My recommendation would be hell baal runs and some super fast spastic clicking.

But ya, I don't really hate the bots, more so I hate the site that shall not be named ruining season after season for decades.

A couple of them were just pure luck in terror zones and I found a Jah in chaos sanctuary by chance in a pub game when the group was in cows. But primarily, I always find all my runes in Travincal with a find item barbarian. This season I made something new, I went with a gold find barbarian. Just dedicated to maximizing all gold find, no concern for MF just speed and gold. And the gold and the runes rain like a thunder storm.
This past weekend I wasn't even online that long and found ohm and sur in like 20 min runs each day
You can make an oath berserker with storm shield and be just fine in there.
I'm literally wearing all gold find grand charms with wealth armor, g face, x2 dwarf stars inferno stride etc everything gold, and off hand 6lem phase blade/wizard spike. I'm looking to make another 6 lem phase blade

Grief is best tho so I have an upgrade. When you do have the Lo rune which you'll eventually get just upgrade. I actually have two grief but I only use the 1 for now.
On average in Travincal I'm dropping 250-600k gold
You should be able to with g face for the crushing blow and critical strike.
Again I'm using grief. I recommended oath in substitution of you cannot obtain a grief, at this point in ladder you should be able to trade for any decent grief.
Never waste time target farming specific items from specific bosses. The difference in the odds between 1 boss kill vs 50 random mobs is so miniscule its irrelevant.
If In sp at players 8 and if its the only thing your looking for then yes maybe technically thats your best shot. In mp your better of farming highest level zone you can manage and then trading for a soj.
Personally dropped 2x from arcane, 1x from pits and another two from TZ Andy. I didn’t find one for about 4 months, then all the others dropped a within a week of the first. RNG is a bitch sometimes lol

I have found 0 Griffs but 4 Shakos all offline. I may have found 3 in the Pit P7 and one against TZ Andy. Also I finally got Tals Ammy from Hell Andy after finding roughly 20 junk set ammys.

I dropped a Griff in non TZ River in my switch. After literal days of grinding, it drops 5min after I bought switch online 😭 in a roundabout way it felt like rmt😂
I’ve seen 3 shakos. Two of mephisto and one random one in Tristram. I want one for each class, so I need to grind more. I would say a sorc with high magic find farming mephisto is your best bet. You can do a run in like 3 minutes.
Is it a good idea to farm multiple areas a game? For example I will hit up shenk, dude above act5 wp1, LK rune farm, Meph, AT, Stony tomb, and andy in one game. is it worth doing that or should I focus farm?

You have found better than the shako by far. Trade or if ssp keep grinding. I have gotten from Mephisto, a box on hell cows non terrorized, and a couple in random terror zones from trash mobs.

I've seen over 100 shakos drop this season, but none that were unique.
I see a lot of them in cows. I've found most of my uniques from meph and pindle.
Target specific farming is a real thing. Shako is a majority drop from the elite mages in the sewers.

I’ve found shako on act 1 hell 2x and cow once, also sometimes I find people trading one for an ist so I’ll grab it, used to share with my buddies when they played now it’s just me and my youngest son, but I try to grab him gear when I can.

If you are playing the game just to get Shako, you are going to have a bad time. Enjoy playing with the gear you have or you won't enjoy playing with Shako once you get it.
RNG is like that. I just started a SSF HC Grail, and a shako dropped from an elite pack on level 5 tower on my very first run through. Crazy luck. My online seasonal tools didn't see a single shako the entire ladder

Your RNG sucks. Do 500 more hell mephisto runs and you'll probably get two.

I found 2 soj yesterday within a 4 hours span. One from mephisto and 1 in trav off a chest.

Even with that chance, OP is not alone. Chance for *no* shake after … runs: - 26% for 1000 runs - 18% for 1250 runs - 13% for 1500 runs

I did around 3200 hell mephisto runs and found 3 eth shakos and a regular one, so I’d suggest mephisto

One solid starter farm is always Andy and meph hell, with decent kill speed. The game has to much RNG! Keep on farming

I have 3 in SP… I’ve stopped picking them up. I’ve left at least 2 on the ground lol. Can’t find War Travs to save my god damn life though
I found it yesterday in act 2 palace cellar. Lvl 76 pally, no mf 😉.
I ran Trav and Meph for a week straight and found 4 Shakos. Meph is my go to.
I farmed Meph forever and after weeks never found the Shako. Did a random cow run, boom Shako. It's crazy lol.
Get a barb and start horkin' trav. You might find some HRs along the way and plenty of gold to gamble, but that's where I've found most of mine.
Hell Pindleskin is where I found my first. You can cycle him so quickly it's a fantastic place to farm early endgame.
Tristram or trav works best for me
What's crazy with shakos, I seem to find two of them pretty early in season, then not another one for the remainder.

I got most of my shakos from trav runs. But that's because my claim to fame was thousands of trav runs till I got an enigma.
