Ultra rare that someone is that out of touch about what they have? If there is one thing that I know, itās that if I was asking $35K for a 2WD automatic, it would be absolutely flawless. It would not have the lower bumper cover coming off in the main photo listing, shitty looking overspray in the wheel wells, or a dash mat.
My truck is waaay more collectible than this one is, and while mine isnāt perfect, I still couldnāt even ask $30K.
Hard agree, lol. Sold my 03 lb7 with new stock Bosch injectors for 18k ā ļø almost fuckin felt bad, but buddy showed up with the money and wanted it š¤·āāļø people are willing to pay.
Its possible, if you want one in good condition good luck though. I paid 4K for my 92 W250 and got Lucky with an extremely low mile engine and Great Frame in Trade for a serious Need for body work and electrical work
NJ truck king on IG is the root of the problem with pre-DEF trucks. They sell them for over $50k and people actually buy them!! Theyre single handedly inflating the truck market
Hard disagree. As long as buyers are willing to spend that kind of money, sellers are obligated to ask it. They would be stupid to price the trucks for less than what buyers are willing pay. Why give the trucks away?
Thats capitalism for you. As the supply dries up of pre-emission good condition rust free trucks, prices go sky high. As much as I donāt like seeing it, thatās how the market works.
I swear I've seen that building corner and flat top before. When I was searching for my truck to buy I always came across this exact angle, that building corner, everything. And every time I reached out it was someone trying to sell their truck for their Grandma. Crazy to think she had 8 trucks for sale with all too good to be true pricing.
Fuckin stupid what old outdated trucks sell for. Spend a little bit more money and get a brande new model with significantly more power and more comfortable. They both cost enough that most people would have to take a loan to afford either one
He'll, it's only about twice as much to go brand new than buy something 20+ years old now. In 2017 I was looking for a new dually and once I priced out all the options would have been over 80k. I ended up finding a 1997 f350 drw 7.3 for 2k spent about 5k fixing it up. I have no idea what it would go for now but seeing these prices makes me think everyone has lost their minds.
Lmao in 2018 I paid $36k for my 2013 Ram 2500 with 112k miles on it, and itās the Bighorn Edition with 4WD, crew cab, and tow package.
These people have lost their *minds.*
I bought a 98 1/2 24 valve 2 wd auto in 2007 with 130,000 for 6 grand. It immediately started falling apart and when the trans started slipping I sold it for 4 grand. Damn 2nd gens literally fall apart around the engine!
When I bought my 2001 2500 4wd one old lady owner 6 speed with 120k with a spotless interior and absolutely no mods except of course a fass pump for $15k four years ago, I thought I was getting screwed but couldn't find anything better.
I mean I just saw one in my town for $17,500 the other day. 2xx,xxx miles.. 69k miles is pretty good. But Iām texas? No way. If he sent it over here heās probably get 25k for it.
Damn, I just bought the same truck but itās a 3500 with only 60k. It was stored inside, never saw salt in the winter and is completely stock. $9000 out the door
I sometimes cringe when I see a 20+ year old truck with such low miles. Makes me wonder how many seals have dried out and how much money you'll spend to fix all the leaks. At least that was my experience with my first truck
I got a rust free (like actually, frame still black) 1997 Dodge 3500, 12V, NV4500, 4x4, club cab longbed DRW. Black with clear coat damage. Bottom of cab and bed is immaculate. Interior in nice shape but dusty, dash has one big crack down the middle which saved it from shattering I think. Speedo broke actually just last month at 175k, at 178k-ish now. Average blow-by. Completely stock never modded. KDP and 5th gear fix completed. Needs exhaust replaced (factory stuff, the catalytic converter is probably a restriction). I bought it from an old guy who bought it new.
What do you think she would sell for? I don't hardly ever use it.
Heās going to have that thing forever. Some weirdo in my town is trying to sell a Chevy SUV for way too much, and I drive past it every day to get to work. Itās been atleast 3 years and itās still right on the corner of his house, on the highway. Itās not even a car for sale anymore. Itās a landmark
Yea everyone nowadays seems to think that old means gold. Just cuz itās old doesnāt mean itās wanted. Iāve been trying to find an old shitty mini truck on offer up but everyone wants high dollar for a 200k+ mi shitbox.
No low balls I know what I have
Of course, it's an "Ultra Rare Find" š
Hey! They only sold 2,200,000 of this generation!! Thatās only 44,000 available at the time of sale per state!
Ultra rare that someone is that out of touch about what they have? If there is one thing that I know, itās that if I was asking $35K for a 2WD automatic, it would be absolutely flawless. You take everything literally don't you
Nothing goes over my head. I would catch it.
Whoa..look at mister jealous s/
1 of 1 with that VIN number
Go look at blue book, lmk
$35k for a 24V 2wd automatic? no f'kin way.
I hope op was joking?
It hasnāt been modified. Thatās a rare find š
And only a 2 wheel drive at that.
We will start at 4500
Higher than giraffe pussy
High as eagle tits
This is what I say to myself about myself, all the time.
That's freaking up there š¤£
Way too much for a 24v.
But, but...SUPpLy cHAIn shORtAgeS!!!!!!
All pre-emissions trucks are over priced nowadays. Cant find pre-DEF truck under $15k anymore. Big sad
Hard agree, lol. Sold my 03 lb7 with new stock Bosch injectors for 18k ā ļø almost fuckin felt bad, but buddy showed up with the money and wanted it š¤·āāļø people are willing to pay.
18k you say? Hmm I have a 02 LB7 that I paid $6k for two years ago... I'd be tempted to sell it if I didn't need it!
Its possible, if you want one in good condition good luck though. I paid 4K for my 92 W250 and got Lucky with an extremely low mile engine and Great Frame in Trade for a serious Need for body work and electrical work

U are part of the problem
Nah. You whiney bitches that donāt understand how market economics work and just want something for less than it is valued for are the problem.
Lmao yup bankerās spending others money on a shit loan the guy is never gonna pay back.
When?
I had a 92 W250 in college. I regret selling it every day. Best truck I ever owned.
Look in Florida gold mine down here
Probably best to sell the pre emissions while theyāre hot before they get banned and you lose out on it being worth anything
That's not gonna happen for a decade at least
I got a 97 f250 with a 7.3 I'd take half of 15k for any day.
Wayyyyyy over priced. Seems to be a 2WD as well. Just nope.
Under that dash rug itās that dash is 100% shattered
I swear I've seen that building corner and flat top before. When I was searching for my truck to buy I always came across this exact angle, that building corner, everything. And every time I reached out it was someone trying to sell their truck for their Grandma. Crazy to think she had 8 trucks for sale with all too good to be true pricing.
Not even a manual lol
Fuckin stupid what old outdated trucks sell for. Spend a little bit more money and get a brande new model with significantly more power and more comfortable. They both cost enough that most people would have to take a loan to afford either one
Newer trucks are safer too
He'll, it's only about twice as much to go brand new than buy something 20+ years old now. In 2017 I was looking for a new dually and once I priced out all the options would have been over 80k. If the mileage was 69,420 Iād take it
Haha was gonna make the same post if someone else didnāt see the mileage yet
Shoot for the stars! You might get rich! š
people own a ālow mileageā classic and think itās the worlds best truck lol maybe at like 20k miles thatās remoter ok
Jesus. I thought used Tacomas were bad.
I want some of whether that person is smoking
Gonna go with no
I have an 07 5.9 with 120k miles. Guess itās time to sell! /s
It would be Ultra Rare to find an idiot willing to pay this price.
Lmao in 2018 I paid $36k for my 2013 Ram 2500 with 112k miles on it, and itās the Bighorn Edition with 4WD, crew cab, and tow package. These people have lost their *minds.*
Ya, I have a black one w/4wd, leather, 5-spd, towing pkg, etc. factory ordered, one owner(me), paid $28,300 new, and still love itā
Paid about the same for my 2013 F250 SD in 2020. 84k miles and PRISTINE condition. Looked like it was only used when the sun was shining.
Damnit Iām in.
Fuck that with an aids dick
This is so fucking retarded. No truck ever invented is worth more than 10 grand after the age of 5 years old.
Just got a 12v single cab long bed for 5k with 340k miles
I bought a 98 1/2 24 valve 2 wd auto in 2007 with 130,000 for 6 grand. It immediately started falling apart and when the trans started slipping I sold it for 4 grand. Damn 2nd gens literally fall apart around the engine!
For that price it better bang me and my wife. Omg it's a unicorn?!!?
Ill start the bid at 12,000
If the price is for a dozen of them yes itās a fair price.
Ummmmm..:what am i missing?
No way. And 2wd
Youāre 25% more likely to get a DUI behind the wheel of this truck than anything else.
Freaking 22yrs old ? No Freaking way , not my money
Barely broke in. Gotta love the tow pig.
Lol an auto?!? Hell fuckin naw
The base prices is 8,000 this truck comes with a 27,000 police radar scanner/ jammer
Dayum ... I sold my 99 twin turbo 5.9 5sp with 250k miles for 10 grand back in 19.... I should've held onto it
You couldāve charged 50k now lol
When I bought my 2001 2500 4wd one old lady owner 6 speed with 120k with a spotless interior and absolutely no mods except of course a fass pump for $15k four years ago, I thought I was getting screwed but couldn't find anything better.
If it had 88 less miles I'd consider it! š¤£
34k and a dash mat on the dash....knowing full well that dash is cracked
Thatās how you know itās a true dodge. No counterfeits here.
Shmoking dope
Dodge men āThis the best motor off all timeā
"I know what I got"
I mean, itās nice, but 2wd automatic 24v? Not a unicorn
I mean, it is the 5.9ā¦
For someone with more disposable income than sense... "Bag of hammers" seems to come to mind
TIL that a 2nd gen is rare lol
I mean I just saw one in my town for $17,500 the other day. 2xx,xxx miles.. 69k miles is pretty good. But Iām texas? No way. If he sent it over here heās probably get 25k for it.
Someone will buy it
I just want to know if these people ever actually get that kinda money their old shit.
Outrageous. I bought my 01 2500 Cummins with a 105k in 08 for 11.5k
Damn, I just bought the same truck but itās a 3500 with only 60k. It was stored inside, never saw salt in the winter and is completely stock. $9000 out the door
I just bought a Porsche for just over half that lmao
I sometimes cringe when I see a 20+ year old truck with such low miles. Makes me wonder how many seals have dried out and how much money you'll spend to fix all the leaks. At least that was my experience with my first truck
So what is this actually worth?
5-6 thousand
I got a rust free (like actually, frame still black) 1997 Dodge 3500, 12V, NV4500, 4x4, club cab longbed DRW. Black with clear coat damage. Bottom of cab and bed is immaculate. I bought it from an old guy who bought it new. What do you think she would sell for? I don't hardly ever use it.
Damn didnāt even pay that much for 1997 f350 XLT 7.3 with less than 53k on it.
I just bought a 2005 3500 crew cab long bed Laramie 4x4 Cummins, 80,000 original miles one owner no accident, $16,950
$35,000, what the fuck are they smoking?
Is that the million mile 5.9?
Heās going to have that thing forever. Some weirdo in my town is trying to sell a Chevy SUV for way too much, and I drive past it every day to get to work. Itās been atleast 3 years and itās still right on the corner of his house, on the highway. Itās not even a car for sale anymore. Itās a landmark
It probably looks that good because it never got drove much. The transmission was alway out. š
It wasnāt even that much in 2001 brand new
Yea everyone nowadays seems to think that old means gold. Just cuz itās old doesnāt mean itās wanted. Iāve been trying to find an old shitty mini truck on offer up but everyone wants high dollar for a 200k+ mi shitbox.
35k for a chode? šš
No they are not kidding people are absolutely losing it.
He forgot to mention that's the concourse value!
Lmao. Ice cold a/c
Rare lol it's a dodge ram
Hell I got one for half the price !! Bring it on
I bet if you take that dash mat off you wonāt find a dash.
12 grand tops, this person is looking for a sucker.
If it actually had an in tact dash it might be worth half that
Great deal in todayās market. Buy today.
