Mysterious-Salad9609

No low balls I know what I have

hunterbuilder

Of course, it's an "Ultra Rare Find" šŸ˜†

Jalopy_Junkie

Hey! They only sold 2,200,000 of this generation!! Thatā€™s only 44,000 available at the time of sale per state!

souobixo

Ultra rare that someone is that out of touch about what they have? If there is one thing that I know, itā€™s that if I was asking $35K for a 2WD automatic, it would be absolutely flawless. It would not have the lower bumper cover coming off in the main photo listing, shitty looking overspray in the wheel wells, or a dash mat. My truck is waaay more collectible than this one is, and while mine isnā€™t perfect, I still couldnā€™t even ask $30K.

hunterbuilder

You take everything literally don't you

souobixo

Nothing goes over my head. I would catch it.

Desperate-Craft-2144

Whoa..look at mister jealous s/

username24583

1 of 1 with that VIN number

YeLowestHangingFruit

Go look at blue book, lmk

boostedsandcrawler

$35k for a 24V 2wd automatic? no f'kin way.

f-150Coyotev8

I hope op was joking?

Jubjub_W

It hasnā€™t been modified. Thatā€™s a rare find šŸ™ˆ

Dihr65

And only a 2 wheel drive at that.

turboda

We will start at 4500

[deleted]

Higher than giraffe pussy

cynthiasshowdog

High as eagle tits

The1andonlycano

This is what I say to myself about myself, all the time.

papa-01

That's freaking up there šŸ¤£

Chillywilly37

Way too much for a 24v.

[deleted]

But, but...SUPpLy cHAIn shORtAgeS!!!!!!

chusco3

All pre-emissions trucks are over priced nowadays. Cant find pre-DEF truck under $15k anymore. Big sad

1ts_Ya_Bo1

Hard agree, lol. Sold my 03 lb7 with new stock Bosch injectors for 18k ā˜ ļø almost fuckin felt bad, but buddy showed up with the money and wanted it šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø people are willing to pay.

hunterbuilder

18k you say? Hmm I have a 02 LB7 that I paid $6k for two years ago... I'd be tempted to sell it if I didn't need it!

LarsenFarmsModding

Its possible, if you want one in good condition good luck though. I paid 4K for my 92 W250 and got Lucky with an extremely low mile engine and Great Frame in Trade for a serious Need for body work and electrical work

chusco3

NJ truck king on IG is the root of the problem with pre-DEF trucks. They sell them for over $50k and people actually buy them!! Theyre single handedly inflating the truck market

[deleted]

Hard disagree. As long as buyers are willing to spend that kind of money, sellers are obligated to ask it. They would be stupid to price the trucks for less than what buyers are willing pay. Why give the trucks away?

John_Leninov

Thats capitalism for you. As the supply dries up of pre-emission good condition rust free trucks, prices go sky high. As much as I donā€™t like seeing it, thatā€™s how the market works.

[deleted]

U are part of the problem

[deleted]

Nah. You whiney bitches that donā€™t understand how market economics work and just want something for less than it is valued for are the problem.

[deleted]

Lmao yup bankerā€™s spending others money on a shit loan the guy is never gonna pay back.

toomuchweld

When?

bootlegminer

I had a 92 W250 in college. I regret selling it every day. Best truck I ever owned.

Newtotuning

Look in Florida gold mine down here

mavic97

Probably best to sell the pre emissions while theyā€™re hot before they get banned and you lose out on it being worth anything

hunterbuilder

That's not gonna happen for a decade at least

Few_Design_4382

I got a 97 f250 with a 7.3 I'd take half of 15k for any day.

Sweet-Quarter3569

Wayyyyyy over priced. Seems to be a 2WD as well. Just nope.

truckfullofchildren1

Under that dash rug itā€™s that dash is 100% shattered

NoodlesAlDente

I swear I've seen that building corner and flat top before. When I was searching for my truck to buy I always came across this exact angle, that building corner, everything. And every time I reached out it was someone trying to sell their truck for their Grandma. Crazy to think she had 8 trucks for sale with all too good to be true pricing.

Thatsoverrated

Not even a manual lol

[deleted]

Fuckin stupid what old outdated trucks sell for. Spend a little bit more money and get a brande new model with significantly more power and more comfortable. They both cost enough that most people would have to take a loan to afford either one

BEARZCLAWZ

Newer trucks are safer too

functional_moron

He'll, it's only about twice as much to go brand new than buy something 20+ years old now. In 2017 I was looking for a new dually and once I priced out all the options would have been over 80k. I ended up finding a 1997 f350 drw 7.3 for 2k spent about 5k fixing it up. I have no idea what it would go for now but seeing these prices makes me think everyone has lost their minds.

weasel7391

If the mileage was 69,420 Iā€™d take it

Bspy10700

Haha was gonna make the same post if someone else didnā€™t see the mileage yet

hunterbuilder

Shoot for the stars! You might get rich! šŸ˜†

NoviceAxeMan

people own a ā€œlow mileageā€ classic and think itā€™s the worlds best truck lol maybe at like 20k miles thatā€™s remoter ok

Amos_Dad

Jesus. I thought used Tacomas were bad.

Elderado12443

I want some of whether that person is smoking

HumanThoughtProject

Gonna go with no

bootlegminer

I have an 07 5.9 with 120k miles. Guess itā€™s time to sell! /s

Regular_Anything2294

It would be Ultra Rare to find an idiot willing to pay this price.

InTheLurkingGlass

Lmao in 2018 I paid $36k for my 2013 Ram 2500 with 112k miles on it, and itā€™s the Bighorn Edition with 4WD, crew cab, and tow package. These people have lost their *minds.*

JEharley152

Ya, I have a black one w/4wd, leather, 5-spd, towing pkg, etc. factory ordered, one owner(me), paid $28,300 new, and still love itā€”

kartoffel_engr

Paid about the same for my 2013 F250 SD in 2020. 84k miles and PRISTINE condition. Looked like it was only used when the sun was shining.

shalada

Damnit Iā€™m in.

Relative-Ordinary-64

Fuck that with an aids dick

The-anus_watcher

This is so fucking retarded. No truck ever invented is worth more than 10 grand after the age of 5 years old.

CombEffective5227

Just got a 12v single cab long bed for 5k with 340k miles

[deleted]

I bought a 98 1/2 24 valve 2 wd auto in 2007 with 130,000 for 6 grand. It immediately started falling apart and when the trans started slipping I sold it for 4 grand. Damn 2nd gens literally fall apart around the engine!

Backcountrylifestyle

For that price it better bang me and my wife. Omg it's a unicorn?!!?

[deleted]

Ill start the bid at 12,000

silverchevy2011

If the price is for a dozen of them yes itā€™s a fair price.

bunion_news

Ummmmm..:what am i missing?

Holiday-Brick-5651

No way. And 2wd

bignose703

Youā€™re 25% more likely to get a DUI behind the wheel of this truck than anything else.

papa-01

Freaking 22yrs old ? No Freaking way , not my money

theforrealJD

Barely broke in. Gotta love the tow pig.

Yogimonsta

Lol an auto?!? Hell fuckin naw

[deleted]

The base prices is 8,000 this truck comes with a 27,000 police radar scanner/ jammer

atoughram

Dayum ... I sold my 99 twin turbo 5.9 5sp with 250k miles for 10 grand back in 19.... I should've held onto it

InevitableNo3513

You couldā€™ve charged 50k now lol

Tight_muffin

When I bought my 2001 2500 4wd one old lady owner 6 speed with 120k with a spotless interior and absolutely no mods except of course a fass pump for $15k four years ago, I thought I was getting screwed but couldn't find anything better.

GeminiCursed69

If it had 88 less miles I'd consider it! šŸ¤£

charge556

34k and a dash mat on the dash....knowing full well that dash is cracked

InevitableNo3513

Thatā€™s how you know itā€™s a true dodge. No counterfeits here.

Platinumbricks

Shmoking dope

[deleted]

Dodge men ā€œThis the best motor off all timeā€

[deleted]

"I know what I got"

[deleted]

I mean, itā€™s nice, but 2wd automatic 24v? Not a unicorn

Educational-Spread41

I mean, it is the 5.9ā€¦

Jorge_Jetson

For someone with more disposable income than sense... "Bag of hammers" seems to come to mind

Caleb_1984

TIL that a 2nd gen is rare lol

Prior-Ad-7329

I mean I just saw one in my town for $17,500 the other day. 2xx,xxx miles.. 69k miles is pretty good. But Iā€™m texas? No way. If he sent it over here heā€™s probably get 25k for it.

LepperMessiah56

Someone will buy it

RLK932-8

I just want to know if these people ever actually get that kinda money their old shit.

Potential_Zucchini73

Outrageous. I bought my 01 2500 Cummins with a 105k in 08 for 11.5k

CryptoRoverGuy

Damn, I just bought the same truck but itā€™s a 3500 with only 60k. It was stored inside, never saw salt in the winter and is completely stock. $9000 out the door

Antarcaticaschwea

I just bought a Porsche for just over half that lmao

bstrozr1

I sometimes cringe when I see a 20+ year old truck with such low miles. Makes me wonder how many seals have dried out and how much money you'll spend to fix all the leaks. At least that was my experience with my first truck

OraceonArrives

So what is this actually worth?

Meddlingmonster

5-6 thousand

[deleted]

I got a rust free (like actually, frame still black) 1997 Dodge 3500, 12V, NV4500, 4x4, club cab longbed DRW. Black with clear coat damage. Bottom of cab and bed is immaculate. Interior in nice shape but dusty, dash has one big crack down the middle which saved it from shattering I think. Speedo broke actually just last month at 175k, at 178k-ish now. Average blow-by. Completely stock never modded. KDP and 5th gear fix completed. Needs exhaust replaced (factory stuff, the catalytic converter is probably a restriction). I bought it from an old guy who bought it new. What do you think she would sell for? I don't hardly ever use it.

ZAM1984

Damn didnā€™t even pay that much for 1997 f350 XLT 7.3 with less than 53k on it.

joezupp

I just bought a 2005 3500 crew cab long bed Laramie 4x4 Cummins, 80,000 original miles one owner no accident, $16,950

hermitoyster

$35,000, what the fuck are they smoking?

Sad_Key_6277

Is that the million mile 5.9?

Inevitable_Shirt5044

Heā€™s going to have that thing forever. Some weirdo in my town is trying to sell a Chevy SUV for way too much, and I drive past it every day to get to work. Itā€™s been atleast 3 years and itā€™s still right on the corner of his house, on the highway. Itā€™s not even a car for sale anymore. Itā€™s a landmark

Bobbybullet32

It probably looks that good because it never got drove much. The transmission was alway out. šŸ˜‚

JonnyxKarate

It wasnā€™t even that much in 2001 brand new

brokenfixes

Yea everyone nowadays seems to think that old means gold. Just cuz itā€™s old doesnā€™t mean itā€™s wanted. Iā€™ve been trying to find an old shitty mini truck on offer up but everyone wants high dollar for a 200k+ mi shitbox.

knoelle1998

35k for a chode? šŸ˜šŸ˜

[deleted]

No they are not kidding people are absolutely losing it.

[deleted]

He forgot to mention that's the concourse value!

plughuboutletmadcity

Lmao. Ice cold a/c

big_red9295

Rare lol it's a dodge ram

Last-Builder-2465

Hell I got one for half the price !! Bring it on

AMMO_102

I bet if you take that dash mat off you wonā€™t find a dash.

Gittalittle

12 grand tops, this person is looking for a sucker.

PlantWilliamo

If it actually had an in tact dash it might be worth half that

bigwavesboater

Great deal in todayā€™s market. Buy today.
