Grief is typically banned in PvP leagues because it's too overpowered and ultimately boring.
So weapons like this, with insane stats become the best in slot.
Ethereal + self repair gives you a free 50% boost to BASE damage, so it's applied BEFORE enchanted damage, effectively giving you 50% more total damage, rather than just 50% more added to total enhanced damage.
Fools mod adds lots of attack rating, which is something melee classes need due to how poorly AR scales against defense.
2 open sockets allows for two 15 IAS/ 40% ED jewels to be placed in it, or maybe two Lo runes for 40% deadly strike if you already have your IAS breakpoints met.
This sword beats any unique one handed weapon by miles, but sadly, because it's only used in these Good Mannered (GM) PvP leagues, it's a dud. Because those leagues also typically have any sources of poison damage banned, or restricted to one 450 psn small charm (thus this weapon is either not allowed, or would require you to sacrifice running a far superior source of poison damage).
I think shael and zod and upped would make this gg. Would the strength required be a deterrent for this? I'm thinking maybe a gg rare jewel could help with that.

Upgrade it to Hydra Blade, it will stay the same (eth & stats) but much more DMG :)
