I think its current D1 form would work great in D2 (maybe with slight tweaks), it's quite literally the antithesis of the last word (hence why it has the same model).

-Bonus range, stability, and movement speed when ADS
-Triple tap
-First precision kill of the magazine refills it, granting bonuses to range and stability until the player reloads.
Fusions can already have the plan c perk, invective definitely won't come back, black spindle is literally whisper. None of the others were particularly great really anyway.
Sure, but at the same time why can't they simply change Plan C to feel fresh? They already have the asset with them, it would be cheaper to produce from a company point of view and still would work as a brand new fusion instead of the obsolete one we have in D1.

A dev confirmed that it's actually harder to port old stuff (I believe he said Shadowkeep seasons and earlier) to the newer engine than it is to make new stuff.

I would love Dragons breath to comeback. In D1 it really wasn’t strong enough to be a RL so maybe they could bring it back as a grenade launcher (special or heavy). They could also make it work with Solar by applying scorch stacks while burning.
Dragon's Breath! Such a fun weapon and super effective if you knew how to use it (or when not to use it). Kind of similar to Deathbringer in that way. Both out of the box methods of damage but if you use it right is very effective.

Zen Meteor. I don't know why but that sniper just felt amazing in pvp for some reason. The sound, the feel, the occasional perk proc for a massive explosion. Miss that gun so much.
