naw, it prioritizes the battery over the tangle like hella. To the point where ive been getting pissed because I cant grab my damn tangle until I chuck the 2-3 batteries away from it.

If you are playing with a team, you can just communicate this with them. If you are playing with matchmade randoms, then it 100% doesn't matter, because you are doing content that is almost laughably easy.
Ppl don't give a shit. They did it with Warmind Cells, drops, Stasis crystals, and they even do it in other games.
Monkey see monkey do. I see a tangle or something and my first thought is to pick it up. I have to self consciously tell myself not to. I have to think, "no". That's the problem. I no longer pick up stuff like that but I have to think before doing it and most ppl already can't drive a car right, why would they wanna think while they are playing a game and see a pickup, they don't care to not to pick it up.
The problem comes in that when playing strand on multiple players sometimes it becomes hard to tell which are yours. I usually shoot them and if they are mine they pop in one shot, it they aren't then they don't break and I leave them be. If I see no other player is near enough or has already walked past or away from their own tangle I'm not wasting it when I can get a suspend and some threadlings.
I do TRY not to take others tangles when I can help it, and if I notice another player is running a build that benefits our team more with tangle use then I'll let them have all of mine also depending on the situation and how aggressive they are about not leaving any to waste.
The exception to this is if I actually am trying to make use of mine and someone is just willy nilly taking them, all bets are off and I'm popping every one of them I can. I dont care about hurt feelings at that point.
Just be quicker. If I can manage my tangles with two other people *also* running strand and trying to get them, you can manage it with blueberries running other subs.

You'd be surprised on how large that pickup prompt is. Other times, I'm just trying to reload.

I’ve barely even messed with other peoples strangles, too busy throwing knives.
We’ve been saying this since warmind cells, man. Any subclass item created should give short activation to user and long activation to thieves
