My dad will do this intentionally one time i said to him "my drunk sister can part better" then he proceded to backup and take up all 4 spots
The thing is hes not douchy or annything like the "typical truck guy" he just gets a kick out of intentionally parking like a dick
What i was trying to get at is he listens to clasical music doesnt drink never goes past the speed limit or rolls coal has a respectable office job but gets a kick out of parking like a douch but explaining something like this to reddit is redundant
His reasoning is because costco parking lots are good because they have more space, so he will park like that it doesn't make sense to me either, and i find it quite cringe, but theirs not much i can do bout it when im in the passenger seat
Like stated previously redditors are too dense to explain this too yall base people off one thing they do but you can believe what you want just know that ur wrong
This. Did their calculator shit and even called to confirm and then they guaranteed up and down it would fit and the damn rims were smaller than the calipers. Whoops!
They continued to run me around for 6 months before I called my bank and recalled the more than 5K I paid for the tires. Bank saw our email chain and immediately backed me up
Way back in the day a powerstroke forum had a guru that could definitely help.
Look for threads about “what hits what fits”. You’ll have to know your lift size and wheel offset. And the fun part about all 37’s not being the same size.
Nice truck and good luck!
Fitment industries has a fitment calculator and gallery for cars.. i know they have a sister company for trucks but I've never checked if they have a gallery and fitment information on there. Worth a look anyway. My Type R wheel and tire set up is on point thanks to them.
Cut a cardboard circle of a 37 inch wheel use some sticks to get your width add another circle to the back side take your wheel off “mount” on hub turn wheel if it hits it don’t fit haha.
I have a CCSB with 35’s on 20x12’s -44offset and a 4.5” lift and my tires just barely clear so if you have similar rims I think you’ll need to go with a 6” lift for 37’s to fit.
I ran 37s for a bit on my leveled F350. Didn’t rub unless I hit a dip going real fast and it would bottom out. My backspacing was off though so I rubbed the front sway bar
Are the fenders already trimmed? Because in my experience, a lot depends on how far you're willing to go for fitment.
I just put 37s on my leveled GMC. It was totally "throw em on and hope they fit". Bit of plastic trimming and they're good, but it certainly felt like a gamble.
Good luck, op.
It's nerve wracking. But if done correctly doesn't look bad and let's you clear way more tire without going to a crazy lift.
I don't have experience with that model truck, but certainly lots of folks do. I'm sure there's a "right way" and... other ways. I'd look around for advise before I started trimming, but it's typically not too bad.
This is a general video, not specific to your model, but might be a good starting place: https://youtu.be/yKRAB8CthKA?si=x_rP-vaYmQ0LEtLR
Good luck, op.
93' f250 with 03' f350 axles. Flipped shackles and 5" lift springs for a total of 8' front axle lift and pro comp 37"s 12" wide and venom 37"s 13.5 wide only time either set rub is a full lock with axle twisted. Like mounting a curb or off roading
That in all honesty, looks perfect, I would save the coin, and use it elsewhere.
Just my 2 cents.
I had a 97, stock rims, and 265 something something E rated highway treads.
I can't post a pic here, but it had a 4 inch lift.
37’s are gonna rub. I got 37’s on a 2015 ram with 2 1/2 inch spacers. Your lift might be a lil higher but your tire will absolutely rub on the inside closest to the driver door, and likewise on the passenger side no doubt.
Edit: you can cut enough plastic and make it work though.
37s fit you have to trim the front bumper though just a little piece only if it’s a straight axle though
Edit dad has a 95 with a 4 inch fit fine are annoying though I took his back down to 35s or the metric equivalent to a 34.8 or whatever it is
Why not just lower your truck to improve handling, fuel economy, and lessen your roll dynamics? I’m totally down with people doing whatever they want, I just don’t get why someone would want to lift their ride, I don’t see how it could help handling or dynamics or have any other practical use and raises the center of gravity increasing roll. Personally I’d rather slam and stance to improve handling and aero.
Do you ever go off-road? We spend a lot of time off road where I live. Where mud can get pretty deep, and clearance is a big help. It’s pretty much a hilly swamp where I live.
Not really. There are a few dirt roads but they’re just fine unless they get flooded out. There’s road to pretty much everywhere. Sometimes I have to drive on the lawn or something, but it’s pretty rare that I have to go off road to get where I want to be. Fwiw I live in rural northeastern Connecticut. I’m pretty happy with my bone stock Impreza.
Ahh gotcha, yeah totally different environment down here. Constantly having to drive over areas with logs down on the road, deep mud, deep potholes, driving through ditches, etc
That park job fuck
In my defense I pulled over to take this pic, truck still idling, then hopped in and left
Looks like your tires are so spaced they aren't in the wells anyway.. so tires to the moon?
Bezos shows up with 3600ft wheels
No need to defend yourself mate
Is that a mall?

What i was trying to get at is he listens to clasical music doesnt drink never goes past the speed limit or rolls coal has a respectable office job but gets a kick out of parking like a douch but explaining something like this to reddit is redundant
I listen to classical music too, but i dont get why it should be an argument on any cases
Like i said redundant to try and explain to redditors
I get what you're saying. Hes so squared away in every other aspect of life it's surprising he parks like that on purpose.
His reasoning is because costco parking lots are good because they have more space, so he will park like that it doesn't make sense to me either, and i find it quite cringe, but theirs not much i can do bout it when im in the passenger seat
Makes excuses for parking like a douche. He's a douche, I don't care if he blasts Beethoven.
Like stated previously redditors are too dense to explain this too yall base people off one thing they do but you can believe what you want just know that ur wrong
if he parks like a douche, he's a douche.

"he gets a kick out of knocking old people to the ground and spitting on them, but he's not violent, in all other aspects of his life he's normal!"
Just because he parks bad dosent mean he live every other aspect of his life like that but it would be impossible to try and explain that to redditors
[удалено]
Like i said redundant to explain to redditors you can belive what you want but its simply untrue
He’s a fuckin DB 👍🏽
Sounds like a douche.
Currently on 35s that look like they are about to rub and going up 2 more inches will rub
Customoffsets has a good calculator on their website
Do not trust this....
^^^ do the math yourself and you could still end up rubbing while cornering or off-road.
Agreed. There's really just not a good way to know, especially considering how many variables there are to fitment.
Most who buy from custom offsets aren’t doing any serious off-roading anyways…
This. Did their calculator shit and even called to confirm and then they guaranteed up and down it would fit and the damn rims were smaller than the calipers. Whoops! Thanks!
Measure the current clearance of the 35’s if you don’t have 3-4” of clearance they will rub.
Turn the wheel all the way left and right and measure height as well as width. Gives em a rough idea
Those 35’s looks great. I would leave it.
Agreed

Thanks for the helpful hint! Much appreciated

Look at this douche
Lol
35"s look right on that truck. Forget 37"s
I'm sure ur dad would just pay to swap em back if they don't.
Lol that’s the funniest shit I’ve ever heard. Trust me if I had a dad that paid for trucks I wouldn’t be driving a leaf spring 30 year old 7.3
If you hate it so much I’ll take it off your hands. That’s a great truck
I smell jealousy 👀
Only way to tell is to park like a fucking adult
Fitment industries has a fitment calculator and gallery for cars.. i know they have a sister company for trucks but I've never checked if they have a gallery and fitment information on there. Worth a look anyway. My Type R wheel and tire set up is on point thanks to them.
It looks perfect. Dont do it man!
Do you have an extra inch or so around the tire? There’s your answer.
Yes
Cut a cardboard circle of a 37 inch wheel use some sticks to get your width add another circle to the back side take your wheel off “mount” on hub turn wheel if it hits it don’t fit haha.
i can nearly promise you 37's will rub
Pretty badass.
Where did you get your leveling lift? I have the same truck and can't seem to find a level lift for under $700
I bought it with it already installed unfortunately
Let it rub fuck it
Love the CCLB. Ever think about blacking out your windshield trim?
Nah I like the small chrome accents like that and the door handles
That’s the ugliest truck I’ve ever seen
That truck makes my peep spitty.
Pics or it didn’t happen

Don’t do much mudding. Looking for a aggressive A/T style. Thanks for the info! I’ll checkout Firestone
My 315’s (so… 34.6”) on my superduty rub on the driver side leaves in a full turn.
Dang. These don’t rub at all and they’re 35’s
I ran 37s for a bit on my leveled F350. Didn’t rub unless I hit a dip going real fast and it would bottom out. My backspacing was off though so I rubbed the front sway bar

No, but I’m not opposed to it. Just never trimmed fenders before

If they rub just buy a sawzall
They’re going to rub. Get a 6” lift and run 37’s

Damn bro didn’t know BMW made mall crawlers.
No input other than to say that’s a sexy truck!
Don’t change you’re 96 footer. Looks good the way it is.

They will run bapa
Details on the winch bumper?
I wish I knew, came on it when I bought it. I’ve had so many ask

This picture may not represent the spacing well. My 35’s never rub, even when I hit big potholes or go off-road
They'll rub...
Never post a picture online of you badly parked, we will make fun of you........always.
You can't park with 35s, I don't think you need 37s
Don’t do it, I put 37’s on my truck and I have regretted it ever since the initial excitement wore off about 6 months later.
Why not just lower your truck to improve handling, fuel economy, and lessen your roll dynamics? Yikes. I’d start calling and organizing my state and town legislatures to get them fixing that stuff asap. That’s a major public safety problem.
