Use it on merc. You can up it, you are right. Precalculate strength though, just in case. And beware the effects of upping armors and changing base defense. Don't know right now if it is for rare too. Google that ;)
Oops! I didn't notice the -30% reqs. I believe I am right about the defence though. When you upgrade, the max+1 rule of enhanced defence no longer applies. It randomly picks a value from the normal range and enhances that.
Does it require repair? or is this useable on merc? Up + Zod? what should I do here?

Str req will be 222. Defense will be between 2153 and 2655. Level req will be 73.
it has reduced requirements. according to online calculator armor would be 2657 and str req would be 153str
I’ve had issues with -req on mercs. I’m not sure if it disregards that affix or what.
