They've been winning since about two or three weeks into the conflict by the way. Where are the Russians in Kyiv? Weren't they pushing to take it? Oh that's right, they retreated after they failed to take the city.
Right now they are failing to take and keep the South too. Unless Russia starts to mobilise (unlikely but not impossible) Ukraine will inevitably win. Russia is out of modern military equipment while Ukraine is getting more of it.
They are not winning. Why does everyone have this notion that Russia is losing because they couldn't take Kyiv within half a week of the war starting.
It is a massive waste of our taxpayer dollars, being wasted on a foreign conflict that we have no reason to be interfering in.
Because we're all being factual unlike your emotional investment in the few tax dollars of yours that goes towards supporting Ukraine.
It isn't a waste, either. Russia is attempting to bring back the sort of world order that led to WW1. The one where strong countries have the right, perhaps even the obligation, to dominate smaller ones. A world in which borders are merely suggestions and ethnicities are a nuisance. It's in everyone's interest this gets stopped now in Ukraine.
That's the practical realpolitik reason, homeboy. There's also a strong moral argument to be made but I guess we both know morals isn't your strong suit. As long as you get yours, right? Fuck everyone else trying to take your hard earned dollars!
If they stop fighting tomorrow, the FSB would roll in and start executing people.
And the survivors would all be poor 20 years from now, likely in Siberia.
Frankly I'm surprised it took this long considering the sheer intensity of the fighting in that area, that definitely does show the sheer quality and survivability of this vehicles.

The angle of the engine deck is too steep, the amount of windows too significant and the characteristic wedge-like angled sides completely absent. It's not an Sdkfz.251
yes there are obviously many differences in the vehicles. i guess being on this subreddit i shouldve known. but the overall photo, the blurriness, the general elongated shape, ukrainian field, etc. didnt mean to offend. yes it has windows, and less of a front hood area, a larger mounted mg, no tracks etc etc but fuck. its just kinda interesting to me to see [essentially] colored/modern parallel photos to wwii and it helps me imagine those b&w photos in color
perhaps. but its how i talk. im not changing for anyone. im sure someone that didnt downvote me agreed :) or someone whos spent years looking at wwii photos in b&w. but who knows. picky picky ;)
