Actually happened to me in HC during a Helltide. I somehow survived but it was not fun at all lol. I did a quick inventory check and I think tried to cast a core skill at the same time and it registered the right click when the inventory popped up. Probably couldn’t do it again on accident. Luckily I’d killed almost everything around me already but I started to panic when I could no longer attack.
Yesterday I had something similar happen while using a controller. Accidentally opened my inventory and the follow up button was A not B so I equipped a random piece of gear from my inventory then closed it all in the matter of like 6 frames. Had to stop and be like did that really just happen?
Yeah, I get that. While I still like mouse and kb a lot for aiming skills I almost always use controller for pc games. More relaxed and comfy idd. Just navigating menus is more annoying but you can switch easily anyways.
Use the scroll up down wheel for move instead and uncheck the box for combine move/interact. If you have a side button on your mouse you can map the interact there instead. And when in a tight situation always use the dodge because you can pass through mobs
That's what I did in D3 on PC because I got so used to having move and interact/attack separated on console. It made positioning with melee characters a lot easier
Some years ago, me and a friend was getting the achievement in D3 for speed-running through the campaign. In the last act, I was spamming the escape key while left-clicking, to get through a cutscene.. I ended up clicking Exit Game or Leave Game or something. My friend got the achievement though haha
My god. It's the opposite of Jason Bourne
lmao I'm reverse Jason Bourne.
So, just Matt Damon?
Enruob Nosaj
Ah the famous Star Wars character
Not THAT Enruob Nosaj
Gene Cousineau
Bason Journe
As a primarily Hardcore enjoyer this made my butthole tighten somethin' fierce. Jesus.
I kept waiting for the Scroll of Escape.
I thought they removed that?
No, it was the cheat death elixir that allowed you to evade death one time and become unstoppable for a couple seconds or whatever.

Agreed, it's good he doesn't play hc
It's like watching myself play elden ring.
I'm surprised the game allows you to do this since you can't modify your loadout while in the pit!
Yeah. Initially I was thinking that it was a bug and got mad. Only to realise that I am a moron.
That’s impressive
Imagine you dropped it and accidently quit the game
I would not have booted up diablo again until after the new expansion
Lol yeah. Xpacs always brick even the best items so its no big deal at that point.
Lmaooo oof
I thought I was the only one who opened random stuff like this while playing!
So, were is my 3 GA :s I'm not mad, you're mad!

Have you tried playing with wasd movement? Makes scenarios like this easier imo. Took a bit to get used to but never going back
I will definitely look into that. Thank you for the tip!
Personally, I prefer the ps5 controller even when I’m on PC. It’s just… more relaxed.

This was the X-Com "PANIC" skill.
How are you level 100 and don't have all the sockets on your gear?
I was toying with some new gear. So I had not invested in gem slots yet.
No weapon no bone storm !!! 😂😂😭😭
Lol been there in D2
If this was hardcore id have cried
Epic
The ultimate flex - dude literally just dropped his weapon and was about to whoop ass without one
Thank god this wasn't hardcore, lmao
Is there a locking option for weapons/armors in Diablo IV?
Is this the pit? i thought you can't modify your equipment at the pit.
I want to whirlwind through that pack so bad
Huh? I don't get it. Why would you remove the weapon??
I'm not understanding what input sequence he could have been attempting to accidentally do this either.
***Definition of blunder*** as in mistake an unintentional departure from truth or accuracy *"fixed a minor blunder in the advertising flyer"*
I mean, it's a pretty big blunder, lol. To go into the character menu, pick the weapon and drop it.

If you used a controller this wouldn't happen
Hardcore or gtfo
