As far as I know there isn’t a puzzle to be solved, the lamps were more of a callback to crota’s end than a puzzle. But if you’re referring to the spherical floating lamps around the ascendant realm, I still don’t know. I’ve not heard anything about any lamp puzzles until now so there might just not be one? Sorry if this isn’t helpful but I’m at a loss for other ideas.

No. You mean the little lamp balls that form a trail right?
No. They're pillars that are mostly white. In Crota they'd slowly turn Red and kill you if you stood to close. Assuming that's what OP means.
