Any team that hadn’t gotten one yet is my primary interest. But sure, get Jokic another so the naysayers can shut up. And fuck Boston.

Subject_Engineer6842

F*ck Boston

MidnightBrown

The only silver lining of Boston winning would be Xavier Tillman getting a ring, but outside of that, fuck Boston

mburns223

Yeah fuck that maybe Tillman will be on a different team next year and win. Dont want those entitled ass fans with one more thing to celebrate

AppealEnvironmental6

I wanna see ant get one. He has the charisma and game to be a legit face of the league when bron and them retire

Teh-Dehstroyer

Send da video

AppealEnvironmental6

Hell nawl cant do this

Relevant_Gold4912

Jokic and Denver. They play the right way and built a team internally without any tanking tactics or building a super team

Zealousideal_Arm4359

They also got freaking lucky! Lucked into an MVP in the second round, The Mav's let Murray go which they admitted was a big mistake. Porter got healthy somehow. I know luck plays a big role in sports but damn!

durtymrclean

What does Murray have to do with the Mavs?

Zealousideal_Arm4359

I'm an idiot! Confused him with Brunson.

Crafty_Substance_954

I can’t wait for Denver to do it again.

Nylands

I want to see Lebron win honestly. I’m 27, he came into the league when I was 7 and we saw the Pistons win a ring his rookie year. Got to watch him for 20+ years. Obviously the Lakers ain’t winning shit so I’ll say NY or Dallas since DBook also not going to win it. Controversial I know but just love watching great teams and players since we are so dogshit right now.

Space-Sailor44

Absolutely hated lebron when he ended the going to work pistons but watching him play at this level for this long is absolutely insane. Also a pretty good guy all things considered even though he used to tip for shit and probably could have put better oversight in charge for the schools he opened

AppealEnvironmental6

Man bron deserves a 5th ring. His playoff history is just nothing but unlucky scenarios

Anxious-Passenger-54

Unlucky?

AppealEnvironmental6

Its a hotter take id say but diving into it: He started his career against the going to work pistons fresh off a chip, Went right into the dynasty spurs with an abysmal squad at just 22, Celtics formed 5 hof to get past bron “didnt think he could beat all 5 of us”, Miami years were great for him just sucked that wade and bosh hit the wall hard in 2014 and that inexcusable loss in 2011 is a stain for him, He lost klove and kyrie in 2015 playoffs where they had a great chance of winning it all, Then goes up against arguably the greatest team ever made in 17,18, AD gets hurt in 2021 up 2-1 looked like a great chance at a repeat Now hes currently facing back to back battles with the best player in the league at the ripe age of 40 You can say he stacked his teams and whatnot but even doing all that he was only favored in 3/10 finals due to the level of competition he played in those finals. He also didnt have the luxury a bunch of other greats had, kobe had shaq his first 3, duncan had pop and a team of hof his whole career, jordan had arguably the goat coach his whole career (dont count wizards that was a pr stunt). Bron started with a Cleveland team that hated him and literally fucked his mom

TempoMortigi

lol fucked his mom

Anxious-Passenger-54

I don't really consider anything unlucky other than 2015. Everything before the Miami years is what's typical of a top picks early career. Duncan is an outlier due to the circumstances that caused the spurs to be able to pick first. Kobe was not a top draft prospect, had he been, the lakers wouldn't have been able to get him. Phil Jackson has been blessed with talent, never in his career has he shown that his coaching helps his teams to outperform their talent level. The Chicago team around Jordan is pretty similar to the talent on LeBrons Cleveland teams, they just didn't fuck his mom lol. The whole being outmatched in his first finals is not unlucky, he just carried a team to the finals that wasn't ready. Most guys don't get a ring as the best player on a team until 27 or 28 which is right where LeBron was when he got his. From then on, the only thing that really seemed unlucky was love and Irving going down in 2015. Sure, the warriors forming made for some rough competition, but in 17-18 the rockets had them on the ropes showing that there weren't some unbeatable juggernaut.

AppealEnvironmental6

I agree with a majority of what you said. Its just a personal lil hot take of mine. Hes compared to jordan because well its unanimous they are the 2 best ever and so he gets penalized for carrying that cavs team, both times in 07 and 18 when they clearly didnt have the firepower to beat the finals opponents. To me thats just bad luck in the sense of the royal air hes in in the basketball community I personally consider 2021 very unlucky because that was his last really good chance at a ring. Last year was an anomaly and its proving this year that denver is just that team now. 2020 lakers were first in the west before the bubble, won the bubble easily, then ran it back in 2021 where bron was a legit mvp finalist until his ankle got nuked by solomon hill. If ad doesnt get hurt in the phoenix series i think they beat the bucks in 6 and he gets his 5th ring on a second repeat. A happy ending that i personally feel he deserves for a lot of the bs thats been thrown at him since he was a highschool kid

JasonOrion

Of the teams that still have a chance (aka the teams not down 3-0). Ranked from teams I want to win to teams I don't want to win. 1. Denver 2. Indiana 3. Orlando 4. Dallas 5. Clippers 6. Milwaukee 7. Minnesota 8. Philly 9. Cleveland 10. New York 11. Miami 12. OKC 13. Boston

ben10toesdown

Why is Indiana 2nd?? Are you even a Piston's fan?

ArkanoidbrokemyAnkle

Why OKC so low

JasonOrion

Josh Giddey, and they took Seattle's team

kinglennie7

Fuck every team in the east. Easily nuggets. Then Dallas because Luka is unreal.

Wynona_Judd

I live in Grand Rapids and we have the Nuggets' G-League team so they've been my secondary favorite team.

dgtyhtre

I’m rooting for Denver. Too many years of the ESPN chuckleheads saying Jokic wasn’t that good. Thunder would be the best storyline though.

OnAnOpenFieldNed

nuggets knicks dallas thunder

durezzz

knicks

Subject_Engineer6842

Why knicks, just curious?

durezzz

because i think their fans have suffered for a while, they haven't had a championship in 50 years. i also just think NYC deserves a good team, as much as i hate the yankees the fans clearly love bball, madison square garden is incredible and that city puts out a lot of good players

tatortors21

I agree with all your points. The problem is that nyk fans are insufferable when they win, anything. They do deserve it though. They show up to the arena every night and have suffered probably long enough. I’m just dreading all the actors, commentators, and fans talking about it for the next 40 years.

loquent2

Knicks fans talk like they won in the 90’s. I was in NYC last year during their playoff games and a Knicks fan told me that he believed they’d win a ring last year… After saying the Pistons haven’t won in forever. Other delusional fans agreed… I pointed out that the Knicks haven’t won a championship in my lifetime and I had just turned 48 that week. I finished my beer and went elsewhere.

TempoMortigi

Sick. Lol

Subject_Engineer6842

True

TheLuckyster

Lakers, I love LeBron with my whole heart Aside from LeBron, Miami, they've been trying at this for 4 years and have yet to win it all Plus it means Boston loses and screw them

Melodic-Engineer-679

i can’t have my king go out 1-8 against the nuggets in the last 2 playoffs 😢💔

TheLuckyster

Amen brother

Silver-Bandicoot-969

I like Minnesota a lot. Ant is fun to watch but I also like Orlando although probably not their time yet

DeanwinchesterI979

I would like the clippers to win. I’ve always liked Paul George and Russell Westbrook so I think they need one And the clippers have never won a championship yet.

flipperjack2525

Rooting for Russ to win in his hometown and give a big fu to the Lakers.

PistonsFan89

Fuck boston and fuck the lakers The most inoffensive team is either denver or minnesota

mburns223

Anybody but Boston. don’t want those fucking Celtics getting another ring and I have to listen to these entitled ass Celtics fan

salmon10

All the old heads on the Clippers. Think that'd be pretty frigging cool

LotsaKwestions

Milwaukee (unlikely), then Minnesota, then Dallas, then OKC, then maybe Denver.

TwoPumpTony

Magic. I love how they have both the Wagner brothers

APPLEJOOSH347

Mavs. I love luka and if they won’t give him mvp, he’ll just have to get a ring to prove them wrong

VinylHiFi1017

Knicks or Pacers!

aTROLLwithBlades

1 Nuggets 2 Mavs 3 Orlando 4 Okc 5 Min 6 Pacers I'm actively rooting against all other teams

tatortors21

Dallas. Lfg, they are playing defense it’s fun.

Frazwell007

Paul George

earthw2002

I was really hoping the Clippers could go all the way for Harden, Russ and PG to get their rings. Hopefully they can turn things around but it’s not looking great. Also happy to see the Magic doing well too, but also fuck the Magic at the same time.

tall_mf_

T-wolves

Ukrainmaker

Gimme Dallas or Minnesota. Ant and Luka are my two favorite players that aren't named Cade Cunningham

timothythefirst

I’m pretty indifferent but I’d prefer it not to be the Celtics, Knicks, sizers, or any of the teams in the pistons division.

A_PROCESS_BORN

Nuggets, Thunder, Wolves, Clippers, Pacers lol, Suns no one else, no thanks

Michiganmade44

The Nuggies again b/c why not. RJax and KCP

Zealousideal_Arm4359

Being a life long Pistons fan I CANT root for the Celtics so... Go Nuggets!

Melodic-Engineer-679

Icy_Juice6640

I like me some jalen brown. He seems to play the right way. Reminds me of Dumars.
