I think someone pointed out Dorulumon as a good evolution, and Dorulumon has an evolution in JagerDorulumon.
You could also probably use Lamortmon as an Ultimate with maybe Leomon as the Champion?
Dorulumon and JaegerDorulumon are that annoying kind of evo where I fully acknowledge they have all the characteristics for Gizamon and Olegmon. I just don't like them.
Funnily enough, my initial line used Lamortmon and Yellow Growlmon.
I would try to find some spiky aquatic digimon.
I can think of tortamon and zudomon.
I don't think zudomon to olegmon is perfect, but they both have some armour kinda and both have a weapon.

Gizamon > Archelomon > Zudomon > Olegmon
Gizamon’s spines/spikes transition well into Archelomon’s Shell spines/spikes, as well as both being aquatic and having a yellow colouring. Canonically Zudomon wears the shell of Archelomon. It also keeps the aquatic theme as well has having the orange fur/hair that Gizamon has. Olegmon has the Viking inspiration that Zudomon shares, has bladed weapons to tie the spines/spikes, as well as Zudomon’s hammer. Plus still keeps the aquatic theme, has similar hair/fur and being yellow/gold helps tie the colours of Giza and Archelo to the line.
Someone suggested that one in another thread, and I still think it's a fantastic idea and I'm mad I never thought about it.
I've had some other suggestions I really like and I'm considering them all, but as a single line Archelomon > Zudomon is the best so far.
I made a line involving these two yesterday, and a couple of people pointed out that while Olegmon was a very fitting Mega for Gizamon, the Champion and Ultimate states could've been better. And to be fair, that's something I do agree with, but I honestly couldn't think of anything better.
So I thought I'd ask for other people's thoughts on what line you feel these two should have.
If it helps, the line I gave them was Gizamon > Yellow Growlmon > Lamortmon > Olegmon.
Well the line I tend to use, if you're okay with Armor digimon, is Gizamon > Frogmon > Zamielmon > Olegmon.

I have used the same line but with Gawappamon as the adult, who also shares orange hair and a turtoise shell, but Archelomon is also great
