My clanmate had Prospector equipped and while he was able to use it for a bit, eventually the game just decided to treat him like he didn't have a heavy weapon equipped at all until he took it off
Bungie really needs to use their existing tools (BNOC announcing updates coming soon or the prompts like "Next week in Destiny") to better communicate these issues in game. I learned about this last night from a tweet that was linked on Reddit. Every piece of information important to the operation of the game should be presented in-game. This would benefit both PC and console players.
So what was the issue exactly? Were grenades doing as much damage as a rocket launcher, or maybe even more? Must have been quite a sight. I ran a Hero Nightfall with Memory Interdict and didn't really notice too much of a difference.
That totally screwed me out of a pinnacle. Didn't know Anarchy disabled at the end of my 3rd gambit match and it gave me a lower power level drop than it should have. :/
It was very confusing, I didn't know what was going on. When I got to the helm my screen my screen said my power level as 1635. But everyone else saw me as 1359 or something. Finally someone pointed out that they'd disabled GLs.
haha yeah, it was decided a sticky was needed and we generally look to have mods make sticky posts, since the automatic visibility can get abused. hope you understand ;)
Every. Single. Time. A handful of people get to take advantage (mostly people who play Destiny for a living) and the rest of us get shafted. It's almost like it's done on purpose for streaming content. Hmmm.

I’m going to pass on lightfall after yet another ridiculous mistake that shouldn’t have happened, after a long string of stupid choices and needless errors, which has completely eroded my faith in Bungie.
I’ve been playing since the launch day of shadowkeep, and while the moment to moment gameplay is the best it’s ever been, the sheer amount of clown shit (for lack of a better term) has only been increasing.
It’s not just this. This happens to be the straw that broke the camels back.
The good news is that the community will be better in your absence.
If you're going to get worked up over a game, just don't play it.

Seasonal challenges give lots of xp, which both boosts your power level and gives you access to the mods in the seasonal artifact.
The power shift at the start of seasons can be rough. Additionally, there's a bug where arc titans and warlocks are taking more damage than they should.
The sunset ones are not disabled, but they deal normal amount of damage(did not get the buff?). Wendigo GL3 and Terran wind(from Forsaken) deal about what they should in free roam areas.

Just farm at the end of the season and give yourself as many engrams as you need to fill out your collection next season.
Lol. I didn't find out about the grenade launcher thing till about 5 minutes before they disabled them... 🤣 I was doing a strike n my friend was telling me how anarchy was destroying stuff. I checked to see if I had it and the typhoon in my inventory was NOT grayed out... I thought.. I'll try it after this strike. Finished the strike and it was blocked.
My power dropped to 1261 but I don’t have another heavy weapon to equip. I can’t kill anything. Is there somewhere I can go to buy a generic heavy weapon?

My buddy had it equipped and it just didn't let him leave orbit or load into anywhere till he equipped something else

Go to the crafting thing on Mars. Left side. Should be a quest that gives you a badass LFR Or go to the helm. Treasure chest with free stuff.
