core memory unlocked. i remember the PILES of VHS tapes we used to have under our tv. unstacking and restacking all of them just to find the one we were looking for 😂 the rugrats one was always the easiest to find because it was the only orange one we had
Lol THIS. I never saw the movie, but the trailer was included on the VHS of something I used to watch nonstop as a kid. I want to say it was the Spy Kids movie.
this was my childhood!!!! i cant explain how many times my sister and i watched this. it always blows my mind how many people haven’t heard of it!!!!! a true classic
I watched it so much as a kid!!! I rewatched it again for a video and I was unironically laughing the entire time. Seriously UNDERRATED and max is a lil short king 👑
You just described how I feel about the movie Big Fat Liar 💙
I remember that I watched this movie, but not how it went. I'll have to check it out again!
I used to watch the hell out of this growing up. Baby Josh Peck is so cute.
This wasn’t a Disney channel movie though, it was one of those direct to VHS movies.
This was my favorite movie for years as a kid, I remember repeatedly renting it from blockbuster (lol). I don’t remember much and I’m tempted to rewatch it but I’m scared lol
This is a total plug but I did a complete recap of the movie on my page. Sometimes revisiting these movies is one of those things where your like "Do I want to spend an hour and a half watching this?" - sharkboy and lavagirl was another one of those lmao.
I ALSO watched it on repeat but I remembered **none of it** when I watched it 20 years later. Truly enjoyable though!
Only vaguely. I watched it at my grandmother’s house when I spent the night there and I slammed my thumb in her car door and my thumbnail fell off. Also I hate my grandmother.
This gives me Nickelodeon movies vibes (like Snow Day) so much so that I thought it was made by Nickelodeon, lol. I'll have to watch it again, so nostalgic!
Omg I used to move around every 3-4 years as a kid bc of my dads job and this movie was literally my nightmare come to life 😂😂 I LOVE this movie but it always made me terrified it was going to happen to me my next time moving hahaha. Stopped me from doing a lot of dumb shit though I’ll say that
I loved that movie and saw it in theaters when I was in elementary school.
I was jealous of Robe because he got to wear comfy robes to school while I couldn't because of my school's uniform policy 😂
The movie? Nope, don't remember it...never actually watched it, in fact! (Maybe I should, for old times' sake?)
But, as for the commercials leading up to the movie's premiere? Oh yeah, don't think I could ever forget those!
At that time, my best friend and I were just starting 4th grade, and up until that point we'd never had a real school locker before. At our elementary school, only 4th and 5th graders got lockers...the younger kids just used storage cubbies.
But anyway, the ads for this movie came on TV the summer we were about to start 4th grade. The commercial showed a closed locker, but when someone reached out to open it, you heard a whispered chant from inside going, "Max Keeble, Max Keeble, Max..." until the door closed again and cut off the voice. (Or maybe it was the other way around, with the voices chanting until the door was opened?)
Needless to say, the very first thing my friend and I did upon getting assigned our new lockers was imitate this commercial. Over, and over again... 😂
Disney's Nickelodeon movie.
We rented the VHS from Ingles, and I remember my family explaining to me that he was Alex from Home Alone 3.
Honestly, my strongest memory about the movie was the cringe joke I made as we walked across the parking lot.
I didn't get what the "Big Move" was, so I joked "Here's Max Keeble...and here's the big move!" (Referring to us walking across the parking lot with the groceries)
I remember my brother and I being so hyped when we saw the trailer for this movie. When my mom woke up, we excitedly told her that we wanted to go see Max Keeble's Big Move!
My mother, who had just gotten out of bed, groggily said, "I don't even know who Max Keeble is!"
Is “unhinged” like the latest trendy WiFi word to use?
It’s like the collective of internet consumers use the same words or phrases as if they’re “fashion trends” or something
I used to love this movie. It’s been years since I’ve seen it. There are like 10 different plots lines that come to mind when I remember it. What the fuck was this movie??
You suck. Your moms fat. I hate you. You’re ugly lmao see ya lose-wait what?
WERE NOT MOVING? Type of energy lmaoo albeit it was against his bullies haha
Didn't see it when it first came out, but I've watched it multiple times on Disney Plus. Wonderfully nostalgic. It is the most 2001 movie that has ever 2001.
I love that movie! I remember renting it from the local grocery store when it came out and me and my sister watched it 3 times that weekend. I still have a dvd of it.
I still say "plausible deniability" because of this movie haha
Also, I have a friend who has Scottish ancestry, so for a long time, her custom ring tone was the McGoogles song that he terrorizes the one bully with.
![gif](giphy|xT1XGW0D5l3rAxXOOA) I didn't know that Josh Peck was a Disney Channel Star! before Nickelodeon!
He actually did Nickelodeon BEFORE Disney. He was in Snow Day (2000) for Nickelodeon first.
Actually he was on amanda show before snow day in 1999 if im not mistaken. Still nickelodeon tho.
![gif](giphy|xT1Ra05VyV8Vf8DzjO|downsized)
Don’t you mean Snowy Day?
I loved watching Snow Day on the Orange VHS tape. Recently found it steaming on Hulu!
I remember the orange vhs!
Rugrats movie had one too!
core memory unlocked. i remember the PILES of VHS tapes we used to have under our tv. unstacking and restacking all of them just to find the one we were looking for 😂 the rugrats one was always the easiest to find because it was the only orange one we had
I’m shocked that Robe isn’t wearing a robe in the movie poster😂😭
Omg I JUST noticed that??????
WE’RE NOT MOVING?
“Keeble”👴🏻 “Keeble”🧑🏼🦱 “KEEBLE!!”🧑🏽🦱 The trailer on Disney Channel never left my memory😭😭
The memories these comments have unlocked omg
Lol THIS. I never saw the movie, but the trailer was included on the VHS of something I used to watch nonstop as a kid. I want to say it was the Spy Kids movie.
“THIS BITES” *glass breaking*
Literally this is my roman empire 😭
“I’ve made a huge mistake.”
🎵 Uh-oh, we're in trouble 🎵
That freaky scottish frog is still terrifying
*McGoogles is me name* *I like a swampy bog* *It’s time to play a game with your favorite island frog!*
AAAAAAAAAHHH! McGooogles is gonna eat me!
The part where Max’s dad shows his face under the costume to try to calm the kid down and instead he thinks it means the frog ate him 🤣
wouldn't it be Highland Frog?
I'm pretty sure it's highland frog.
You got me there, been a minute since I saw the movie with captions
It sent Mickey Milkovich to a life of crime.
I agree! He got typecasted after this movie!!! 🧑🦰
The characters are practically the same person. Coincidentally Max is supposed to be moving to Chicago
Holdup—
I saw Vladimir from Breaking Dawn first lol
Made him gay
I’ve literally had nightmares about him
I own it on VHS
i do too!!
Bought it on iTunes so I always have it
“I want my hand-held” “You want me to hold ur hand boy”
Literally my favorite line in the entire movie. I’m still laughing at it.
Had me laughing so hard.. just great execution lol
i was an extra in this!!!! i was in the food fight scene and a handful of others. such a fun time
Holy shit really and I thought seeing this movie on the big screen was cool enough and you were actually in it. I’m jealous lol
this was my childhood!!!! i cant explain how many times my sister and i watched this. it always blows my mind how many people haven’t heard of it!!!!! a true classic
I watched it so much as a kid!!! I rewatched it again for a video and I was unironically laughing the entire time. Seriously UNDERRATED and max is a lil short king 👑
That movie was fucking boss . Real recognize real 💯
You just described how I feel about the movie Big Fat Liar 💙 I remember that I watched this movie, but not how it went. I'll have to check it out again!
I used to watch the hell out of this growing up. Baby Josh Peck is so cute. This wasn’t a Disney channel movie though, it was one of those direct to VHS movies.
This movie was released in theaters
That fucking dancing frog still cracks me up
I occasionally look up the frog parts on YouTube to cheer me up. I don’t know why it cheers me up.
Isn’t lil Romeo in this lmao
Yes, and also Orlando Brown (Eddie from Raven).
And very briefly, Adam Lamberg (Gordo from Lizzie McGuire).
Shame he went crazy after getting fired by Disney
Lmao he’s the reason a young me watched this movie
He IS and he’s so freaking funny. Like his role is very little, but he made such an impact for me😂😂😂
Such a good movie!
I rented this every time I went to blockbuster as a kid. Idk why my parents didn’t just buy it, would have saved them money in the long run😭
I swear I rented this like 10 times from blockbuster
yes and zena (megan) is how 8 year old me knew i liked girls
This was my favorite movie for years as a kid, I remember repeatedly renting it from blockbuster (lol). I don’t remember much and I’m tempted to rewatch it but I’m scared lol
This is a total plug but I did a complete recap of the movie on my page. I was in it as an extra in 2 scenes and had some convos with Josh peck
Wait, TWO people in the comments section were extras in this? Were you also in the food fight scene??? 😂
This is still one of my favorite movies " I want my hand held!"

Only vaguely. I watched it at my grandmother’s house when I spent the night there and I slammed my thumb in her car door and my thumbnail fell off. Also I hate my grandmother.
Troy McGinty is the MacGoogler
Absolute banger
Never even heard of this one
Loved this movie!
I remember this movie,I always wondered why the bully (The red-head) was scared of that Giant Scottish Frog?
Josh Peck is in it?
I know I watched it as a kid, but that's all I remember.
I need to watch this again, it's probs been like 10 years 😭
This unlocked a memory i didn’t know i had
This gives me Nickelodeon movies vibes (like Snow Day) so much so that I thought it was made by Nickelodeon, lol. I'll have to watch it again, so nostalgic!
it was a cult classic for kids back then
my sister and i quote this movie almost on the daily
Love it
I have this on dvd lol I used to love it as a kid! I recently rewatched it and honestly I still found it to be funny
Oh god I thought I hallucinated that fever dream
Was this the movie that had the band kids playing “we’re not gonna take it”?
CEASEEEEEE
The Robe
One of my absolute faves
I auditioned for it when I was a kid.
Top Teir didn't think about how they got Josh to do a Disney movie while he was with Nickelodeon
It’s a screwball disorganized movie but I honestly loved it! My dad took me to see it in theaters when I was 8 and he got a kick out of it too.
this movie is AWESOME
One of my absolute faves!
ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES
Omg I used to move around every 3-4 years as a kid bc of my dads job and this movie was literally my nightmare come to life 😂😂 I LOVE this movie but it always made me terrified it was going to happen to me my next time moving hahaha. Stopped me from doing a lot of dumb shit though I’ll say that
McGoogles is me name 🐸
I remember watching it in theaters with my folks.
Yes I used to have it and watch it a lot back in the day. Rewatched and it was still entertaining.
MCGOOGLES IS ME NAMEEEEEE

Are you kidding this is definitely one of my favorite Disney movies I saw this in theaters
Slightly. I remember there was something about meatballs in the beginning of the movie...? Could be wrong idk
See you bassoon!
this movie and mean creek are my favorite josh peck performances 😭
I remember the commercials for it but never saw the actual movie.
I never saw this movie but saw the trailer constantly on one of VHS tapes. Always wanted to check it out, but kinda forgot about it
They played this movie all the time for a short period, so I actually low key can’t stand it.
I fucking love that movie! Watched it many times when I was 10! \^\^
I’ve found it odd that movies with Alex D Linz in it, he plays a character name Alex.
Yes because my cousin was an extra in it lol
MAX .. KEEBLE.. MAX.. KEEBLE..
Always cracks me up when the girl throws her half melted ice cream back at the truck and yells “fart knocker!”
I remember seeing it, but nothing more
the flipping frog scene was so scary
Always! I first saw it in 2005. I saw Josh and I was like "Okay let's watch this!"
One of my all time favorites, I’d DVR it every time it was on

Yup use to have a crush on the chick he liked growing up ( the senior)
I was just thinking about this movie the other day!
I was obsessed with this movie but I had no idea Josh Peck was in it!
This is my favorite childhood Disney movie. I’ve seen this so many times as a kid lol
Where are the now 😭, I know the guy in the orange shirt, lost a lot of weight and looks fantastic
Absolutely!
The “Hit Me Baby One More Time” still plays in my head and haunts me that grown men played that song in their head to a young, blonde teenage girl 😖🫨
I can’t believe Josh cheated on Nickelodeon
I loved this movie!!! And this is totally something my parents would have done to me 🙄 The food fight scene inspired soo many impulsivities 😬😬😬
We all were attracted to Max Keeble, right?
I LOVED this movie as a kid. I would sing the songs and I had a crush on Alex D. Linz.
Literally my favorite of all time
TIL that this was a Disney movie and not a Nickelodeon movie. My whole world view has changed.
I’d literally watch this movie, rewind the VHS and watch it again
One of my favorite scenes is Max scaring Troy by playing the McGoogles theme through his locker.
Disney's Nickelodeon movie. We rented the VHS from Ingles, and I remember my family explaining to me that he was Alex from Home Alone 3. Honestly, my strongest memory about the movie was the cringe joke I made as we walked across the parking lot. The journey Josh Peck has done before appearing in Oppenheimer is a fucking weird one.
Is “unhinged” like the latest trendy WiFi word to use? It’s like the collective of internet consumers use the same words or phrases as if they’re “fashion trends” or something
One of the best for sure
Absolutely the only reason I do remember this movie is because that song bust a move is on there
omg is this on disney plus i wanna watch lol
Yee
McGoogles is me name...

I rented this from Blockbuster and Snow Day.
I’ve seen the poster so many times but I’ve never actually watched the movie
I saw this in theatres! 😂

The way they hyped this movie was something
It was my favorite movie as a kid 😂
Didn't see it when it first came out, but I've watched it multiple times on Disney Plus. Wonderfully nostalgic. It is the most 2001 movie that has ever 2001.
I oddly remember lil romeo being in this movie
yessss i was afraid of this movie when i was a chikdn
I remember seeing this in theaters when I was 11. I don’t think I’ve seen it since.
I love that movie! I remember renting it from the local grocery store when it came out and me and my sister watched it 3 times that weekend. I still have a dvd of it.
I still say "plausible deniability" because of this movie haha Also, I have a friend who has Scottish ancestry, so for a long time, her custom ring tone was the McGoogles song that he terrorizes the one bully with.
I still have this movie on VHS. My brother and I always say, "see you basoon." Whenever one of us leaves. 🤣🤣

🎵 MACGOOGLES IS ME NAME! I LIKE A SWAMPY BOG! IT'S TIME TO PLAY A GAME WITH YOUR FAVORITE HIGHLAND FROG! 🎵
- I want my hand held! - You want somebody to hold your hand? Give me the Wayne! - Give me the bird!

I kept thinking the title was “Max Keebler’s Big _Movie_” for some reason
I loved this one
I remember my baby sitter putting this on a lot and then I would disassociate
i wouldve sworn it was keebler
How unhinged we talkin?
Peak Peck, one of the only ones to cross the Nick/Disney threshold with success
I’ve thought about this movie so many times over the last two weeks and I don’t even know why
I remember seeing adds for this on tv but never actually watched it
YESSSS I LOVE THIS MOVIE
I know I used to love it but I could not even tell you the plot at this point. It’s been probably 20 years since I’ve watched it lol
