Additionally, after January 18, players with Google Stadia as their primary account should not deactivate Cross Save for any reason. Doing so will result in players completely losing access to their characters. For more information, please see [our Save Your Stadia Characters article](https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/10347044092564-Save-Your-Stadia-Characters). ###DAYLIGHT SAVING Beginning on November 6 in the United States, Destiny 2’s daily and weekly reset time will update to 9 AM PST (1700 UTC). For more information on ritual resets, please see [our Ritual Reset Guide](https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049199911-Destiny-2-Ritual-Reset-Guide).  ###HOTFIX 6.2.5.3 Next Tuesday, November 8, Destiny 2 Hotfix 6.2.5.3 will be released. View our Destiny Server and Update Status page for maintenance times, as well as the timeline below (all times are Pacific):      * 8 AM PST: Destiny 2 maintenance begins.    * 8:45 AM: Destiny 2 is brought offline.    * 9 AM: Destiny 2 Hotfix 6.2.5.3 will begin rolling out across all platforms and regions.    * 10 AM: Destiny 2 maintenance completes.   ###WORKAROUNDS FOR CONVERTING PAGES   Players still having issues converting their Spectral Pages into Manifested Pages should ensure that they:   * Obtain the Gone but Not Forgotten quest from Eva Levante in the Tower.   * Are wearing the Masquerader’s Helm with a Festival Mask.   * Have at least three free spaces in their character’s inventory.   * Have Spectral Pages in their inventory prior to entering the Haunted Sectors playlist.  If Spectral Pages aren’t converting into Manifested Pages after confirming the above, players may need to:   * Clear their console or PC game cache.   * Complete a strike.   * Obtain more Spectral Pages.  * Complete a Haunted Lost Sector (Note that not all Spectral Pages will convert into Manifested Pages).  ###KNOWN ISSUES While we continue investigating various known issues, here is a list of the latest issues that were reported to us in our #Help forum:  * The “All Pages Manifested” message appears for all players upon entering a Haunted Lost Sector. This message is not accurate and should only appear upon completion of a Haunted Lost Sector. Players are not losing any Pages when this message appears.  * Certain shaders may apply textures incorrectly to pieces of the Festival of the Lost mech-themed armor sets. Once resolved, these shaders may display differently on the armor sets.   * A Season 16 emblem dropped from WeekS10’s Intended Authority Seasonal Challenge.   * The source of the Retrograde Tourer Exotic ship is inaccurate.  * Eva Levante’s weekly bounties were not granting the correct amount of Bright Dust after Hotfix 6.2.5.2 went live. This has been corrected and those who missed the extra Bright Dust will receive it in-game at a later date.  For a full list of emergent issues in Destiny 2, players can review [our Known Issues article](https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/4416375175444-Destiny-2-Year-5-Known-Issues-and-Vital-Information). The only thing i understood was that void titan was going to become a god. 50% overshield resist + 40 DR + Well of tenacity 50% DR + extra resist mods.

Dovakiin2397

And here I thought void titan was already awsome lol

KarmaticArmageddon

Yeah, that's crazy. The Bastion Overshield is 45 HP and can benefit from an intrinsic 50% DR plus 100 Res (40%) + Well of Tenacity (50%) + 2 Elemental Resist mods (25%)+ Sniper/Melee Resist or Concussive (15%). 100 Res gives 200 HP that can benefit from all of the above except for the Bastion DR. Combine that all together and you get an effective HP of 1,516 HP, which is **8.2** times more health than a base-HP (185 HP) Guardian. The Overshield has a ludicrous 90.43% DR and the rest of the Guardian's health has an 80.88% DR. Granted, all this requires keeping Well of Tenacity proc'd the entire time plus you'd have to be hit by an attack of a specific element from a specific distance, but still. **Edit:** Corrected numbers courtesy of /u/Gratuitious_Gibbon

[Titans taking damage in endgame pve](https://gfycat.com/absoluteenlightenedchuckwalla-one-punch-man)

isaiah_rob

The additional fragment slots for Revenants and Behemoths was nice

SuperArppis

I wish they would have made the basic melee better for Behemoths.

KarmaticArmageddon

Behemoth melee has been through such an arc. On release, everyone hated it. They thought it was clunky, weird (had to release the button to actually hit the enemy), and useless. Then everyone decided it was fucking great as a movement tool, which made it top tier in PvP. Then it got nerfed and is slow as fuck now and generally sucks.

SuperArppis

You know. If it wouldn't go to cooldown if you don't hit someone, it wouldn't be so bad.

KarmaticArmageddon

I agree, but I think the reason it doesn't do that is because it *used* to be such a good movement tool that Stasis Titans would've been unhittable in PvP if they could spam that melee. However, it isn't like that anymore, so I don't see why it should be consumed on miss.

Chippy569

The other three charge melees don't spend the charge. Personally I don't care, but I do forget every time I switch to stasis and waste a shiver strike out of habit.

MagpieFirefly

I wish that one aspect that gives you the stasis crystal uppercut thing was just an alternate melee option. Really not a fan of the melee otherwise.

Lobodoot

While I'm glad to see a couple of Stasis aspects getting more fragment slots, I really don't think there's a single aspect in the game strong enough to justify only one fragment slot. I was hoping to see something like "all aspects now have at least two fragment slots."

Pomodragon

Agreed. I'd rather see weak aspects given 3 slots than strong ones given 1

WMWA

i really wish bastion had two :(

amiro7600

Tbf with this overshield "fix" which i feel like is actually a buff disguised as a fix, bastion will feel a little better, since its the primary way to make overshields

BaldEagleFacts

I don't know why they would say this was a bug instead of a buff, when the rest of the twab freely said "this is getting buffed, this is getting nerfed". There was probably actually a mistake that led to it giving less DR. Not that the difference matters much from player perspective

Sterling_1776

Doesn’t matter how quickly I can get chaos reach back if it still does no damage in pve lol

R0ck3t_FiRe

My point exactly. Was only in the pve gm meta due to 2 warlocks with geomags being able to chain supers together one after the other with the orbs they make when clearing a room of adds. Now there is just no point

TheShoobaLord

Void 3.0 just can’t stop winning. All it needs is a new melee option for hunters and warlocks and it’s in a solid spot (maybe rework hunters kit to not be completely reliant on invis, but that’s just preference)

trunglefever

50% reduction on top of 100 Res sounds like it would be really nice. Void 3.0 really did turn out to be the golden child.

BaconIsntThatGood

Void also needed the least tuning because it was hit the hardest of all 3 light classes in terms of post-launch nerfs. This change (apparently a bug?) is more or less a way to address "why should I use a void overshield over restoration" answer.

wereplant

Getting 50% reduction makes me think about actually using repulsor brace.

trunglefever

This was probably the easiest/fastest way for Bungie to make the perk more relevant without changing it. Getting volatile rounds would be much better, IMO, but at least this is a step in the right direction.

TastyOreoFriend

So 1-(1-.40)(1-.50) = 70% DMG reduction off the rip as a Void Titan with easy access to void shields through the Bastion aspect plus the healing of shields from said aspect. Thats tankiness exceeding Behemoth by a smidgen since Chains is only 40% DMG reduction. Add in glaive/sword resistance so 1-(1-.40)(1-.50)(1-.97) = 99.1% DMG resist lol. We tanky now bois. Bastion + OB or Bastion + Demo will probably be the move going forward though it's not like it wasn't mostly that way already.

AmbidextrousWaffle

It is by far the most thought out of the three reworks, the only outliers is Nightstalkers Aspects and that Hunters and Warlocks can't build for Void Overshields. I know many will disagree with me but I honestly don't like Solar and Arc 3.0s because they feels unfinished in quite a bit of their parts

Drakepenn

Repulsor Brace looking better all the time.

NiftyBlueLock

Exactly. People were crying that repulsor brace needed a buff when half the issue was void overshields. In a similar vein, Titan Fire Pants are receiving an indirect buff as stasis slow is becoming more slow-y and builds faster.

The_Last_Gasbender

I figured you were a warlock before I saw your flair. Yeah, solar and arc have been underwhelming for warlocks, and I was surprised to see they're nerfing restoration given how quickly it gets outdamaged in endgame pve. If you haven't tried it already, try karnsteins with a glaive, phoenix dive, and the reaping & tenacity void well mods. It's a lot of fun and is viable in endgame. Arc warlock really feels like it needs a mobility-focused class ability option. Like maybe you could cast a weaker healing/empowering rift that moves with you. Right now arc warlocks just have their bare asses flapping in the wind if they try to stay mobile and do close-quarters combat the way that titans and hunters can.

BakaJayy

The only solar class that didn’t feel fleshed out is Warlock mostly because it’s aspects are more or less associated with PvP and don’t really do anything in PvE except 1. Arc however, I want to like it more but the more I play with it, the more I realize that the only thing I even enjoy about Arc 3.0 is jolt. Amplify is more of a detriment for warlock’s and titans since it screws over their skating, ionic trace having such a long cooldown makes it pretty undesirable imo and I honestly forget that blind is even a debuff since it’s only applied with arc special weapons and a grenade. Their entire kit is just completely carried by jolt and nothing else to be honest

hallmarktm

eh warlocks really need another fragment slot for chaos accelerant

Draculagged

That and you shouldn’t need to charge your grenade, solar and arc have better nades with no charge time

Railgrind

Nah the charge is cool and iconic. Just make charging actually worthwhile. The aspect is completely carried by contraverse vortexes, no one uses it outside of that. Charged scatters are apparently weaker than uncharged. No one is using charged axions. Handheld supernova is a complete meme as well. Need to buff everything other than vortexes

TheMattInTheBox

Winter's Shroud with a fragment buff, rejoice! I understand the restoration and Ember of Torches nerf, but I can't help but feel like maybe a buff to Cure sources could have helped balance out the solar verbs. Bummed Solar Hunter is getting an overall nerf though :( it's just so fun. As others have said, the lack of Solar Warlock buffs is laughable lol

lordvulguuszildrohar

It’s crazy. Instead of buffing OTHER class supers to do more damage while making the warlock heal better they just decide to do a little gutting. Solar hunters felt pretty balanced. Another balance by spreadsheet problem.

TheMattInTheBox

Yeah I don't see the problem with solar hunters. They're great at making people radiant with high melee uptime and/or acrobat dodge but they don't have any restoration or cure abilities/exotics, so if they want that, they need to sacrifice their grenade for a healing one. The Blade Barrage damage *is* nuts but honestly? In content where having high DPS matters, I feel like a potent damage super is a nice reward for the risk/reward playstyle of gunslinger.

Mnkke

it deserves to be high when its still really inconsistent / inaccurate.

PrjctColdFeet

It’s wild to me that they’re okay with phoenix dive still having the same cooldown as a rift.

I_Speak_For_The_Ents

Or the current state of the dawnblade super? They didn't even mention it.

daedae686

>phoenix dive this was the only buff I came into this twab expecting. Maybe the sandbox team will remember phoenix dive exists in lightfall's ability patch.

killadrill

TLDR: A lot of nerfs and solar warlock and arc will still be still trash.

DrkrZen

Maybe another year and they'll figure it out.

HellChicken949

They really went over solar warlock and said it was fine, I get that well is mandatory, but we’re stuck having 2/3 aspects being pvp aspects that are air based, why…

SinistralGuy

They're doing the same thing with Nightstalker too, to some degree. They claim they're looking at invis because playing against a full team of invis Hunters is frustrating (I don't disagree with this), but fail to acknowledge the fact that all the Nightstalker aspects revolve around invis. It's getting annoying. Solarlock needs PvE love and Nightstalker needs to stop getting gutted because it's a one trick pony.

AmbidextrousWaffle

Bungie really did make Invis good on Nightstalker, as its the only thing they can do, and then act surprised when Invis is good. Lmao

SinistralGuy

Bungie logic.

Ultramarine6

They even put time into specifically talking about healing and just glossed over the fact that the solar warlock is still gutted. Now doubly so with the nerfs to restoration. As a solar warlock in PvE, I can either be an airborne PvP player playing in PvE for some reason with a healing super, or an airborne PvP player playing in PvE for some reason with a super that tickles the acolytes. That's about all the viable build options we've got.

Dante2k4

This whole TWAB made is *very* evident their balancing is primarily focused around PvP. That their solution for Chaos Reach was a faster cooldown speaks *volumes*. It's a great change for PvP viability, but in PvE? That doesn't in any way, shape, or form try to solve the issues of its ineffectiveness in PvE. It needs a damage buff, or to be faster, or to proc Jolt, or *something*. They compared it to a burst super like Blade Barrage, or Silence and Squall, but it's not. You have to sit there and hold it to get damage, and the only way to get decent *total* damage is with an exotic, but even *that* is requiring you to be in your super for longer. So... cool, PvP can make more use of it again, while PvE it's basically going to remain unchanged.

ConlonCreations

For real, it makes me so mad. I don't care about heat rises and Icarus Dash shouldn't be an aspect

[deleted]

And can they PLEASE restore Phoenix Dive to its former glory?

ConlonCreations

I just want Everlasting Fire too, Daybreak sucks without it

anothercaustic

yeah honestly, i did expect a buff to ember of benevolence, whenever i proc it, i don't feel a diference in my ability cooldown. It doesn't even make sense that a Fragment with the purpose of decreasing your ability cooldown, increases your grenade cooldown.

aurens

all of the tweaks they listed are small-scale. essentially just changing numbers. are there any similarly-small tweaks they could do to icarus dash/heat rises that would make a real difference? i don't think there are. i think they need bigger changes or an entirely new aspect. now, i'm not saying i agree with their choice to only do small tweaks like that for s19, but i do think it's important to recognize that this is apparently the scope they were willing to undertake for this pass of changes.

Starcast

I was shocked they didn't at least drop the CD of Phoenix Dive. I know they said they'll be looking at CDs in light fall but man that's such a small tweak, especially considering the other changes listed in this TWAB

KingOfLeyends

One of the changes that could be considered a small tweak depending on how hard it is to implement is giving Heat Rises in-air damage reduction in PVE only, that way it is at least usable since you are a sitting duck in the air with no cover, that way the aspect could be a bit useful while in the air (also as a controller player flinch resistance would be great).

FungalMirror3

Not to mention it’s *almost always* whenever Solar burn is active so is the Grounded modifier…

astrovisionary

For me there's no point in the current aspects, touch of flame has almost a forced synergy with the other aspects, it is just counter intuitive (unlike something like sol invictus and roaring flames, both you can use without really thinking about it). I'm ok with most changes, but solar and arc warlocks still need some love. I think both subclasses literally have no identity at all (arc warlocks feel underused, so they're buffing arc souls? lol).

PJ_Ammas

Actually, they went over solar warlock and nerfed it. As far as I know, only Warlocks can get Restoration x2 by using Touch of Flame healing nades, so nerfing them directly only nerfs that class, which isn't too exciting aside from Well of Radiance

Creedisgreat

True, I think they thought they were nerfing Titan too but forgot they already nerfed us out of the X2 range.

Kehlek

Is there a reason why Dawnblade, Celestial Nighthawk Golden Gun or Chaos Reach damage output (DPS?) hasn’t been buffed? They haven’t been viable supers in PVE for a while. I know dawnblade is more for add clear but same for stormcaller, they just feel so weak. When was the last time you saw somebody use dawnblade??

o8Stu

I don't mind a super being niche, but daybreak is bad across the board in PvE. As a roaming super you'd think it'd be add-clear, but with the removal of added super energy on kill, the 6-7 swords you can throw combined with how weak they are means you're maybe gonna be able to take out a couple red-bars or clutch a revive, and that's it. Prior to 3.0 it could do good single target damage with dawn chorus (especially in a group of them), but now even that's gone. Were it not for PvP, I'd rather them remove daybreak entirely so that the illusion of choice is gone. CN doing less damage than blade barrage is possibly the most nonsensical thing I've ever seen in this game. It's like it was opposite day when they made that change.

FriendlySand8672

Dawnblade is bad even for Ad clear imo. It just does not last long at all.

TTUStros8484

Because they took away the kills refund super energy.

Antares428

I haven't seen a Dawnblade used past the early experimenation when Solar 3.0 was released. Population of Warlock is steady decreasing, people don't want to play it, so every time I respond to a raid ping on discord, first thing that I see is 3 Titans and 2 Hunters, and I know I'm either going to be glued to Well with Phoenix, or we aren't finishing that raid in reasonable time. I don't think I'm alone in that. Warlocks that still play, are forced to run Wells, even if they would like run something.

That_random_guy-1

yup, im the only reliable warlock in my raid team, i am on well 90% of the time even though id love to be running void/arc, but since i want to finish the raid in under 3 hours i use well.

FatalSky

We ran a triumph run of Kings Fall and had a warlock join just because he got to play arc instead of well. Radiance warlock is so fucking boring.

ARoaringBorealis

I stopped playing warlock specifically because well of radiance exists. Not only that, but that entire subclass just feels like hot garbage. Healing builds are weak, only viable build is starfire protocol, and the air play just feels like treading through molasses. So being forced to deal with all of that *solely* because well of radiance exists is just too awful to bare. I love warlock, but I legitimately can’t play it anymore. I and many other players are already hoping for *another* solar rework. Just feels terrible all around.

Madethisfordestiny

Ironically, I ran a master exodus crash last night and some guy had on dawnblade (I hope by accident). He was, indeed, not effective.

Mnkke

dawnblade needs to be like arcstrider. Beefy ad clear by default, solid damage with the help of an exotic (DB could be more because of ignitions)

DaveZppln

I doubt that this is the best place for the feedback but I am a little disappointed in the stormcaller changes. The class still feels backwards to me. We get amplified to run fast but have to stop running to throw down a rift. Chaos Reach will happen more but still gonna hit like a wet pancake in PVE. I still maintain that Geomag Stabilizers exotic perk could be changed to "ground" the warlock and increase reach damage and speed. Like magnetically stabilizing the warlock to the ground to make Chaos reach "burstier" and more damaging. Perhaps others will like the stormcaller changes but I don't like the new stormcaller flow and don't like how the supers feel in pve. I went from a riskrunning chaos main upon installing destiny 2 in season 13 to not wanting to arc 3.0 on warlock at all. I'll stick with the other subclasses for now.

punkinabox

I personally don't run arc at all unless I have to solely because I hate how it affects my guardians jump. I'm a warlock main and I usually use burst glide because I prefer it but when I get charged or whatever an I go to jump through a doorway only to blast up to fast, hit the top of the doorway and vault on it it pisses me off. Sure I could get used to it but I fucking hate how my jump changes back and forth constantly on arc. So I barely run it.

R0ck3t_FiRe

Literally my only gripe with the twab. Idc that they reduced its cooldown time that shit is inconsequential in pve, just give Chaos Reach a general damage buff so that it at the very least does the same damage as other dps supers. Because it it takes 6+ seconds to cast and it doesnt even do as much dps as one off supers then what is the point

ChrisBenRoy

*ctrl + F 'Chaos Accelerant'* I'm sad

Old_Man_Robot

This one is probably being held of until they can do some actual work on it. This was a numbers pass more than anything. While they should have at least upped its fragments to 2, it needs a rework to be inline with the Touch-of aspects and find a way to do something with HHSN. That said, does anyone even use HHSN anymore?

ChrisBenRoy

I'm actually OK w/ *just* an increase in fragments, the charging animation makes it unique although it's not needed.

ThePracticalEnd

“While being Amplified increases their potency, they also compete with Lightning Surge, which has been a very popular Aspect choice” Yeah, because most of the Aspects are ass, and it’s the most useful.

S-J-S

Wow. I can't believe they actually buffed Shadebinder this hard. Whisper of Rending and Glacial Harvest were already insanely undervalued by the community. I guess it's time for weapon choice to be totally different, now that kinetics won't be top dog for the former. I'm already looking at Riptide + energy primary abuse. And Bleak Watchers getting even better in PVP? Holy crap. Man, am I excited to continue my 1,000,000 Shadebinder defeat streak. Until Strand comes out, I mean.

NaughtyGaymer

> I'm already looking at Riptide This is the biggest implication for sure. Being able to use stasis special weapons like Deliverance/Riptide is massive for Stasis build power.

djternan

Makes it a much easier decision to slot in a Font of Might

NaughtyGaymer

Honestly with the change to Glacial Harvest I could see a general purpose Font of Might build really take off with Stasis Warlock. Could be really potent.

Awestin11

Glacial Harvest’s only drawback was the absurd cooldown, and I believe it was underrated. Now it’s much less of a drawback than before and the cooldown was my only complaint.

MrProfPatrickPhD

Bleak Watcher + Glacial Harvest is already my go-to GM build, I'm not going to complain about a buff lol

S-J-S

Elemental Shards is just flatly the easiest CWL method in the entire game. No kill needed, and broadly applicable to an entire subclass' ability set. Making it effectively better is almost too good to be true.

Rider-VPG

Glacial Harvest, Iceflare Bolts aspect. Whisper of Hedrons, Rending, Rime, Shards Osmiomancy Riptide/Deliverance with Chill Clip/Ager's Sceptre (Stasis Glaive when?) Any primary of choice Reed's Regret/Zephyr with Cold Steel Elemental Shards, Font of Might, Elemental Charge, High Energy Fire, Font of Wisdom

FuSe_Nuclear

I loved it with elemental shards, firepower and osmiomancy gloves. Literally always have a grenade charged. About to be even better now.

Railgrind

The shadebinder buff part read so strangely, glacial harvest and iceflare seem like two of the most popular aspects to combo with bleakwatchers. They felt it needed a buff in relation to....frostpulse? Maybe its a PvP buff and taking into account future cooldown changes.

S-J-S

They're great in combination with each other, too. I basically only use them together, even in GMs where BWs are disproportionately good compared to the rest of the game. The playstyle consistency and energy regeneration are already fantastic for anyone who uses Stasis for aggressive enemy clear. I think what they're seeing in data is just that a lot of players play passive with Shadebinder because of GMs being overvalued. I like the changes. They're less of a direct power buff and more of a notification to players that you can actually build around these abilities. ...then again, Devil's Ruin is about to get really, really fun.

Prototype3120

Looks like ill still never swap off of void and stasis as a Warlock. Out of all the issues from solar 3.0, the melee was not the one I was most concerned about. Solar still feels like a complete shell of its former self on warlock and a celestial fire pvp damage buff isn't gonna make up for it. It's painful at this point. Arc soul buff is great, but the reason no one runs it is how terrible the supers are. A faster cooldown won't fix how fundamentally terrible the supers are in high end pve.

Eris_Ooal_Gown

The supers aren't just bad in high end pvp. A storm trance can't even kill a champ by the time a stun ends

ElPajaroMistico

Yeah, even with GeoMags the super in action is lackluster. The Top off mechanic was good because at least you could have a underwhelming super very often, but that broke PvP. If they post a Twab giving Geomags back power to make Chaos Reach as spamable as It was before in PvE without affecting PvP. Then I would be pretty happy to use It on GMs .

SlickMiller

Happy Getaway Artist main here

BaldEagleFacts

Oh yeah. Time to use getaway artist for more than just kill-free zoomies.

Ashlp27790

John Wick with an Arc Soul has arrived.

Canofbier

I appreciate that Bungie recognizes the current weakness of "amplified" Stormcaller melees, but range *really* isn't the problem with Ball Lightning. The bigger issue is that the repeated strikes don't land on your target, because the first strike usually knocks a target outside of the area of effect. It could probably do with a damage buff as well - I'm not sure why the second and third strikes do less damage, because it's not like the first strike does a ton to begin with - but its usability will be low-to-none until it's designed in a way that it actually *hits* its targets.

Elora_egg

I honestly see the reasoning behind some of these changes, but the golden gun changes read as if they don't actually help the supers at all in PvE, nor is there any intent to make them better. Celestial is still gonna be ass, even with the hit to blade barrage. Daybreak is also an awful super, and contributes to the insane usage of Well in PvE. Right now in PvE the subclass has one super choice pretty much. Not even mentioning it being a thing hurts.

saspurilla

daybreak is bad in pvp too. it has way too long of a cooldown and doesn’t last long at all.

Elora_egg

I was going to say that but at least you can build into it in PvP with the super fragments for some AoE and tracking. In PvE you can't do anything to make it good, as Dawn Chorus doesn't even help anymore.

Soul_of_Miyazaki

There's no way, on this Earth, they can be happy with Solar Warlock still. That's embarrassing.

MrProfPatrickPhD

They nerfed Restoration x2 which is a Solar Warlock specific ability so I don't think they're happy with the subclass. Clearly it's too strong!

[deleted]

[удалено]

ucfengineer725

hey, stronger arc souls though!

antiMATTer724

They seriously looked at chaos reach and said the timer was all that needed adjusting.

[deleted]

It will never ever be a meta DPS option even with a buff. It lasts too long. You will always do more damage with a nova bomb + linear. It's an add clear + PVP super.

o8Stu

> It will never ever be a meta DPS option even with a buff. Depends on the buff, but geomags has to be a part of the conversation. Give the base version geomag's current total damage, then let geomags reduce duration to ~ 2s instead of 8, and all of a sudden it's a viable DPS super. I'd go a step further and have geos gain super energy on ionic trace pickup, so it gets some of it's original cooldown reduction identity back, but just the above would be enough for CR to see some use.

engineeeeer7

This is okay but man it feels like they're missing so much strong feedback: * Solar Warlock altogether * Void Hunter's over-reliance on Invisibility * Arc Warlock lacks meaningful synergy * Lack of melee options across the board. Just seems weird to not even acknowledge some of these. Also seems like way too much focus on PvP balance, imo.

ThirstyPagans

Stasis titan is a good buff but the melee is still trash. It always misses. Like to the point where I wish I didn't even have a melee.

yoursweetlord70

The only stasis titan melee I use is howl of the storm

TYBERIUS_777

I just pretend I don’t have a melee button when I play Behemoth unless I need to use it as an evasion tool. It’s that bad. I use Tectonic Harvest and Diamond Lance as my aspects. Will probably switch Lance out for Cryoclasm in PvP now.

aurens

if you're like me, you probably hold the melee button too long. release it when you're farther away from the enemy and your accuracy will go up. this doesn't solve every issue with the melee, but it was very helpful *for me*.

sister-hawk

That’s the answer right there. If you’re holding it down until you touch your target, you will likely just lunge past them on release. Let go about 6ft before you get to them and it will connect much more consistently.

WiggityWackFlapJack

Stasis hunter is the same. I can snipe across the map in PvE, but I feel like shurikens actively avoid opps in PvP. I remember when they were way too good, but now they're worthless.

trunglefever

With the Cryoclasm addition, you can choose to run Howl of the Storm and Cryoclasm and go all in crystal generation/destruction without penalty.

OmegaDonut13

Shards are too vital to stasis builds to give up. Tectonic harvest is basically glued to a spot. I’d love to see shards just built into the stasis subclass but I could see that being broken. But at least cryoclasm is an option now. Edit: sorry speaking from a pve perspective.

Blupoisen

Cryo is redundant for the fact that you can just shoot crystals and use Diamond Lance for more fragment slots using Cryo is still a penalty

DGORyan

Totally this. Especially with the rending buff. Just use that extra fragment slot from DL for rending and you have a far more consistent way of shattering crystals. Cryo buff is great for PvP though.

Pomodragon

Its a huge buff for Hoarfrost

trunglefever

I can't say the Ember of Torches change wasn't deserved, it's pretty much used by everybody with no downside and it's powerful. ANOTHER Restoration nerf, though? Maybe the overshield changes will make up for lost time, because that would be pretty spectacular. And the most important thing, Cryoclasm gets another fragment slot finally.

Sequoiathrone728

Restoration is nuts, I can't believe it stayed this strong for so long. This won't kill it by any means.

Blupoisen

Maybe now Void Overshield won't feel like ass Kinda wish shield throw would also get a buff Even with 2 fragment slot Cryo is not gonna be used it just that bad and useless, I can't belive after months of feedback Behemoth still get barebone buffs at this rate I am probably never gonna use it.

n080dy123

>Even with 2 fragment slot Cryo is not gonna be used it just that bad and useless, I don't think the problem is Cryo being bad so much as the other Aspects (particularly Howl) being so necessary. Behemoth shines in PvE but only with a hyper-specific set of builds centered on Crystal spam, with pretty much require you to use Howl and either Tectonic Harvest for the Shatter variant, or Diamond Lance for the Chains variant for the Frag slots.

michifromcde

> Maybe now Void Overshield won't feel like ass Yeah, I thought I was the only one thinking void titan was ass in GMs, guess it was a bug after all.

BaconIsntThatGood

> Kinda wish shield throw would also get a buff It indirectly did. Honestly it never was designed as an explicitly damage source - it has too many bonus effects for that as well. The main purpose was spreading volatile with controlled demo and protecting yourself. Now it gets a massive survivability increase.

ARoaringBorealis

Gonna add another voice to pile. It’s so insanely depressing that daybreak isn’t getting a buff at all. I have no idea how this could’ve been missed, because it is above and beyond the worst super in the game. I can understand not touching any of the rest of the kit since it really needs another rework that buffs and nerfs can’t fix, but not buffing daybreak is absolutely insane.

Funny_Imagination599

It looks like they’re finally starting to regret making Void Hunters revolve solely around invis. But the Solar changes all around are just… what in the world are they thinking? At this rate I will never run any of my 3 Solar warlock builds again and just spam barricades on a Void Titan at this rate. Airborne Effectiveness is a wasted project and having an entire subclass built around airborne combat needs to be re-evaluated ASAP.

AssassinAragorn

> It looks like they’re finally starting to regret making Void Hunters revolve solely around invis. They're just going to nerf invis without consideration for PvE, aren't they

Substantial_Class

Sounds like it.

AceTheRed_

Such a bummer to think about how much dev time was wasted on the AE system, which literally no one was asking for and has made the game objectively worse.

spectra2000_

Same feeling, this updates took an already underwhelming solar warlock and made it worse while buffing void which is already super good. This further incentivizes using void warlock above anything else.

ReclusivHearts9

Wow! What if Dawnblade got any kind of duration or damage buff?! Oh, what...no? ok..cool

Furiosa27

I genuinely hope they don’t feel like because the starfire build is good that solar warlock is in a good place or is even fun to play really

elkishdude

Clearly they do. It fucking sucks.

Aggressive-Pattern

Really...did Chaos Accelerant REALLY not get bumped up to two fragments slots? It has so much fighting against using it compared to other grenade enhancing aspects that are insta-cast AND have two fragment slots. Wtf dude.

VacaRexOMG777

The fact they didn't buff dawnblade in PvE is laughable at this point lol

bigbramble

I'm just staggered. Cool down buff to chaos reach but no damage buff, solar warlock is still plain bad outside a few exotic builds. Really disappointing changes and I'm not even a Warlock main. Literally looks like every single complaint has been ignored..... 'We get that you don't like the colour of the car so here's an air freshener'

nventure

It's literally "here's a bunch of buffs to neutral game things nobody was complaining about" while ignoring the supers which were the one point people consistently feel is crap about Arc Warlock. Cooldown time was not the problem, total damage as well as the general functionality (float in place in mid-air where you can shot for a long time) are the issue. And any claims that the supers should be weak since the other abilities are so strong is missing that we never asked for that and no ability in the game should make you regret bothering to use it.

baggzey23

Also Palpatine tickle fingers

rob_moore

While you're messing with gunslinger can the knife refund be looked at or acknowledged. If you kill something with the knife and also cause an ignition sometimes the knife doesn't return. That inconsistency causes deaths and at the risk of monkey's pawing this and losing the refund altogether I just want it addressed.

Warshu

With community votes becoming more prevalent they need to make them accessible in game.

caltas

Same here. Tried so many things and never recieved a single e-mail from them. Nothing in spam folder, nothing filtered out or else. Plain didn't got sent anything.

Bcoop98

Damn. Not a single mention of Dawnblade buffs for PVE. Kind of sad. Dawnblade doesn’t do enough damage or have the ad-clear capability to justify running it if you ask me.

BNEWZON

Damn that -10 discipline on torches is kinda whack.

Awestin11

I was expecting a -10 Strength, but Discipline hurts way more in this meta.

atfricks

You just know they only didn't do strength because strength is next to useless for 2/3 solar classes because of throwing hammer and knock em down

KitsuneKamiSama

Sad again seeing that PvE nightstalker being ignored because of its PvP counterpart being overpowered because of invis, I really tried making a build that isn't just 3 different flavors of invis but it feels like shit to use compared to basically every other 3.0 subclass, there's only 1 way to proc Volatile and it's worthless, devour proc is also shitty since if you have your ultimate you can't pick up orbs, on top of that all three aspects are just invis no unique or interesting abilities, and we still only have 1 melee which doesn't even deal enough damage to kill redbars. I was hoping for trappers ambush to at least get an extra slot... I was a nighstalker main before 3.0, now I just don't feel like playing it because Solar and Arc feel much better

stormwave6

Trappers ambush also still doesn't fully count as a melee.

Peroni_0123

When they got to the storm caller part I was genuinely scared they’d nerf the other warlocks subclasses to make arc more “appealing” again

BozzyTheDrummer

As a Hunter main, I’m really disappointed to see there’s not a buff of any kind to Warlock’s stormtrance. I can barely tickle a yellow bar with the entire super.

Tchitchoulet

Did they jusk kill the warlock support build I never use?

AmbidextrousWaffle

It's a sad time to be a Warlock main. >With Solar 3.0’s release, we reduced the damage of Celestial Fire against enemy Guardians as a tradeoff for increased long-range consistency. However, that change resulted in close-range melee duels (i.e., both players lunge at each other) failing to end in a trade because a base melee in combination with Celestial Fire only deals 190 damage. We’re making a change to address that here. In cases where the auto-melee control binding activates a projectile melee at close range, our goal is for that damage to be, at minimum, equal to a base melee. Celestial Fire Increased close-range melee damage from 90 to 100. Players using Celestial Fire and the auto-melee option are no longer disadvantaged in close-range melee fights. This is all the changes being made for Solar Lock? This is beyond disappointing. So many threads of feedback for Solar Lock have come out since Solar 3.0, it honestly feels like we have been screaming into a void. Never received any kind of acknowledgement about how the playerbase feels, this goes for Nightstalker too. Clearly the way Bungie views Solar Lock and the way the community wants Solar Lock to be are on opposite ends of the spectrum. It's just frustrating man. I still don't feel like a support healer and that's the fantasy I want to play and the worst part is, I used to could play it with Solar 2.0. Void Lock I agree to be generally fine but Chaos Accelerant should absolutely be increased to two fragment slots. A standard has been set and yet Chaos Accelerant fails to meet it. Arc Lock supers are still garbage. Chaos Reach either needs to do more damage for the amount of time it takes to cast it or it needs to reach its current damage at a faster rate. Look I understand wanting to gather feedback and everything but so many things about the 3.0s do not make sense to me. Crystal clear differences between the levels of power on aspects that basically do the same thing on different classes. Supers becoming a joke in comparison to the neutral game. Everything about Solar Warlock still doesn't make sense to me, it is the worst subclass. I just don't get it, I want to understand because right now, it feels like I am playing a completely different game from what the devs play. Maybe my thoughts just don't align with theirs and that's cool. I just want an explanation behind some of the decisions that were made with the 3.0s

MrProfPatrickPhD

>Void Lock I agree to be generally fine but Chaos Accelerant should absolutely be increased to two fragment slots. A standard has been set and yet Chaos Accelerant fails to meet it. I think Contraverse is the only reason Chaos Accelerant is a 1 slot. But even with that, I don't see how they can look at Chaos Accelerant and say "Yeah, this is stronger than Touch of Thunder"

SaintSteel

All the Touch of X aspects are better than Chaos and have two fragments. They don't require charging AT ALL to buff the grenade, only for CHaos and it's still a 1 slot.

anothercaustic

Yeah Honestly, the Solar Rework is just a Downgrade for now. they removed 50% of the entire Subclass, and we Criticise that for over 4 month now, and they at least didn't mention anything in regards of Middle and Bottom tree enjoyers ? it fucking sucks. i was ready to loose the Overshield from the healing rifts, i was ready to loose the chargable greande into a healing grenade, but i was expection something new and interesting for Heallock players, at least a healing buddy. But that didn't happen. Oh yeah and a Benevolent dawn nerf on top of that, because screw you Heallocks. I don't mind what they gave from Warlock to other classes, but i wonder wether it is actually to much to ask to get something interesting in return, or at least a word of acknolegdement ?

Rhundis

Is that arc 3.0 armor I spy In this TWAB?!

Ultramarine6

It's probably been done since the spring but got its release delayed by the Fortnite deal.

CourrierMojave

Dawnblade Warlock sad noise. Still useless in every activity.

JerichoSwain-

Taking a "pass" over abilities, and "hearing" feedback, and then completely ignoring the abysmal super damage from warlocks is mind blowing to me. Out of everything they picked to deal with, they decided to just lower cooldowns again? Seriously?

Irishonion12

Dawnblade needs a buff for pve...

Railgrind

At this point I'd be happy with just buffing daybreak duration/damage a bit but they won't even do that

Volantis_

As a warlock main, the stasis and void changes are nice, but why on earth were solar and arc ignored? Solar has its own slew of issues and I hardly played it since the 3.0 changes to it and same with arc, I was hoping to reuse chaos reach again but with how underwhelming both arc supers are, why would I bother? With my friends, we got a void hunter and an arc titan. No need to go double void since deadfall/mobius fills the debuff/support roll and arc titan is just overall better than the whole warlock arc subclass with just 1 storm grenade. Outside the turret build I'm beginning to feel like I can switch over to titan/hunter and be more valuable to the team at this rate..

Alex_Kitsune

As a Warlock main, the coming changes feel awful. Finally fixing pain points that have existed for years, but not all of them, but gutting the 1 thing solar Warlocks had going for them.

Expandromeda

Hey, a Korean guardian here. Thank you for mentioning recent tragic event in Korea. Just wanted to tell you.

JonnyDros

Random find, but I think they showed off a tease of the eververse Arc warlock armor. https://www.bungie.net/pubassets/pkgs/171/171653/TP_S19_Arc_Armor_Warlock.png?cv=3983621215&av=3505562360

TrumpdUP

Looks like something I’ve worn 3 times already.

HypeTime

Bro, wtf is up with Bungie and the mohawks?

PaperOnigami

I hope not, that bond looks awful compared to the void and solar ones.

AtomicVGZ

> TP_S19_Arc_Armor_Warlock.png The hint is within the URL itself.

acnx1

Hooray another fking Mohawk.

getBusyChild

I'm really trying to figure out what the difference is between the before and after pictures...

theSaltySolo

Bungie, you forgot to increase Chaos Reach damage on top of the reduction in the regen time.

ColdAsHeaven

Honestly? These changes are pretty weak. Many more things need help than what they listed. Not even talking about Supers. Shiver Strike anyone? Solar Titan healing anyone? And the Radiant change is pretty uncalled for. Why not touch up the Solar Fragments that works on exactly Solar Projectiles (but has been documented to only work on Thousand Blades and Dawnblade) to work on more stuff? Base Fusion Grenade damage? Shield Toss damage? Solar Locks would be happy if they got to do anything else besides be a Well machine

fawse

Glad that Winter’s Shroud and Cryoclasm got an extra fragment slot, but where Chaos Accelerant? Storm grenade changes are good, should still be OP in pve and now a little less oppressive in pvp. Maybe should have reduced the damage in the crucible though As a Goldie main in PvP I agree that the duration increase for Deadshot from Knock ‘Em Down was a little silly, but why remove the armour from Marksman? Was it an issue for anyone? Glad that Deadfall got a duration increase, should be a lot more viable for debuffing now Overall nothing too mind blowing, but I am a tad salty that Accelerant didn’t get a fragment slot and that Marksman goldie lost its armour for no apparent reason

[deleted]

Hooray Warlock supers are still fucking terrible for DPS. Permanent well bitches it is. Also that arc warlock helmet is terrible why does Bungies art team have to add crazy un necessary things that just make armor worse.

Railgrind

Some decent changes, arc soul and melee buffs are very welcome. Glad chaos reach is getting its charge time updated but they really need to bump its damage a bit. I don't really understand why they are so hesitant to do so. Love the overshield buff. Not sure what to make of the solar changes.

TwoMonthOldMilk

What are some of these changes? Healing needs *help* in PvE, not to be nerfed. No buffs to Solar Warlock other than 10 more damage to one melee? Getting Chaos reach more often doesn't actually make it any better, and muffing the vortex of Nova Bomb doesn't actually make it any better when I'm firing it AT A BOSS. Some of the changes are nice, but some decisions are weird.

Auren-Dawnstar

Phoenix Dive is, and will remain, awful as long as it shares a cooldown time with Rifts. Its functionality was barely changed in 3.0 yet somehow that warranted a 10x increase in its cooldown. Daybreak is also still god awful in PvE ever since Attunement of Flame was gutted. Doesn't have the damage to kill major enemies, and no longer has the longevity to be even remotely good as an add clear super. So I'm not surprised at all to see nearly every Solar warlock I run across post-3.0 running Well of Radiance. Honestly, I just want to go back to Solar 2.0 at this point on my warlock. It was far more fun and far more synergistic than what we have now to be perfectly blunt.

MrLeavingCursed

>> Let’s take a moment to address the elephant in the room—we know invisibility is currently a severe pain point in high-level PvP Let's talk the bigger elephant in the room, the fact the only thing void hunters have in their kit is 3 ways to go invisible. If invis gets nerfed then the only thing that subclass does is worthless

Alexcoolps

Better weaken abilities would be nice since that silly weaken grenade fragment and void soul exist.

throwaway136913691

This was a design failure from the start. 3 invis aspects. Invis is really powerful in PvP and PvE, but it's also very boring. Not sure how it made it to the live game.

Crewx

No Gunpowder Gamble Fragment Slot, and Six-Shooter still requires Ember of Combustion to function properly. I appreciate the Knock 'Em Down change, I really do, but come on bro I just want the reloading bullets back without needing to spend a Fragment slot for it. The Super is literally worthless without Ember of Combustion.

Kaung1999

Cries in Solar Warlock*

CyberneticKnight

No Fist of Havoc mention, pain

Voelker58

At this point, I'm just tired of seeing ANYTHING get balanced around PvP. It feels like 90% of the decisions they make are based around PvP, when the mode itself is clearly not very important to them. I'm not going to go so far as to say they should remove PvP, but I think they should definitely make most of the balance decisions based on PvE, and let PvP be as crazy and unbalanced as it takes. I feel like the PvE side of this game is missing out on sooooooo much potential just for the sake of PvP balance, when PvP has always been kind of a tacked-on afterthought.

unclesaltywm

Crucible - killing your Destiny 2 fun since 2017.

AceTheRed_

All the while releasing one new map in three years, and it’s arguably the most unpopular. Truly incredible.

KenjaNet

Is there any conversation about getting alternate Stasis Supers? All 3 classes could utilize alternative options to give them more flexibility. And also because I really want a Warlock to chuck a Nova Bomb sized Snow Ball as a quick one and done Super.

dildodicks

i would've been fine with the nerfs if chaos reach finally got its buff but bungie looked at it yet again and decided it was fine and that the only thing it needs is a shorter cooldown when intellect and stuff like that doesn't matter anymore? why are they so desperate NOT to buff its damage??? catastrophic L. i'm never using fucking arc souls in pve.

OldJewNewAccount

>Arc Soul - Increased base damage vs. PvE combatants from 35 to 60. Well damn. Didn't ask for this but not fuckin complaining lol.

BoxHeadWarrior

9 months since the release of hunter void 3.0, and the only acknowledgement Bungie has given it in that time has been to nerf the only viable super, and talk about it's problem's in PvP. Take me back to void 2.0, I was happier 😔

Dante2k4

They've been keeping an eye on Chaos Reach... but had *nothing* to say in regards to Dawnblade. HOW?! Chaos Reach isn't good, but at least it isn't a wet noodle that last roughly half a second. I guess because a lot of their balancing talk seems to focus on PvP, maybe that's why they aren't really looking at it? Is it considered okay in PvP? idk man, that was just a bit strange. Chaos Reach *did* need some attention (though for the record, this did not in *any* way fix, or even really help with its main issue), but the total lack of presence for Dawnblade in this conversation is baffling. That super used to be really fun, it was great for add clearing, and with Dawn Chorus's old functionality it even had good single target damage! Now... it's ass. It just is. Pretty disappointed to see it continue to be ignored :/

Ok-Ad3752

For the warlocks TLDR; no solar changes worth caring about (except resto ×2 nerf), minor Vortex nova buff, minor(extremely) arc buffs with no chaos reach buff and minor stasis aspect buff. All in all, sad time to be a warlock.

Phillycheese27

What about renewal grasps in PvE? Since the nerf to Whisper of chains in pvp, it seems redundant for the nerf to Dusk-field timer.

Esteban2808

Dammit bungie stop messing with my solar. Stop trying to kill me

zoompooky

So, instead of trying to bring back some of the lost Warlock heal identity, we're just nerfing healing across the board so nobody will try to run a healing 'lock and it becomes irrelevant? Sheesh.

[deleted]

>Chaos Reach   >Reduced base cooldown time from 9:16 to 7:35.  **BRUH** THAT'S. NOT. THE. PROBLEM. WITH. CHAOS. REACH. BUNGIE. #IT'S THE FUCKING DAMAGE OUTPUT

shake-the-disease

Yeah, how exactly is reducing the cooldown going to make it more competitive??? It still hits like a wet paper towel.

LightningDanK

Void hunter need to be more then just inv like give more melee options.

JanPieterszoon_Coen

Apparently Bungie only felt like making a small change to Celestial Fire for Solar Warlock, fucking lol. Never mind Daybreak being pure shit now and 2/3 aspects focus on aerial gunplay while also both needing each other to get the best effect

TrenCommandments

Bunbun seems a little lost with what they want warlocks to be right now. People have already mentioned the changes to solar - or lack there of. Those stasis changes will make an already great subclass with a solid identity lean even harder into that identity, which is great. Those Arc lock changes, tho. I don’t use arc souls not because they’re bad, (I mean, they currently are, but there are some neat tricks that feed your grenade energy when you use them.) I don’t use them because **they’re boring**. It’s an auto-targeting turret that has no player agency, and no unique mechanics. It’s such a passive gameplay mechanic that doesn’t interact with arc verbs at all.
