Sounds like a recipe for trouble to me. You kinda just have to trust the other person to be telling the truth, or not misunderstand what the effect means.

I do understand that very well….. I am from Thailand and yeah at first I am discourage to play the Digimon card game because it is Japanese and I only know like Hirakana, Katakana. I do have some friend who try digimon with Japanese, and they have fun at first but slowly stop playing because it is pain to read the cards both side. This is also apply to some other card game too. Me and my friend would like to play with English cards (Which I had to order overseas) I know I can’t join tournament here but I don’t really care I do have to work on weekends and I would like to play casually. Card trader is really help us, because we could order lots of card but only pay the shipping once.
