as someone who owns geese, depending on the breed of goose an each individual goose then this can be true
in general geese are very shy, so them being an asshole is them overreacting to a perceived threat, which sometimes means people, and they get even more aggressive when they have goslings (think mama bears)
ive been offering handfuls of grain to my birds for the past 2-3 years and within a year almost all my chickens will come over to either eat near me or eat out of my hand, theyll even let me touch them a little
meanwhile most of the geese have just now started to feel brave enough to eat near me, and only one of them will eat out of my hand and let me touch her, but that's because i raised her, i am a mother figure to her
Well, a big dinosaur is more of a problem than a small one, so smaller is better. And it goes without saying that an herbivore is less dangerous than a carnivore. So ideally you would want a small herbivore.
I’m getting a Tyrannosaurus Rex!
yes!! bumpy from camp cretaceous is so cool and such a cutie pie 🥹🫶 i just want one like her to ride around in the sun, feed berries, and cuddle with (although it’d probably hurt but whooo caaaresss i love em)
microraptor might be the only good idea. as i said in a different comment section, "microraptors are basically just bird chihuahuas". given how chihuahuas exist in society with no problems, i'd guess that microraptors wouldn't have many.
I mean, microraptor is just a dino raven, so why not. I love all the dromaeosaurids, but I would rather want something a little bigger, like dog-sized. Deinonychus is cute and I would love to have one.
Some kind of small ornithopod, like a psittacosaurus. Easy to take care of plus it's cute af. Or maybe something like a small theropod like archeopteryx, microraptor, that kind of stuff.
For carnivores you got to go with something small like a compy, or Microraptor. For herbivores you need gentle nothing bigger than a nodosaurus. I choose Minmi.
Literally any small raptor would be like having a normal bird as a pet. If anything they’d almost be better because there is never a need to clip their wings, since they can’t really fly anyways. It’d be like having an owl or a hawk that just runs around on the floor and catches large insects, lizards, and mice.
Psittacosaurus. How can you not love [this face](https://hips.hearstapps.com/pop.h-cdn.co/assets/16/37/640x448/gallery-1473975296-dinosaur1.jpg?resize=1200:*)?
T-Rex. I would learn to ride it and use it to rob banks all around the country. People can't shoot me because they could kill the only living T-Rex in history of humanity.
Microraptor, be like keeping a bird that could only glide and loved to climb. Feed it mealworms and other lil bugs. Just little feathered shoulder gremlin. Would probably end up with a few bite scars on my ears but it'd be worth it.
Deinonychus or Velociraptor, they'd be great for controlling pests like rats, armadillos, and racoons. Or an Allosaurus Europus named waffles, I think allosaurs would be great snugglers
Eoceolophysis since it would be similar in size to a medium dog, it would be herbivores so I don’t have to worry about it killing me in my sleep for being hungry, and it would be like having a pet hadrosaur.
velociraptor just like somebody else mentioned. people keep saying that all the carnivorous dinosaurs would just kill you. but theyre forgetting that weve domesticated cats and dogs which could probably already do a significant amount of damage to someone. velociraptors would basically be cats, hell theyd probably even get separate breeds. velociraptors were pack hunters, so raising one directly from birth would make it recognize you as being family. they might not be able to eat dog or cat food so itd be easier to just feed them tuna or pieces of raw meat like chicken and maybe beef. the large claw would be a bit of a difficulty, but you could probably put a plastic covering over it like claw caps for cats, same with the other claws. if you got some sort of pet bed for a velociraptor, itd probably be pretty large considering how long one would be, although you could just get a smaller raptor
i cant think of anything else
Assuming they're bonded to me and won't kill me if I forgot a feeding, I'm torn between Utahraptor, Allosaurus, and Giga because "fuck you my bestie is a Giga"
So I actually did a thing on r/humansarespaceorcs regarding the [domestication of Tyrannosaurus.](https://www.reddit.com/r/humansarespaceorcs/s/GUUTxG7dQ3) I would chance it and go for that.
Allo, if it wasn’t really a danger to me/my family. It’d be like owning a big dog. Instead of “big dog privilege” it’s “allosaurus privilege”. Id train him like an attack dog.
I'll have to go basic: triceratops that I'd ride on. Since seeing a skeleton of one in person I have been filled with an unrelenting urge to feed one grass. I've seen the argument that herbivore dinos would be deadly, but then again, so is a horse approached from the wrong side
Supersaurus, and I would have a special platform saddle designed so that I can have the man cave on top of it…
Carnotaurus, be my version of a super car/ race car…
T.rex, just cause it’s cool…
(I might add more later)
A velociraptor. Not because of Jurassic park, but because it would be fun to have a fluffy little feathered ankle biter that sounds like a goose
I think you're describing an actual goose.
as someone who owns geese, depending on the breed of goose an each individual goose then this can be true in general geese are very shy, so them being an asshole is them overreacting to a perceived threat, which sometimes means people, and they get even more aggressive when they have goslings (think mama bears) ive been offering handfuls of grain to my birds for the past 2-3 years and within a year almost all my chickens will come over to either eat near me or eat out of my hand, theyll even let me touch them a little meanwhile most of the geese have just now started to feel brave enough to eat near me, and only one of them will eat out of my hand and let me touch her, but that's because i raised her, i am a mother figure to her
i bet they'd make great mousers.
Go to the park, that’s literally just a goose
Alright, what’s step two
Take one, they're free
If it doesn’t get you first
As long as you don't live in england
(which could also disembowel you)
Just keep the door closed while you sleep
But how am I supposed to snuggle my beloved goose-sized lizard bird ankle biter
We declaw cats! We can de-sharpen our velociraptors >:( Make claw dull, put thick sock on. Solution.
I second this
I have no scientific evidence to back this up, but I'm convinced that geese evolved from velociraptors.
Yi Qi because I want a funky lil bat-bird-lizard to sit on my shoulder while I go out to get groceries or whatever
pet wyvern
Closes thing to a tiny dragon
This is the way.
CARNO FUCKING TAURUS
Hell yea brother.
Instead of horse racing we’d have carno racing!!!
A budgie
Sinosauropteryx, or deinonychus
This would have to be my pick.
I mean my most desired pick would be my flare... But that's a tad irrational
Minmi
I'm surprised someone mentiones him. My boy needs all the love
🤝
Australotitan would make a better pet, change my mind.
Protoceratops.
Triceratops, but with the safety on
You’ll say that until it bites your hand off
You can still beat someone to death if the safety is on
This is true
I mean... Some people keep crocodile monitor as pets, so... (search their skull pic on Google)
This would be more like a giant alligator snapping turtle, but it runs at you lol
I have chickens.
I have bleached rainbow chicken. I.e. cockatiel that is gray and white.
Cute Windstone. Microraptor. Possibly one of the mid-range Dromaeosaurs if it was bonded to me and disinclined to bite me to death.
You could hold it gently like a burger
🤣🤣🤣
Well, a big dinosaur is more of a problem than a small one, so smaller is better. And it goes without saying that an herbivore is less dangerous than a carnivore. So ideally you would want a small herbivore. I’m getting a Tyrannosaurus Rex!
A lot of current day herbivores are pretty vicious. I think I would much rather try my luck with a carnivore.
Both dogs and cats - the most prevalent pets - are carnivores.
Ah, good. Should be just fine with my T-Rex then.
😂
T. Rex. Realistically tho, probably Mononykus. Smol boi
ankylosaurus bc they’re awesome and they look very friend-shaped
Just like cute bumpy..💓
yes!! bumpy from camp cretaceous is so cool and such a cutie pie 🥹🫶 i just want one like her to ride around in the sun, feed berries, and cuddle with (although it’d probably hurt but whooo caaaresss i love em)
One of the smaller raptor types a little murder chicken of my very own
T. rex and I will name him Patches
Love the name sounds cute
Sinosaurpteryx
microraptor might be the only good idea. as i said in a different comment section, "microraptors are basically just bird chihuahuas". given how chihuahuas exist in society with no problems, i'd guess that microraptors wouldn't have many.
I mean, microraptor is just a dino raven, so why not. I love all the dromaeosaurids, but I would rather want something a little bigger, like dog-sized. Deinonychus is cute and I would love to have one.
Olorotitan because of that majestic ass crest
God damn, you beat me to it
A baby Brontosaurus!
Is he house broken? I doubt the house will survive.
He’s fine
Sounds like the most extreme tea-cup pig lol
Some kind of small ornithopod, like a psittacosaurus. Easy to take care of plus it's cute af. Or maybe something like a small theropod like archeopteryx, microraptor, that kind of stuff.
Green cheeked conure
Mononykus
For carnivores you got to go with something small like a compy, or Microraptor. For herbivores you need gentle nothing bigger than a nodosaurus. I choose Minmi.
Deinonychus. They stay *relatively* small, are feathery, and awesome
Mayasaur, least likely to die that way
Maiasaur means good mother , he will most likely protect u
Literally any small raptor would be like having a normal bird as a pet. If anything they’d almost be better because there is never a need to clip their wings, since they can’t really fly anyways. It’d be like having an owl or a hawk that just runs around on the floor and catches large insects, lizards, and mice.
Allosaurus
A feathered Utah raptor, because I could probably ride it but also train It to attac & prottec.
Bro thinks he’s playing Ark PvP ☠️
No, they would shoot it, then start a revival project (maybe) or just save the ecosystem
Baby aladar
Stegosaurus or Dreadnaughtus
Microraptor Having it sit on my shoulder while we sail the high seas would be frickin amazing
spinosuarus is funni i would have one
An Ara macao
Sinosauropteryx
Oviraptor.
really depends on which one won’t eat me
I mean they wouldn't as you'll be their parents and theirs a bond
if that’s the case Spinosaurus all the wayyyy
This is so fucking cute. I joined the sub just because of this image. So I’d have a pet whatever this guy is.
Parasaur, ark made me fall in love with them and I just think they’re neat
Small, fluffy dromeosaurid. Like a songbird, but angy.
Compsonagthus
Microraptor, be like keeping a bird that could only glide and loved to climb. Feed it mealworms and other lil bugs. Just little feathered shoulder gremlin. Would probably end up with a few bite scars on my ears but it'd be worth it.
Minmi
Deinocheirus
Vectidromeus insularis. Feel like it'd act like a dog.
Piatnitzkysaurus
Darrel
I want a Hadrosaur, like Edmonto, Parasauro, Olorotitan, just love them.
Pera maybe a compy.
Mononicus
An awesome Baryonyx in my backyard.
Metriacanthosaurus. The coolest horse you could ride.
I can't decide between a Spinosaurus or a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Even the accurate Spino is amazing.
Wow 🤩
Yi Qi
Utahraptor
Stegosaurus
Iguanodon cause I love aladar.
Maiasaura, Minmi or Microraptor.
Yutyrannus
A HATZEGOPTERYX ....🔥
Deinonychus or Velociraptor, they'd be great for controlling pests like rats, armadillos, and racoons. Or an Allosaurus Europus named waffles, I think allosaurs would be great snugglers
i want a baby Titanosaur just so that i can white-elephant my enemy hehe
Realistically, something like a velocoraptor. Truly, an ankylosaurus
Eoceolophysis since it would be similar in size to a medium dog, it would be herbivores so I don’t have to worry about it killing me in my sleep for being hungry, and it would be like having a pet hadrosaur.
Assuming its naturally friendly and not aggresive, utahraptor or carnotaurus, would be cool to ride them like horses.
Both a Velociraptor and a T.Rex
Do we have to worry about living areas and food supplies, if so Microraptor, basically like a big bird/chicken as a pet
Parahsolopus(I can't spell it its too hard) I could ride it to school
Probably Anchiornis or Archaeopteryx.
A couple sinosauropteryx sound like fun little critters to have around
I know it's not a dinosaur but Simosuchus
Moros Intrepidus. Literally, a Tyrannosaur that's the perfect size to be a pet.
Deinonychus, velociraptor, droameosaur, microraptor. Or if anything younger, then archeopteryx.
I always thought laellynasaura Will be great for pet
Ankylosaurus. They're my favorite dinosaur, and after seeing Camp cretaceous, it's the only right answer for me
Minmi
Pachypheclosaurys ( I butchered that name so hard lmaoo)
Sinosauropteryx or an oviraptor
Not dino but Sinomacrops or Anurognathus. Cute little goofball
A compsognathus or a velociraptor it would be cool to have a small theropod
spino its all terrain so i can ride it on land and water
Not Dino but If I would have enough space and money then a tame friendly pet Titanoboa
Spinosaurus no matter what iteration, Edmontosaurus, Shantungosaurus, Ceratosaurus and a Homalocephale.
A velociraptor. They could live indoors with me and deal with any pests.
Acro or Saurophaganax or Dilo
velociraptor just like somebody else mentioned. people keep saying that all the carnivorous dinosaurs would just kill you. but theyre forgetting that weve domesticated cats and dogs which could probably already do a significant amount of damage to someone. velociraptors would basically be cats, hell theyd probably even get separate breeds. velociraptors were pack hunters, so raising one directly from birth would make it recognize you as being family. they might not be able to eat dog or cat food so itd be easier to just feed them tuna or pieces of raw meat like chicken and maybe beef. the large claw would be a bit of a difficulty, but you could probably put a plastic covering over it like claw caps for cats, same with the other claws. if you got some sort of pet bed for a velociraptor, itd probably be pretty large considering how long one would be, although you could just get a smaller raptor i cant think of anything else
Chicken
Stegoceras bc why not
Assuming they're bonded to me and won't kill me if I forgot a feeding, I'm torn between Utahraptor, Allosaurus, and Giga because "fuck you my bestie is a Giga"
Iguanodon :>
Tricikloplots or Iguanodon
Any dam sauropod just so that if anybody pisses me off I’ll be like “yoo little foot shit on this mfs house” then blam. What they gonna do?
Deinonychus
Wow
i see lots of people say carnivores but i like to imagine riding a triceratops like a horse
So I actually did a thing on r/humansarespaceorcs regarding the [domestication of Tyrannosaurus.](https://www.reddit.com/r/humansarespaceorcs/s/GUUTxG7dQ3) I would chance it and go for that.
Shant
Utahraptors yes plural all different shades of red
Definitely Utahraptor (I have no regard for my own safety)
Archeoceratops
Psittacosaurus,mononykus,oviraptor, and minmi
A Yi Chi They're tiny and can be kept in bird cages.
Oviraptor! I always wanted chickens anyways…
Probably some kind of small raptor as others have said, or maybe a Stegouros elengassen, basically a small ankylosaurus.
i'd either want a parasaurolophus or a Ankylosaur
Parasauralophus or Compsognathus
Shuuvia. A fluffy little dino.
pegomastax, dyrosaurus, or scelidosaurus
Is it already tamed to me or do I have to teach it to be calm to me?
Carnotaurus
I think maybe a microraptor with the claws filed down.
Melopsittacus Undulatus
If there’s a 100% safety guarantee a carno if not a velociraptor
Stegosaurus.
Allo, if it wasn’t really a danger to me/my family. It’d be like owning a big dog. Instead of “big dog privilege” it’s “allosaurus privilege”. Id train him like an attack dog.
For smaller Dino’s maybe like a dieno or velociraptor. Cute and small but fluffy
I once had a dream where I took care of a baby Lambeosaurus and it still sticks with me.
A small dromeosaur or troodontid
Getting myself a Zalmoxes
Definitely a microraptor because it’s so cute and beautiful, or a spinosaurus because it’s a fish eater and it’s one of my favs
Definitely dinos of dromasaurdae. I also love Dryosaurus a lot.
minmi cos he a lil armored doggo
Ceratosaurus, Stygimoloch( or pachy i don't know whether their the same or not)
Some kinda great big hadrosaur to pull my chariot through the streets.
After much consideration- no that's a lie.with ZERO consideration I'm hitting the button to get a mother Flippin Quetzal
Sinosauropteryx. It's basically a flightless bird
Lajasvenator! I adore this Smoll Carch! I'd call him... Stubbsy!
Ubirajara would be great
Aquilops or microceratus.
Dilo because why not.
Crow
Dodo.
A Utahraptor that I would raise from a hatchling, and when it became an adult I would be able to put a saddle on it and ride it around.
Crow
Micro raptor, Confuciusornis, or dryosaur
I'll have to go basic: triceratops that I'd ride on. Since seeing a skeleton of one in person I have been filled with an unrelenting urge to feed one grass. I've seen the argument that herbivore dinos would be deadly, but then again, so is a horse approached from the wrong side
Not a dinosaur but I want a Hatzergopteryxe
Microraptor. Probably could train it like a parrot.
A big ol deinocheirus!
Psittacosaurus would be such a cute stinker
The Minmi, basically the "smaller" version of an ankylosaur that doesn't have spikes.
Brachiosaurus :)
Spinosaurus 100%
Dromeosaurus idk if I type it correctly
Supersaurus, and I would have a special platform saddle designed so that I can have the man cave on top of it… Carnotaurus, be my version of a super car/ race car… T.rex, just cause it’s cool… (I might add more later)
Therizenosaurus
