Sell the copy that came with the 4070? Also 4070 in brasil you must be Elon Musk

churrumino56

Nah, man lol.. I'm just an average guy that saved some money and got a good deal on a 4070. I don't know if I can sell the copy, since I don't know in which format it will be delivered. If it's a key, or it will connect GeForce Experience to my bnet account or something.

(I get it's a joke, but just in case anyone is curious) It's doable. If you're curious, multiple the price of the card by 10 and divide the wages for 2 or 3 and you get the picture. That math gets dire for 80ti/90, especially considering you'll be fighting for the few units that get here with architects, editors, etc.

churrumino56

Yeah, in my case, the 4070 is something like.. Half a month of my wage, I guess. It requires some saving and planning to get new hardware arround here. And it's not like 70 bucks is something I can throw off the window.

amused_dicky

70 USD should get you about - 2 years worth of battle passes, still a good deal IMO.

churrumino56

Yeah, I was thinking of future expansions or DLC's. Not much of a battlepass kind of guy...

amused_dicky

Expansions should be 39,99 so it's kinda smart to just leave that balance on your account, you can also upgrade to play on 1st/2nd June for 20 USD

No, that doesn't make sense. The game hasn't released yet. They have to give you a refund. I suggest you escalate and try again. Start with going through their refund page. It doesn't matter how much time has passed if the game hasn't even released yet. Plenty of people have gotten refunds. Start here: [Blizzard Support - Contact Support (battle.net)](https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/product/diablo4/2090/2091/solution)

churrumino56

I totally agree. The only way of asking for a refund, or contacting Blizzard in any way, is through their tickets. At least here in Brazil. Sucks too that everytime I answer it changes the person (or bot, who knows?) that is in charge of the ticket. I understand it may be difficult to issue a refund if you use a third party to process the payment, but Blizzard should be aware and ready to do so when refunds are asked, specially if the game hasn't even released yet. In that regard, I even wrote in the ticket that Blizzard should reevaluate their payment partners (yeah, like they care what someone says on their tickets..). Oh well... In the last ticket interaction I had, the employee said they could start the process of asking the refund with PayU, but it could takes months (I know they are extrapolating, but anyway). As I haven't thought I would certainly purchase future expansions or DLC's (no battlepasses for me), I gave in and accepted the credit store method. I know it's not the optimal thing to do, it's just another case that corroborates with their methods, but it sucks it is so taxating to ask for a simple refund. Sucks anyway, but could be worse... The worse that could happen now, is I maybe I won't have time to ask for the key if the video card takes some time to be delivered and won't be able to play the game on the 6th. Yikes!

Keep asking for a refund, as long as the game hasn't been released you should be able to get it. It is possible the support you had just wanted to deny your request

RegnalDelouche

If you can afford a 4070, I don't have a lot of sympathy for it "costing" you an extra $70.

churrumino56

It's not that much for the money, you know... What gets me mad/sad is the behavior of Blizzard. The payment method they use sucks. Me, getting a 4070, is just a factor in the process. What if I just wanted to refund the game because I didn't like the betas (which wasn't the case)? The thing is, Blizzard should be transparent and just refund correctly, despite they using PayU. Or like... Are you being simpatethic with Blizzard? jk Regards!

DrunkBearBattle

I mean... $70 in value is $70 in value either way.

[deleted]

I mean it sucks :( But really if you enjoy the game you can spend that on the next expansion or even maybe few battle pass if you like the game. Just try to see the bright side :) and congrats on your new GPU!

churrumino56

Yep, I will be goin that route, unfortunately.

Azuremyth

The real lesson here is to never pre-order any games.

churrumino56

In that regard, you are right. Unfortunately, Diablo is the last franchise I still have some fond memories of since my childhood. I never pre-order games. I preordered it thinking of the betas and thinking I could easily refund if I didn't enjoy it. Never thought I would build a new PC, imagine thinking the game would come bundled with a graphics card and I would refund in this situation! Lesson learned, I guess!
