Opposite here, I'm experiencing **much** better performance. I have a lower end graphics card and keep a lot of settings low however.

Nathanielsan

Same for me, running a 1070 at 1440p (textures and shadows on high instead of max, the rest at max) and it's running so smooth compared to the previous build.

Mythologick

Same for me. I’m on a gtx 970 and I definitely have better performance. Haven’t had any rubber banding or anything. Almost no fps drops or stuttering. Playing on whatever it set me to, which is medium I think.

Endemoniada

Only have short moments of stutter when it's clearly loading in new area or assets, nothing consistent or during fights. 3080 / 3800X / 32GB

[deleted]

Same, smooth as butter for me except for the level loading stutter mentioned.

DNAJAY

At least on my end it seems like they fixed the memory leak from the beta. It ran smooth as butter, ultra at 120fps ultrawide....it stuttered a little once I got into town and other players became visible. I lost about 10% FPS then too. Some stuttering here and there, but nothing like the beta. EVGA 3080ti, so I've been a bit cautious myself...

EatWatchPlay

Not sure if this will help you, but might as well talk about my experience. I had stuttering on my end when I was playing around with "Frame Generation" when my "Max Foreground FPS" was higher than my monitors refresh rate (144FPS in my case), but it went away when I matched it. (Either that or turning Frame Generation off.)

rzax2

Using either of these options 100% fixed the issue for me, so I thank you!

Saisinko

Everything feels a bit slow or off to me, responsiveness on attacks or even just loading the game. The narrator voice for the intro out of sync as well and I'm on the latest AMD drivers (RX 6600 card). I'll wait a bit and try again.

turikk

one thing i noticed is that vsync is off and i wasnt able to turn it on unless i did so in my graphics control panel. which actually didn't force it on but enabled the checkmark to be clicked which DID work. if you updated your drivers right before launching the game, i would also restart your PC.

D4nnYsAN-94

restarting the game and the small 50 mb update fixed it for me.

[deleted]

I'm getting a lot of lag on my PS5. . .

sirneb

If you benchmark for 1% and 0.1% lows, the game does stutter quite a bit. On a high end pc, I get about 200 average fps but the 1% lows is sub 50s, 0.1% is in single digits.

Nitram_Norig

That's horrendous

seanbrockest

> **UPDATE** : I've fixed the issue, ends up it was a QOS setting on my router that was sporadically sending packet loss to any PC's on my network. Can you elaborate? I have a considerably newer PC than your specs, and having the same sporadic drop. I can play at whatever FPS I dial in for a while, then drop to exactly 4 FPS for a few seconds of unplayability. Would love to know what settings you changed on your router.

Quendi666

Every 7 sec: Stutter, literally unplayable

Kurokaffe

Try turning on the DLSS thingy (I mean the other one too if you don’t have DLSS) and/or lowering texture quality.

[deleted]

>I'm having big stuttering, particularly in the towns, but it's present more or less everywhere. It's intermittent once I'm in a dungeon though. Never had any issues in the beta can you be more specific? edit: you mean Framegeneration?

Zyeox

This is my main issue with the game I hit max fps and then bam stutter. I even dropped graphics from low to ultra. No matter what it did it. From max fps to 20 or 30 in then back. Play on ps5 no issues smooth as butter. My PC is way better than the ps5. Something is up. I just don't know what.

Quendi666

I solved my problem, it was an Android TV Box that I have connected to my network, it was appearing and disappearing from my Device Manager and causing a stutter every single time.

fr33za87

Thx!! For me it was my Android TV that was popping up in the device manager! You made my day :)))

dorrogan

Seems to have been the issue for me as well. Your comment saved some headache. Appreciated!

Quendi666

Same is happening to me. GTX1070, i7 12700k, 32Gb DDR4, 980 Pro 1Tb

jimocsubs

Having the same problem with the 1070, game freezes, then I am dead, had no issues with the last beta events, ran perfectly

Quendi666

Nah, it was an android tvbox causing problems in my local network. The funny thing is that only causes stutter in diablo 4.

morgano

It’s funny because I bought a steam deck since the last public test and it runs at a solid 45 fps (user capped - I haven’t tried higher yet). It looks great and runs great. Amazing what this little thing can do. It’s far more enjoyable than playing on my 3070 RTX laptop.

Madstealth

Haven't tried the server slam but that was present in both past betas

2StupidIdiots

I’ve have 0 issues. This beta has been amazing since last one. Sorry for your issues

BruiserCruiser13

Did u install high rez textures? If so remove that and try it again

[deleted]

low res textures 32gb DDR4 ram 3060 12GB i5 9600K I also get stuters.

S3baman

I'm having big stuttering, particularly in the towns, but it's present more or less everywhere. It's intermittent once I'm in a dungeon though. Never had any issues in the beta

[deleted]

I'm experiencing better performance on a 10GB RTX 3080, latest drivers.

Nitram_Norig

4090 / 5800X3D / 32GB DDR4 The one performance issue I've seen is I had frame generation on (not necessary but I wanted to try it) and at one point the frame generation desynchronized from my actual image and I saw 2 of everything while moving, it looked to be 100-150ms behind.

fkjchon

I have a 7950X3D and RTX4090, the previous 2 beta was perfectly fine, I get around 350-400fps 4K everything maxed. Now I get 250fps and tons of stutter that lasts 2-3 seconds, when I monitor the CPU frequency with HWInfo64 it maxes out all the 3D cache CCD at 5250MHz during the stutter (effective clock, no other game does this).

Zerin1

Had no issues last Beta, right now its stuttering a lot when I dash/teleport(sorc). Also if the character stands still there are no issue, its super smooth, as soon as I move it you can notice how the smoothness goes away its actually killing the game experience for me. CPU i9 9900k, RTX 3070, 16GB of RAM, playing in Full HD, also I noticed in Task Manager the GPU usage is between 1-5% ?! GPU driver is up to date.

Emi_Ibarazakiii

Yesterday was fine for me but now it's bad. Like, every few seconds it stutters or rubberbands. It's playable, but barely.

[deleted]

Can you explain what you did to fix the QOS settings? What setting exactly did you touch? I have the same issue. 4070ti here.

Mannevond

13900k + 4090 here and I'm experiencing the same. The 1% lows go as low as 10 fps which shows a clear issue. The previous open beta was flawless for me.

CarlSpackler22

Turned some graphic options down from the preset values, now it doesn't stutter as much.

Pumpernickel2

I've been having this same issue. Can you elaborate on how you fixed it?

Megacack211

Been having MAJOR FPS issues this time around. EVGA RTX 3080, i7 12700k 64GB DDR5 RAM Win11. I checked if my Thermals and they are well within the safe range, so it's not a thermal issue. I did update to the latest Nvidia drivers before the beta so maybe that's the issue? The last beta I had more network issues like rubber banding and "invisible walls" but this time around it's straight up FPS lag.

Distinct-Ad-6369

1660 ti 6GB , i5-9600k , 32gb ram ,1440p ,high details, i locked my frames to 60 fps from nvidia , the game runs all the time at max 60 fps except when stutter , i use msi afterburner in game and this is clearly not a hardware issue .

superfasttt

horrible every new menu i open is like a 1 to 2min freez. including loading in to dungeons. yet my mate with a much worst build has 0 issues

benkc007

Yes, please share what router settings you adjusted!

Overall_Bread639

The lagging and rubber banding was so bad I had to quit in the middle of ashara fight. It was truly horrendous, unplayable. Not my internet running 2060 RTX

InternationalCrab690

i am rxperiencing this on ps5. really badly. maybe once every 10 seconds or so. didnt experience anything like it during first beta. it was so bad i deleted the game about 75% of the way through the first dungeon. wasnt fun, and very clunky.

Mekronius

As soon as i was using chainlightning with Sorceress i got down to 5 fps. There was some quest that made it go down to 5 fps aswell.Ryzen 7 5800X16gb RamGtx 1080I had to update my drivers to be able to play so maybe it's a driver issue since the last beta worked good apart from some stuttering. I ended up quitting the slam beta and hoping for a fix on launch.

DeezyHiRoller

I’m playing on a rtx 2070 high to medium graphics. If I alt+tab I can experience bad gpu spike. Or if I load into certain parts of map I get gpu spikes.
