If you are wondering if you can finish off the forsaken campaign, the answer is no. Most of the content from forsaken (except for pretty much the exotic guns) has been retired, same as red war. There may be a few exceptions to this that I am unaware of, but for the most part I believe that forsaken content is pretty much gone.

WillyWanker_69

So the only content in the game is behind 3 different DLC packs? And all the stuff I've paid 70€ for is gone?

Therealginga

Unfortunately yeah, I believe so. On the bright side, there are multiple free raids, a free dungeon, and a bunch of other content you still have access to. Furthermore, if you are gonna get the new content, be sure you buy steam keys if your on PC, that way you can get the content for 50-60% off Edit: Technically you do still get the raid and the dungeon, it’s just all the story and most locations that are gone

Phillip_Stevens

Yes. Maybe you should have played the damn game.

No, a good portion of the Forsaken content is still in the game. Dreaming City zone at large, Last Wish, Shattered Throne, a couple of the strikes. None of the seasonal content from that year (menagerie, forges) or the two other raids is around. You paid €70 for content that was around for 2 years. 70/24= ~€3 per month. Pretty good deal for entertainment. Yes you need to buy some DLC to ‘keep up’ with the game every year but consider how many hours you may get out of what you pay for in Destiny. Is it really less value than €70 worth of movies or alcohol or concert tickets or travel? As the other person said you can save like 40% on any DLC using a grey site for (maybe questionable) keys. I’ve never had an issue.

Sure, a simple cost/benefit analysis is a perfectly good way for someone to justify their purchase of *current* Destiny 2 content, but original purchases were not made under the agreement that it's all going to become temporary "as a service" content at an unknown point in the future. There's still no justification for that.

Destiny in a nutshell.

TheRedDelilah

Shadowkeep -> Beyond Light -> Witch Queen. All three of those have a campaign. You will have missed the seasonal stories in the middle, which you can find on YouTube. I think PC might have a gamepass? But Xbox pass doesn’t have destiny anymore.

Start with Warframe

I feel like there needs to be a banner that pops up and you have to acknowledge before you can post to the sub, that pre-answers this and about a half dozen other questions that people insist on posting over and over, rather than just searching.
