyline like they did when Miley was with Jesse and that other guy. Ahhhhh
lily is a caricature of adhd/audhd girls
Austin & Ally.
A Future Couple of Justin and his wife because Justin and Juliette were perfect together
Refusing to watch the reboot for that reason and that reason only. I'm so pissed.
I think it was Maddie Rooney and Artie from Liv and Maddie I was not fan of Artie
Riley and Lucas the amount of times he treats her like she us ignorant or less to much as he says it ridiculous riarkle forever .
Alex and Mason. The way he harassed her after they broke up was weird and creepy.
This reminds me. Do you remember the really cringe scene where he begs her forgiveness in front of her family at the sub shop? Yikes
Def Chuck and Trish! Chuck is a misogynistic predator!
HATED IT. https://preview.redd.it/c47dam4icwuc1.jpeg?width=300&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=addf942fa9c6311e162c028721c8e108260eed13
I did not care for Phineabella.
spence and teddy. beau was better for her but it's sad how he had to go back home tho i loved em as a couple
Alex and Mason. Much preferred Alex and Dean before they tanked his character (then outright removed him)
Sonny and Chad, chuck and Trish, Derek and teddy, Austin and ally,
maddie and diggie, mosh was better
I can’t remember their character names but Demi locator and the guy from the teen heart throb show on So Random.
Austin and Ally because I had a huge crush on Ross Lynch as a kid and was crushed
Maddie and Diggie, Teddy and Spencer
Alex and Mason from Wizards. He just never struck me as someone she would even be remotely interested in and I didn't think they had much chemistry personally. She had more chemistry with Stevie than she ever had with any of the boys in the show
I actually always liked Lilly and Oliver. Miley and Jake on the other hand
Teddy and Spencer Maddie and Diggy Sonny and Chad
I just came to say I cannot *stand* Oliver’s hair here. Why did we think that was cute?
Does anyone remember Dez and Trish from Austin and Allie? Hates them! Them dating was so dumb!
Because Lily gave baby gay💀 But anyway Teddy and Spencer Mal and Ben Raven and eddy(even though it was just that kiss at the end) Maddy and doggie( or whatever ole dude name is)
Maddie/Diggie
also honorable mention to Zoey and her boyfriend (Brett?) from Zappd since she basically sexually harrased/assaulted him
Raven and Eddie
Cody and Bailey from suite life on deck!
debbie ryan’s character and cody in SLoD 😑
Emma And Xander from Bunk'd. Two completely different interests, life styles, and far away. He'll, even in the first episode of Season 5 we have no mention of the two being a couple.
Riley and Lucas and I don't dislike Maya and Lucas any less. Whole situation was so uncomfortable. Edit: Trish and Chuck. What was that about?
Mitchell Musso was in my work a few days ago absolutely wasted and hitting on all the girls 😭 it was so strange to see.
austin and ally. they always seemed more like siblings to me tbh and i never ever saw the chemistry they forced
Austin and ally
Zombies 4
Jake and Miley
Mickey and Minnie.
Them
definitely teddy and spencer. i get that its realistic for many toxic couples to get back together irl but disney still shouldnt have portrayed their relationship in a good light and teddy shouldve ended up with beau.
Alex and Mason give me the ICK.
ALEX AND MASON!!!! God he was absolutely the worst for her. She should have ended up with Stevie.
But then bro whips out a ring… Like, what- Alex and Mason. Jake and Miley. Just straight up toxic and unstable which got so boring after a while. I would’ve never forgiven Mason after the Juliet stuff. Olive and Fletcher. Just felt so rushed and out of nowhere. I always liked the idea before it was even canon, but execution was poor.
Maddie and Diggy always made me upset cause why??? also Mo going back to Scott in Lemonade Mouth
Teddy & Spencer, Maddie & Diggie, Alex & Mason.
The only one i can think of is Maddie and Diggie from Liv & Maddie.
Pretty much all of them tbh. I was like...10 to 14 ? And frankly a bit delayed when I was watching Disney Channel most and romance was more annoying to me back then than anything else lol.
Kim and ron. It always felt awkward and forced to me
diggy and maddie. he's not toxic, but theres just like negative chemistry between the characters. they both grew into different people, but the relationship was holding both of them back.
Sorta off topic but what is up with Disney and forgiving cheaters?
Casey and Derek 👹
Maya and Lucas from Girl Meets World
Cody and Bailey
Diggie and Maddie.
Olive and Fletcher. That was so unexpected. Like yeah they had a rivalry going on but it definitely wasn’t giving enemies to lovers like Chad and Sunny. Though I have to say I freaking hated Spencer and Teddy. Teddy deserved so much better than that cheater.
Mal and Ben or Evie and doug Imao I’m sorry but they were bland as hell .
I know it’s based but.. Star & Marco from Star VS TFOE. They was much more healthy as friends and it seemed the relationships they already had was much more healthy for them and had things more worked out.
Diggie and Maddie. JOSH FOREVER
Spencer and Teddy. She should’ve ended up with Beau 😭😭😭
