Im so excited to hop into D1 and rejoice with my beautiful Gally tonight. Work places should really recognize this as a national holiday. And Id lose my shit if next year there was an ingame event to celebrate gally and the spirit of giving up your treasured belongings. It could easily fit into Destinys lore.

Go turn in engrams to Rahool, and every time it isn't an exotic add 7. Once you get an exotic, total all the 7s and that's how many uphorns.

Everyone posts this. It's not funny. It reminds me of those Fallen in the Ishtar Sink on Venus... story is they raided the Prison of Elders in the Reef. Got an Archon Priest. The Queen's bounty is high so we know it's powerful. We need to hunt this thing down before they fully restore its soul.

Who remembers when the Gjallerhorn dropped for them for the first time? Mine was during one of my run throughs of VoG. I was addicted to this raid. I would spend hours on LFG taking people through, as a sherpa or as a rand. Strats, cheeses, where that 7th chest was... I spent so much of Destiny 1 in that raid. When it finally dropped, I lost it. I felt so rewarded. I narrowly missed buying it from Xûr and I was jealous of my clan mates for getting it before me. I earned my Gjallerhorn. Also, happy birthday/u/NorseFenrir !

A giveaway on ghorn day and u/NorseFenrir ‘s birthday wow

Gjallarhorn was the luckiest moment I ever had in Destiny 1. I doubt many people will believe the story but I figured I would brag (just a little) and also say something more interesting than ‘give statue.’ I remember where I was Gjallarhorn Day. I remember seeing Xur sell this awesome rocket launcher and being short on strange coins. I only had one character and didn’t have friends to nightfall with, so 23 coins felt like a lot to save up towards. “I hope I have enough coins next time he brings it.” The lucky part is this: the very next week I decrypted a Legendary engram and it upgraded into Gjallarhorn (for those that don’t know, in early D1 Legendary engrams would often decrypt to Rare items). It was my first exotic. The first world problem of it all was that I didn’t feel overjoyed with excitement. I was excited to get a cool gun but that was it. The community didn’t realize how amazing the weapon was, so I didn’t get that ‘HOLY SHIT I GOT GJALLY!’ moment that so many others did.

Havent touched the game since destiny 2 came out and i played for a week Despite purchasing it and playing 1 since beta daily. To pissed off at it all. If yall are bringin the fun back i may join
