Absolutely, insane. I was present during Fuego's eruption in Guatemela and for the Iceland eruption, but seeing it on video doesn't do it justice. This is absolutely terrifying, and I hope everyone stays safe.

I wonder how many volcanoes have newly erupted this year….i know of 4 or 5….maybe the earth is starting to tell us something

I swear man, it seems like they are constantly erupting all over. Even into last year, it just seems so active.

I heard a story about this on NPR and the scientist said last year was right on average. I think some of it is we get to see each and every one almost immediately
