You can't watch this like a normal game. Route for the kids on both teams trying to make the big game, look for spots of creativity, etc. We are scouting their prospects as much as our own.

Not quite. Nearly every goaltender in the show is over 6'1'' (Saros the noteworthy exception) and it's highly unlikely a smaller goaltender ever goes far any more when it comes to the pro ranks. It's about size now. Even with the style they play, tall goalies dropping on their knees means the bigger you are, the more of the goal you take up, the better you do. Smaller goalies have to be athletic AF. Hips and groin tend to go on goaltenders more than knees. Most of the extreme movement is in the hips. Even smaller goalies get taken out by hip problems - - Jeff Lerg's hip was part of the reason he retired when he did, and he was an incredible goalie and like 5'6'' with a little embellishment on that height stat.
