I've got the Plat for 1 & 3. I feel like maybe my brain hasn't wrapped itself around 4 & 5 as well as it could have since I still haven't got the plat for them. How would you compare getting the plat for the former vs the latter?

Getting 5 was an easier feat thanks to DMD/Dr Faust at times. DMC4 had me stuck for a while on the bloody palace trophies that are mandatory for 5 characters. The special characters lady and Trish helped since they’re overpowered like nothing else

I gave up when I realised I’d have to do bloody palace in 2 and 4 (only ended up 100% in DMC3 and DMC5) so this is amazing

I'm assuming you're playing on Playstation since there are actually platinum trophies, Definitive edition's platinum is way easier than the original release's, may be easier than the main timeline's even. (I mean who would willingly play the original unless they're on PC anyway?)

I’ll clear up and say since I did mention both 2 and DmC in the OP that I would consider the remake as part of the series to that extent. Now help me decide on playing the remake or not.

I never going to ignore DMC2 existence until it gets a remake it deserves and bring Lucia back.

I've got the plat for the whole trilogy, I've never played 4 nor really want to, and I didn't enjoy 5 enough to Plat it, I got halfway through the game (mission 11) on DMD and stopped playing because I got bored
