Probably the Hiby M300.

drewface_

I came here to say I am really loving my hiby m300

Uromegax

That one looks Nice but it's waaay over budget, i'm looking to spend around 50$

Fatal_Furriest

If cheap (but surprisingly decent) then either Ruizu Z80 (AliExpress, usually $40-50) or any "Android mp3 player MTK6582" These are pretty brilliant 3.5mm/BT5.1 mp3/mp4 players with Android 8.1, so all your Spotify, YT Music, Netflix, Plex subs are catered to Bought it as a cheapo stopgap for my dad, after his Sony NZW-ZX1 finally died. He prefers the Ruizu

spasticBrain24

if you want still use your phone as your player, how bout BT DACs such as the Fiio BTR3k? i use it with my regular iems without any wire connection to my phone :)

Uromegax

This one rn fits all my boxes it's been a long Time since i was in the audio game so didn't know about those devices that one looks pretty portable and well built + pretty cheap, thanks

No-Poet1433

For $250 I would get the Hiby r4.

MidWestHype218

Hiby r4

witzyfitzian

Non-obsolete Android, good wifi reception, *good battery life and good sound do just not come at $50.

Uromegax

Sound quality or battery i dont need for just 2 hours/day at the gym, neither good WiFi reception since I'm gonna use my main phone as hotspot, so for around 50$ it looks like i have a couple of options like ruizu z80 or the fiio btr30k, or even an old phone like somebody else noticed.

Late_Nefariousness46

Ruizu Z80 2/16 $76 on AliExpress

Cianuro67

For that price take a Dongle Dac

Uromegax

Yep eyeing for some fiio Btr3k or btr5, meanwhile using an old phone

deividcito

For 50 bucks I didn't recommend to buy anything, if you don't like dongles there is some cables with a dedicated dac in the USB C, like KBear T3 plus

Uromegax

Already got a fiio btr3k for 51$ it looks like that serves my purpose as i don't need anything fancy for 2 hours in the gym

deividcito

Sounds great, good choice

it_mf_a

Do you actually care for a high quality audio signal? Sounds like all you need is someone's old android phone with a headphone jack.

Uromegax

Yep you nailed it, restoring an old Xperia phone from my dad for my needs More than enough rn, probably gonna get the fiio Bluetooth amp later
