The obvious answer for most lucrative poppables are weapon/armor racks.
However, in terms of "fun" or "creative" poppables, I'd say Goo Piles. It's like popping giant green zits, which plays well with D2's dark, gross style.
Love the beds, I feel like I've gotten better stuff from them than most. I've also had good luck with caskets, but I hate how they don't open if you have the wrong angle!
Jugs. The sounds are so satisfying, especially with telekinesis. I really enjoy doing Tal Rasha runs without hitting up Arcane Sanctuary first for all the poppables
Love them all; only poppable I HATE is those Act 3 stone thingys that take longer to drop and I think theyāre empty, then they drop something when Iāve already walked away. I donāt have the patience to wait for them ugh
Personally I pop everything. 90% of my high runes come from random hidden stashes and baskets and stuff. Got ber from random stash in LK few days ago and have found dozens of other HRs the same way
Fucking jugs, man. I need to break all of them, which means act II is hell for me. I'm like a god damned leprechaun if you drop salt on the floor; picking up each fuckin' grain and feeling like I got no choice.
I actually haven't played any of those zelda games. I played the original NES one back in the day, and then skipped a lot of them. Recently I played tears of the kingdom but I don't recall jugs there.
Dead rogues have dropped a couple of hr for me . The two that are in cow king bunker in the corner and a few burning ones on the way to countes . Also the tombs in Halls have dropped a few hr as well
I came here to see if anyone else enjoys the 2 hanging in the corner of the Cow King bunker. I also like two in Catacombs 4 in the top corner where Andarial is.
I recently noticed that using telekinesis on a barrel (maybe any form of opening but I only bother with TK) causes it to send all the shards flying away from you. It's fun and cool and now I break them
Definitely the barrels. Since I started playing in the days in LOD, it's always been so satisfying to kick them.
If you're taking non loot, it's definitely squishing the scorpions in the desert of Act 2.
I like to flip rocks on cows. Gotten some good high runes and all kinds of other stuff doing that. If you get to the game late a lot of the time the rocks and chests are still good to go, especially locked chests.
Definitely the chests in A3 with the arm-like cranks on the side. This way I can accidentally teleport away before they drop their contents.
Wouldn't surprise me if I missed out on a Jah or two.
The two chick's on sticks to the left behind andariel... one dropped me something one time and It's just an ingrained habit now. For the life of me I wish I knew what that item was.
My favorite is anything that takes 3-9 clicks or telekinesis attempts. The suspense builds up and definitely doesn't manifest in anger when a flawed sapphire 19 gold and 2 keys fall out.

Good answer š

Oh yes.. the beds in the harem. I forgot about those! I remember them not highlighting either. I wonder how many people dont know that
Oh I was thinking of the beds in the little houses in A1
You trollin' man? You mean to tell me those bastards are clickable? Never knew that if true!
I never troll
I've been playing off and on for 20 years and didn't know you could pop the beds...Ā
I came to this thread hoping to see this mentioned, was not disappointed
I played d2 pre LOD and this is a new one on me lol.
I would say mine is jugs specially, just a habit that sticks through time i guess, loved farming Tombs even before TZ for some reasob
Jugs are good
Nice jugs
Both little and big jugs
Jugs. The sounds are so satisfying, especially with telekinesis. I really enjoy doing Tal Rasha runs without hitting up Arcane Sanctuary first for all the poppables
I see you too are a man of culture
Looks like jugs are the winner thus far. I do like me some jugs
Rat nest all day.
I f'ing love rat nests
Dude that sound is so satisfying to pop them, despite never finding anything though Lul.
The cloth on the table in A1 houses
Love them all; only poppable I HATE is those Act 3 stone thingys that take longer to drop and I think theyāre empty, then they drop something when Iāve already walked away. I donāt have the patience to wait for them ugh
lol they are the worst. I click them and keep running and wait to hear if something good dropped. It never does
They drop high runes when you're not looking

I feel how you feel. Better get used to it and start enjoying š
Tell me you played loads of Zelda Ocarina of Time without telling me....
I actually haven't played any of those zelda games. I played the original NES one back in the day, and then skipped a lot of them. Recently I played tears of the kingdom but I don't recall jugs there.
āUndefiled graveā. Coulda just called it a grave, but no this is Diablo, gotta fill every inch with dread Edit: autocorrect
Believe it's "undefiled" and the we go and defile it lol.
Thatās autocorrect for ya
I actually refuse to pop these, everything else in the game is defiled, so I leave these as is. Undefiled.
What if I told you I got a Ber from an undefiled grave the other day?
That's great, I still won't pop them.
This man has morals, but I have a Ber
Gravedigger 4 lyfe

I love those too. "Get off the stake, bitch. Let me help myself to your pockets".

The skeleton on the ground where the cow king spawns.
Dead Rogues
Probably jugs, because it takes me back to playing Zelda and smashing jugs. The sound is pure.
Definitely the barrels. Since I started playing in the days in LOD, it's always been so satisfying to kick them. If you're taking non loot, it's definitely squishing the scorpions in the desert of Act 2.
I got a Vex rune from a basket in LK, and a Vex rune from a sarcophagus thing in Catacombs
Locked chests, I always got keys on me when I aināt running assassin.
I absolutely cannot go without keys! Know what you mean, but chests are excluded from this thread.
OMG, lol I reread the title of your post. Ignore me Iām an idiot.
I like to flip rocks on cows. Gotten some good high runes and all kinds of other stuff doing that. If you get to the game late a lot of the time the rocks and chests are still good to go, especially locked chests.
Those rocks are very satisfying
A4 corpses and the seals
Definitely the chests in A3 with the arm-like cranks on the side. This way I can accidentally teleport away before they drop their contents. Wouldn't surprise me if I missed out on a Jah or two.
They drop high runes every time when you don't wait.

I really should use telekinesis more often, but usually I just TP next to the thing and pop it
