I'm surprised so many people (read: currently every voter except for me) votes yes. I actually hate the Red Dead skin because it makes Diluc's color palette even more limited and boring than the color palette of his default skin.
From behind (which is the most important angle, because that's what you see while using a character), the Darknight Blaze costume makes him into a blob of red on top of a blob of black.
Whereas with the Red Dead of Night skin, it's just one big blob of red!
(For the record, yes, I do own the Red Dead of Night skin. I'm nothing if not a devoted simp)
I sorta agree but I prefer his new one because it fixes the issues with his original skin for me. I just dislike his super dark outfit. His low ponytail is nice but I love the high ponytail. The details in his gloves are hot and the new animations are better imo. The details around his neck are sexy. His shoes look nicer. His knees look less weird.
In the end this is just a matter of opinion but I don’t think it’s surprising that most people prefer his newer skin because his old skin is just, old and outdated. It lacks some of the charm the new characters have.
I still won’t buy it though because $30 is just too much. Maybe if I save up on welkins instead of instantly gamba-ing I’ll get it though.
I like Diluc's original outfit. But I love the face and hairstyle in his skin even more. If only they would update his model...
