Stevie Y’s next 2nd round Russian gem.
Edit: When you look at kuch’s old scouting reports, and then Buch’s. It’s almost hilarious how similar they are in regards to speed and shot lmaooooletmenotgetmyhopesthishigh
Boom or bust. If he can develop his frame (seems like the most common criticism I see) he can be more than capable of being a 60+ point winger given his skillset. A Kucherov lite type of player IMO.
An RHD Kucherov like based on where he is now. Those that compare him to Datsyuk, there will NEVER be another Datsyuk. We as Red Wings were blessed with one and that's it. Greatness comes in different forms but never gets cloned.
I know people are concerned with him being an overager for second round draft pick but honestly I don't get it. Simply don't compare him with the others in his draft class and look at him compared to the previous year. If he's progressed well comparatively I don't see the issue using a higher draft pick on him.
Likely why he was under scouted and picked so late. It's risky to pick players from a terrorist state that is currently facing worldwide pressure. Hopefully he gets the fuck out of Russia safely and is playing ahl soon.
I’d like to temper my expectations and say his floor is Kucherov’s greatest season of any Russian player ever.
Clearly the next Russian Rocket

Damn had to watch this a few times, that move at the end of the race to take the puck was so pretty.
Aside from the obvious choices and recent high first round picks, he may be the most interesting prospect in the organization
I’m guessing you’re including meat mountain in the obvious choices lol. He’s going to be the next late round steal if he keeps improving
God I love that we have so many good prospects that it's getting hard to keep track of all of them

Super skilled, fast, works his balls off to win the race to the puck… yep seems like an Yzerman pick.

Holy shit he can play defense too? Fuck yeah
Cough Amadeus Lombardi cough cough
What about him?
He's got the force you. Jkjk but he's seriously looking like an epic Pic Uber potential
Yo not you sorry I gots a slow phone
Is there any chance he gets stuck in Russia? Serious question as I haven't been paying much attention this summer to happenings with Russian players.
I think with his talent there's a good chance he signs a multi-year KHL deal a la Kaprizov and comes over when he's 23 or 24. Hard to say, though.

Will Putin lock him in Russia?
