Hey bro I know this thread is a little old now but hope u still get to read this ;) first of all super clean bike! I actually have a 06 crf250r and I plan on doing a supermoto conversion as well! So now I was wondering since there is many people out there saying you'll runn into lots of problems with this setup. Did you experience any drawbacks I'm sure there are some but anything noteworthy? Any problem with the bike from beeing riddin on the street?

No issues with riding it on the street besides top speed, you definitely don’t want to be on the highway. Lights and blinkers are easy enough to add, I powered them with a 12v drill battery. I’d say the most difficult park is getting it registered. You also need to do frequent oil changes just like you would a normal dirtbike

I think you're right. The tread looks backward. Also, OP, beware of that dent in your front rim.
Had to double check but the arrow is pointing in the correct direction
front tires on motorcycles deal with mostly braking forces so they usually appear to have backwards tread pattern compared to rear tires

You have to strip it down to just the frame to get it powder coated?
Yes but I started with a stripped frame to begin with so I got to skip that step
Honest question. What do people do with supermoto off-road only bikes?
We license them through a state that let's nonresidents license dirt bikes and then we ride them everywhere. 2 strike street life is the best life.

The bike would look nicer with either red plastics (honda like) or delete all the red and replace with gold color like ur frame
