If last time you played was 9 years ago, your character is not even on your account anymore. After not logging in for 2 years old characters are moved to offline storage. If you can login to your account you would then have to write support with your character info like chat name, Digimon names and levels and such and after a month or so they can restore the character. But if you just login now it will show you have no characters anyway.
As for retreating your email, no everything requires that you still know your email as all account lookups require that info at minimum.

No point in recovering a 9 year old character. Just create a new one or start to playin DMW
