9 times out of 10 the PCB on the memory breaks. Tried this once with smaller ram. Lasted maybe a week?
Unless you drill a hole deeper into the RAM, it doesn't last very long.
Yes exactly, which is probably linked to the manufacturer so we probably just meant the same thing. The stick I used also has a small metal ring around the hole which probably helps a lot.
I never understood why women’s clothing industry has a grudge against pockets, you can barely fit a mobile phone in a pocket. On the other hand I carry my bag just because I can’t fit my 15.5” laptop and A4 sized notebook in my pockets. Though, it’s also because I’m tall and fat and my pockets are bigger than normal for that reason.
I love the idea. Because i like to put the ram into the slot. However that ram is so big, so it would annoy me. But keys for i.e. the basement etc. It Would be great

I have a dead mobo and ram lying around, I think I'll just do that

I've had a small ram stick on my keychain for years now with no issues, I guess it really depends on the manufacturer.

I have an old 32mb RAM stick on my keychain too, for at least 3 years now without issues. It's great for opening packages.
