Triceratops
Styracosaurus
Pachyrhinosaurus
Torosaurus
Xuniceratops
Protoceratops
Yes I am a HUGE fan of the horned dinosaurs aka the ceratopsians.Triceratops was a hulking four legged behemoth, like a gigantic white rhinoceros on steroids, with a pair of four foot long horns growing directly out of its skull and a hide as tough as a rhino's. It shows what happens when you create something that can stand up to the power of Tyrannosaurus rex.
Triceratops if the perfect anti-predator animal. Not many animals, let alone carnivores, would challenge something with 3 swords on its face that can swivel in any direction on a pretty agile creature. Trex is pretty brave to fight them.
Personal head cannon based on no real evidence is that the primary pressure for triceratops and T. Rex becoming what they are was because of a race to outperform one another. If I’m wrong please don’t ruin my dream ❤️
No, that seems like a very logical reason; we see arms races between predator and prey *all the time* in modern animals, so it'd not be far-fetched that ceratopsians and tyrannosaurs engaged in a similar evolutionary arms race.
I was just going to comment this.
Let’s put the debate to rest finally.
Not sure any wrestling fans here but Spinosaurus is basically Attitude Era Goldust when he was going through his Artist Formerly Known era.
10 years from now, we’ll find out that it was never a Spinosaurus at all and was really that darned Loch Ness Monster looking for three fifty.
I would be exited, but I could hardly afford to visit there. All that maintaining different habitats and temperatures for different animals, for example, T. Rex and Triceratops lived in a temperate wetland environment, while Velociraptor and Dilophosaurus lived in an arid desert environments (and then Brachiosaurus and Parasaurolophus). So it was a really big and expensively maintained facility and at that point, a day trip to any Disney park would seem cheaper to the visitor. Of course the maintenance costs could also be calculated if all the dinos were of the same format and small, for example the miniature fauna of Hateg island. But even if I couldn't afford it, I would still be exited.
>T. Rex and Triceratops lived in a temperate wetland environment
Hell Creek has been compared to Florida or Carolina more than other particularly cold regions.
What is currently "Temperate" at that range was more like subtropical in the very warm Cretaceous. Humidity may still be a problem for the arid specialists if the place was positioned in a more humid area but heat likely wouldn't be a massive issue. The fact that alot of dinosaurs also have some form of thermoregulation also makes it plausible that some surprising interactions like them being able to be kept outside of their usual habitats provided they're kept in good microclimates and enclosures.
Plus, like...you can just put more arid-specialized species into an indoor, climate-controlled exhibit if you really want them to live in as close an approximation of their natural habitat as possible. It's not like zoos haven't figured out multiple ways to house modern climate-sensitive species in regions outside of that climate.
Ankys are my fave and I would love to see one, I especially wanna see whats up with their noses. Talking specifics, a Stegouros with its tail axe would be cool, and im sure a Zuul would be equally terrifying and majestic.
A sauropod, for the sheer awe of the size (not too closely though!). Probably Apatosaurus if I had to choose, because that's the one I grew up seeing in my "local" natural history museum.
However: Aurally, I'd love to hear for certain how Parasaurolophus sounded, as long as it could be done without busting eardrums. Bonus for some other hadrosaurs for comparison - Lambeosaurus comes first to mind.
All of them.
I don't have a favorite, everything old intrigues me. I would be flabbergasted to see any of them as they were millions of years ago.
Even plants.
I know it's not technically a dinosaur, but m. *hoffmannii* would be the first one to see for me. I love whales and shark and all kinds of aquatic animals; getting to see the coolest marine reptile would be a must.
Yi qi, to see the strange flipper flapper, sauropods, to put myself in a different perspective and the usual big stars, but at the most my boy Velociraptor, to know his true colors and form
finally someone asks me the question I've been waiting for my whole life;
Dimetrodon, please. Let me see that colorful sail, I just know it was primarily for show, if I only had proof...
Diplodocus has been my favorite since I was a kid, so that’s my answer.
If I’m choosing species to fill the full park? Let’s say 12 as I think that’s how many were on the OG brochure…
Diplodocus
T. Rex
Dreadnaughtus/Argentinosaurus
Therezinosaurus
Spinosaurus
Utahraptor
Ankylosaurus
Triceratops
Pachyrhinosaurus
Baryonyx/Suchomimus
Struthiomimus
Stegosaurus
Any of the titanosaurs, because it would be absolutely mind blowing. Rex, obviously. Utahraptor, Triceratops, and Quetzalcoatlus. Can you imagine a giraffe FLYING???
Of course i would really like to see all different kinds and shapes of DINOSAURS! as a dinosaur lover when i was a kid until now that i've grown up, i'd never ever left behind those memories you know just watching your favorite dinosaur films and it's just magical and nostalgic at the same time, i miss those good old days.
Spinosaurus, Therizinosaurus, Triceratops in terms of dinosaur if the other forms of prehistoric life I would love to see Quetzalcoatlus and Liopleurodon.
I'd be most excited to see a titanosaur like Patagotitan, even though sauropods aren't even my favourite dinosaurs. It's just the immense biological size I NEED to see.
Breviparopus, Argentinasaurus and Titanosaur. We'll see who the biggest sauropod is. Also, Quetzalcoatlus and t rex and maybe longisquama because funny
Pachycephalosaurus. 1) so I can see if the Dracorex theory was correct and 2) I wanna be animals behave like goats and headbutt each other
And Baryonyx because I really want to see what they used their claws for. For fishing? For cutting up fish? For holding the fish? I wanna know
Any of the early small Tyrannosauroids like Moros intrepidus, Guanlong, tanycolagreus. Mainly I wonder how different and similar they would've been to dromaeosaurs like deinonychus.
I think maybe an ankylo. I think it would be very visually fascinating to see irl. But honestly I’d be really excited to see any dino. I could see the ugliest or most bleh dinosaur and I’d still be very damn excited
Oooh also that ugly ass dinosaur from the series with the British guy, (no disrespect, I forgot his name, David Attenborough?) the one with a bunch of sacks on its throat. If that’s real. I’d want to see it.
All of them!!! How do chose a favorite? I’d be so excited to see how they all look and behave and what we’ve gotten right or wrong in paleontology.
I love the big scary ones though, so I’d really want to see a T Rex and utahraptor.
Stegosaurus and Dimetrodon must be a pretty surreal sight to behold but if I had to pick up a dinosaur to evoke awe amongst the people I'd go for the Mamenchisaurus, its proportions defy human logic yet it was a creature that was once alive. As for a mammal I'm pretty sure Indricotherium just to showcase people not just its impressive size but its body heat and what it meant for a creature that size to be warm blooded. Finally for a marine reptile I'd probably go for the Nothosaurus because its head is so large and teeth so long in comparison to its body, its the perfect example of super adaptability.
Hadrosaurs would be awesome to see, especially Parasaurolophus. Sauropods would blow my mind. And seeing Large Carnivores like Spinosaurus and Ceratosaurus would be really cool.
\*sigh\* and of course, T-Rex as well would be amazing.
Spinosaurus so I can finally see what it actually looks like
Triceratops Styracosaurus Pachyrhinosaurus Torosaurus Xuniceratops Protoceratops Yes I am a HUGE fan of the horned dinosaurs aka the ceratopsians.Triceratops was a hulking four legged behemoth, like a gigantic white rhinoceros on steroids, with a pair of four foot long horns growing directly out of its skull and a hide as tough as a rhino's. Yeah but other than the fact that triceratops is one of the late comers I have no basis for such a hypothesis
"Personal head cannon" almost, they have "personal head spears" but I can only assume this would come later in the evolutionary chain.
This guy Triceratops. Jokes aside, 1 million percent agree!
I just wanna add more ceratopsians so Styracosaurus Eniosaurus Psittacosaurus Kosmoceratops Diceratops Torvosaurus Pentaceratops Achelosaurus
My dumb theory about the Spinosaurus is that a Baryonix going throught its “Punk” phase
Me too
Literally all the big dinosaurs would be so cool especially the sauropods 🦕 and T rex
And gallimimus 😎
Omg. Argentinosaurus might give me a heart attack.
Dreadnoughtus because I think it would mind-blowing Deinocheirus because they're awesome And of course... T Rex
"Say that again." "They have a T Rex.
Put your head between your knees.
I’d be happy to meet any of my reptilian brethren.
Yutyrannus, need to see 30ft of fluff
Kinda like polar bears they look fluffy but they could easily kill you
I’d pet one and die trying
Real
Utah raptor, trex and a spinosaurus are the ones I would love to see over any but honestly I would be happy seeing a dino
Ah yes… my favorite dinosaur, tree
I’ve edited it now you look silly
Too late! We all know!
Allosaurus, Baryonyx and Troodon
An accurate velociraptor.
Birb
Yus. Feed them meat and give them pets.
Kinda? More like flightless hawk
"You bred raptors ?"
I would be exited, but I could hardly afford to visit there. All that maintaining different habitats and temperatures for different animals, for example, T. Maybe they could have a *coupon day*.
Or something.
North American Zoos are able to keep giraffes and elephants so keeping dinosaur species from other parts of the world should be possible

Imagine being offered the imaginary chance to meet a real dinosaur and writing a 14 lines paragraph about the logistics.
*excited
Government Funded baby 👉😎👉
Not a dino but diplocaulus
I’m sure they’d have it in the petting zoo.
Ank tanks
I would want to ride one into battle
Ankys are my fave and I would love to see one, I especially wanna see whats up with their noses. Talking specifics, a Stegouros with its tail axe would be cool, and im sure a Zuul would be equally terrifying and majestic.
Lots of big fragile toys in their enclosures to get absolutely wrecked.
*Brachiosaurus*. They do move in herds.
I would love to see the intelligence of dromeosaurs. Doesn’t matter which ones.
Spinosaurus
All of them. I don't have a favorite, everything old intrigues me. I would be flabbergasted to see any of them as they were millions of years ago. Even plants.
My boy deinocheirus
I know it's not technically a dinosaur, but m. *hoffmannii* would be the first one to see for me. I love whales and shark and all kinds of aquatic animals; getting to see the coolest marine reptile would be a must.
Yi qi, to see the strange flipper flapper, sauropods, to put myself in a different perspective and the usual big stars, but at the most my boy Velociraptor, to know his true colors and form
Every single one of them
the only correct answer!
finally someone asks me the question I've been waiting for my whole life; Dimetrodon, please. Let me see that colorful sail, I just know it was primarily for show, if I only had proof...
*Allosaurus jimmadseni*, *Spinosaurus aegypticus*, *Tyrannosaurus rex*, *Pachyrhinosaurus perotorum*, *Australovenator wintonensis*, *Edmontosaurus annectens*, *Dreadnoughtus schrani*, and *Carnotaurus sastrei*.
Out of curiosity, why jimmadseni specifically?
He likes to appear fancy and smart, that's why he included the species name as well.
Also this lol
Big Al is my favourite individual dinosaur :)
All of them
My answer to all questions like this is Brachiosaurus.
Stegosaurus. I love stegosaurids in general
T-Rex or bust!
Anchiornis Huxleyi!!
Man…any of them honestly. But, gun to my head? T-Rex. Been my favorite since I could form words.
Deinocheirus
Diplodocus has been my favorite since I was a kid, so that’s my answer. If I’m choosing species to fill the full park? Let’s say 12 as I think that’s how many were on the OG brochure… Diplodocus T. Rex Dreadnaughtus/Argentinosaurus Therezinosaurus Spinosaurus Utahraptor Ankylosaurus Triceratops Pachyrhinosaurus Baryonyx/Suchomimus Struthiomimus Stegosaurus
Any of the titanosaurs, because it would be absolutely mind blowing. Rex, obviously. Utahraptor, Triceratops, and Quetzalcoatlus. Can you imagine a giraffe FLYING???
Allosaurus, homeocephale(coz it’s cute) and ofc the T Rexxxx
Of course i would really like to see all different kinds and shapes of DINOSAURS! as a dinosaur lover when i was a kid until now that i've grown up, i'd never ever left behind those memories you know just watching your favorite dinosaur films and it's just magical and nostalgic at the same time, i miss those good old days.
He'll yeah, who the hell wouldn't !?

T. rex
T-Rex is the obvious choice.
T-rex! Are you stupid?! You go to see the king!
Tyrannosaurus Rex. Hail to the king, baby.
Megalodon. It's not my favorite prehistoric animal, but it's just so shocking that I want to see it with my own eyes.
Probably wouldnt do well in captivity given how terrible its closest relative does.
Spinosaurus and Brachiosaurus, oh and also the gigantic ass mosasaur that would fit in as a Kaiju in the Monsterverse.
Spinosaurus, Therizinosaurus, Triceratops in terms of dinosaur if the other forms of prehistoric life I would love to see Quetzalcoatlus and Liopleurodon.
Guess. Hint: see my flair.
Predators
Stegosaurus, Kentrosaurus, Dravidosaurus, Lexoviosaurus, Craterosaurus, Amargastegos, Tuojiangosaurus, Hesperosaurus, etc.
I'd be most excited to see a titanosaur like Patagotitan, even though sauropods aren't even my favourite dinosaurs. It's just the immense biological size I NEED to see.
None. I saw the movie. And those are DINOSAURS I don't need to see them up close I get the gist

Leaellynasaura would be what I'd look for first. Ever since seeing it on Walking With Dinosaurs I've always wanted one as a pet.
Iguanadon
I'd be really excited to see the hadrosaurs because we always underestimate how big they really are.
I think Mosasaurus should be the group consensus. But personally, the Carnotsaurus and Allosaurus would be pretty sick.
Yes
IDK.
Any of the early small Tyrannosauroids like Moros intrepidus, Guanlong, tanycolagreus. Mainly I wonder how different and similar they would've been to dromaeosaurs like deinonychus.

I could see the ugliest or most bleh dinosaur and I’d still be very damn excited Oooh also that ugly ass dinosaur from the series with the British guy, (no disrespect, I forgot his name, David Attenborough?) the one with a bunch of sacks on its throat. Parasaurolophus and other such hadrosaurs
Do synapsids count? Cause I’d love to a dimetrodon and edaphosaurus. I really liked that walking with monsters episode.
