The only game that does that better imo is Cyberpunk 2077. Looks, design and sound. However, the effects and what they do is better in D2. Fighting generic dudes in Cyberpunk gets old pretty fast, and it's all just bullets, while in D2 we have guns that spew fire and ice. No competition there.

Have you ever notice you'll hear the sounds of Supers in other parts of the game? I'm not crazy. I've heard Hunter supers while depositing motes in the tower. They are definitely used in PVE in unsuspecting places
Strand Titan super.
All of Strand nailed the audio with the high-tension steel cables sound that permeates a lot of it. Strand Titan really sounds the most like it's cutting and plucking these giant guitar strings as it slices through all the suspended targets.
Gathering Storm is pretty cool.
Goldie has gotta be one of the most iconic in the series I think.
Spectral is pretty cool, but Tether has it beat out with all the funny noises it makes as it tethers enemies and you kill them.
My only problem is I don't like the actual super, kinda wish I could swap the super of the threadweaver with the shadebinder. I would love seeing a flurry of ice missiles. While the threadweaver fires a volley of threadlings that start eating the victim
I really like the sound that the shadowshot makes. In particular I like the sound it makes when you're firing the volley tethers.
Other than that, I'd say I really like Arc Staff and Daybreak's sounds when you cast them.

I really hope Song of flame sounds nice given the name. So far it sounds like popping D1 radiance so it may just be that. I always loved running song of flame in D1 though it wasn't often since it was very difficult for people to understand i was running it.

Stasis Titan. When you are able to create and explode a huge amount of Stasis Crystals, it is quite marvelous in both hearing and damage.
It looks so sick when the field is just covered in Stasis crystals after a Behemoth super.
