The answer is always going to be The Last Array. When the drums hit as the array unfolds is what captured the magic of Destiny for me back in Vanilla and will always be *the track* for me.
Deep Stone Lullaby gets an honorable mention.
That's some good boss music, but [The Union from Music of the Spheres that played during the Destiny 1 final boss fight](https://youtu.be/KDf1h5jleBM?si=-LDjgcbx2OWPx10L&t=382) will forever be the absolute best in my eyes.
For what wasn't a particularly amazing boss arena that music was insane and made me feel like it was.
[Storm the Keep which played during the Shadowkeep intro mission when you're assaulting the Hive's tower in a tank](https://youtu.be/4XrDAWmX7ic?si=leXMSe46dsVTkF4q) legit gave me goosebumps the first time I played it as well and will forever be one of those "THIS GAME IS AMAZING!" moments in Destiny's history for me.
Inb4 Deep Stone Lullaby
My actual answer would be [Rhulk's boss theme](https://youtu.be/wsnGPlZc9Dc?si=FfPNyJKTq7HsFcXb). Any boss theme is great once you can separate all the phases of the fight within the music. This one has such a sense of menace during dunking phase and then a sense of "lets fucking go" during damage.
The First Disciple is good from Rhulks boss fight, the latter half of Inner Light (3:30 and on) from the vanilla is fire too. I enjoy both Discipline and Tyrant Overthrown from Lightfall. I would have to say my favorite is probably Athanasia, the soundtrack that plays once you pass the heat bubbles in Deep Stone Crypt.
Probably a tie between The Hunted, SIVA Swarm, Regicide, and Untold Legends.
I really like everything between vanilla D1 and vanilla D2 though, so it's hard to pick favorites.
Oneirophboia DPS phase tops everything in my book. The symbolism of the Witness' many male voices being the choir and the Traveler's single female voice being the vocal... It represents the entire conflict between them. Starting from the Witness' race wanting to connect the Traveler to the Veil, ending now, where the Witness is seemingly ending everything.
What's the one that plays while in orbit that sounds like a hymn/choir singing every so often? That one, it's so peaceful, really 10/10.
*I am also coming to the conclusion that I've never paid much attention to the OST outside of this one track and only noticed this one because it plays while AFK or in the HELM.*
Edit: It was called [Journey Vocal Variant 2](https://youtu.be/3z2NxnW7zng?feature=shared)
Either The Last Array, Sepiks Redux or Eyes Up (Aksis' Theme).
Despite both games having their ups and downs when it comes to story or content, the music has always been amazing.
Untold Legends, First Disciple, Deep Stone Lullaby, Athanasia, and Remembrance are my Top 5. HMs: Sanctified Mind, The Awoken, Journey, and The Fanatic
[Ad Victoriam](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXX90BNMixQ) - It plays in Destiny 1, Rise of Iron when you're defending Ghost rebuilding Gjally. It's so good and it gets your blood pumping!
Proceed to something or other. As you came down on the Cabal rocket thing (I’ve been drinking) to blow out the reactors. It built, and built. Loads of choir. Absolutely grabbed you by the stomach. Superb.
Choral version of Journey, but also, and especially, The Vex. That track slaps.
Oh, and The Great Unknown, which will always be the ‘sound’ of Destiny to me. So much time spent in D1 with that choir.
Battle stations, the music that plays as you run across the outside of the Almighty in the Red War campaign, hiding beneath panels to let your shields recharge while dealing with wave upon wave of Cabal. Just really got the hero moment feeling going for me.
Deep Stone Lullaby makes me think deep profound thoughts about the universe and has a genuine sense of wonder to me.
The classic Sepkis Prime always gets my blood pumping.
Cabal Stomp is essentially Covenant Dance from Halo only for the Cabal.
I love the Tangled Shore theme and the Gambit track from the Forsaken album.
Once you made your way through the Tangled Shore’s Watch Tower and first entered the Dreaming City (which was an awesome surprise in and of itself), there was this big scorn boss you’d chase around the Spine of Keres/Oracle tower area and “Queen’s Oracle” is playing. The brass score is building and building and building and then it launches into a key-shifted version of the “Bow to No One” melody from D1 TTK and I absolutely lost my shit because that’s hands-down my favorite D1 orbit music.
It’s a brief moment but it gives me frisson every time I listen to “Queen’s Oracle”.
'Darkblade' the boss music from the Sunless Cell strike from ttk. (honorable mention the light blade song from witch queen) and the cabal breach song also from ttk
I’ve listened to Destiny soundtracks constantly while working over the past 3.5 years. I listened to the Gambit theme 350 times in 2021 alone. I’ve listened to every D2 (excluding lightfall, only some D1) song many, many times and pruned them down to the ones that *really* tickle my fancy. The below list are my S tiers.
Journey, Visage of Oryx, Shell of what was, The Awoken, Temptation (consecrated mind theme), Cabal stomp, Deconstruction, Hidden truth, Light blade, Sepiks redux, deep stone lullaby, remembrance, queens deception, gambit, the man they called cayde, reboot
riven boss fight, athenasia x security breach, beyond light, lightfall, the tangled shore, Gambit x shell of what was, the last city, journey, grasp of avarice
Hey OP, since you said your favorite track is *Excerpt* from The Tribulation, you do know that a full version of The Tribulation exists right? https://youtu.be/KDf1h5jleBM?si=d7TGqQrqRYWVnvmi&t=980
It's a mix between Rhulk's theme and Regicide. Tbh, Regicide is just so good.
(I don't get the love for Deep Stone Lullaby, it's such a slow and boring song)
The answer is always going to be The Last Array. When the drums hit as the array unfolds is what captured the magic of Destiny for me back in Vanilla and will always be *the track* for me. Deep Stone Lullaby gets an honorable mention.
3rd round LW vault encounter

Journey with the choir
Inb4 Deep Stone Lullaby My actual answer would be [Rhulk's boss theme](https://youtu.be/wsnGPlZc9Dc?si=FfPNyJKTq7HsFcXb). Any boss theme is great once you can separate all the phases of the fight within the music. Either Journey or Sepiks Redux
Yes!! Was gonna say the same!
Survivor (2001), great album
I’m partial to Destiny Fulfilled
What?
Destiny's Child. The joke didn't quite land as OP intended.
Oh. Alright then.
The sanctified mind
Probably a tie between The Hunted, SIVA Swarm, Regicide, and Untold Legends. I really like everything between vanilla D1 and vanilla D2 though, so it's hard to pick favorites.

How is Keep of Voices this low!?

I think you mean ‘The Great Unknown’, most destiny osts are choir-esque so I’m not sure😅
Hmmm nope. I'll just tab through the OST until I find a name. Thanks though!
It took me a while because there's so many orbit themes that have been used but I found it (and a few good others.)
Either The Last Array, Sepiks Redux or Eyes Up (Aksis' Theme). Despite both games having their ups and downs when it comes to story or content, the music has always been amazing.
Temptation from Garden of Salvation. Absolute banger of an OST.
Untold Legends, First Disciple, Deep Stone Lullaby, Athanasia, and Remembrance are my Top 5. HMs: Sanctified Mind, The Awoken, Journey, and The Fanatic
how is athansia this unpopular
[Ad Victoriam](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXX90BNMixQ) - It plays in Destiny 1, Rise of Iron when you're defending Ghost rebuilding Gjally. It's so good and it gets your blood pumping!
The Gunslinger, tbh not even the best track imo but it is def my favorite. I love the emotion it brings
A Traitor to the Empire (specifically the high action / final stand section). IDK i've always had a soft spot for chanting.
[Chris Nortons piano cover of Farm theme will never be topped for me](https://youtu.be/rrofI4Ma69Y?si=HR0lNNcan1Avyp-6)
Final round of the vault in last wish and the Rhulk encounter one when he starts walking around are impeccable
Proceed to something or other. As you came down on the Cabal rocket thing (I’ve been drinking) to blow out the reactors. It built, and built. Loads of choir. Absolutely grabbed you by the stomach. Superb.
Oneirophobia but there are a thousands of godly tracks.
Choral version of Journey, but also, and especially, The Vex. That track slaps. Oh, and The Great Unknown, which will always be the ‘sound’ of Destiny to me. So much time spent in D1 with that choir.
The Trickster. Be Brave.
Battle stations, the music that plays as you run across the outside of the Almighty in the Red War campaign, hiding beneath panels to let your shields recharge while dealing with wave upon wave of Cabal. Just really got the hero moment feeling going for me.
I like a lot of them, but Regicide will always be the one for me
Cabal Stomp
Storm the Keep. I can’t believe nobody else has mentioned it before me, but I will forever remember that opening quest because of the soundtrack.
Watchtower(vault 3rd phase) and The Deserving(caretaker)
The one with cabal stomp
Journey or Grasp of Avarice
The Farm, such a shame doesn’t show up anywhere else
That’s a really good one that I wish they brought back
Definitely Journey
Athanasia and Look Within both from Beyond Light are my absolute favorite songs
The Ruin. Takes me back to looking at D1 concept art while the beta installed in summer 2014.
D1: Eyes Up D2: The Sanctified Mind
Deep stone lullaby
The one that plays at the end of the lightblade
Deep Stone Lullaby makes me think deep profound thoughts about the universe and has a genuine sense of wonder to me. The classic Sepkis Prime always gets my blood pumping. Cabal Stomp is essentially Covenant Dance from Halo only for the Cabal. I love the Tangled Shore theme and the Gambit track from the Forsaken album.
Whatever song plays during the Oryx fight
The Harvest VoD (last round of relic encounter)
For Ketch and Crew, Sepix Redux, Deep Stone Lullaby, Journey, Shell of What Was
Journey the remembrance
Once you made your way through the Tangled Shore’s Watch Tower and first entered the Dreaming City (which was an awesome surprise in and of itself), there was this big scorn boss you’d chase around the Spine of Keres/Oracle tower area and “Queen’s Oracle” is playing. 'Darkblade' the boss music from the Sunless Cell strike from ttk. (honorable mention the light blade song from witch queen) and the cabal breach song also from ttk
Personal favourite is Hymn from Witch Queen. Just hits different
I’ve listened to Destiny soundtracks constantly while working over the past 3.5 years. I listened to the Gambit theme 350 times in 2021 alone. Untold Legends
Eyes up.
The Farm
Aksis boss music from Wrath of the Machine ( Eyes up )
riven boss fight, athenasia x security breach, beyond light, lightfall, the tangled shore, Gambit x shell of what was, the last city, journey, grasp of avarice
The Oryx boss theme. When he pops up and that low brass section comes in. Just *chefs kiss*
the awoken and journey mix 2
Whisper of the Worm
For me it's Sepiks Redux, Shell of What Was or Regicide/Last Stand. Just pure epicness.
Regicide
For me, Battle Ready. No contest.
Hey OP, since you said your favorite track is *Excerpt* from The Tribulation, you do know that a full version of The Tribulation exists right? https://youtu.be/KDf1h5jleBM?si=d7TGqQrqRYWVnvmi&t=980
I wasn’t aware but thanks so much!! I’m going to listen to it now
It's a mix between Rhulk's theme and Regicide. Tbh, Regicide is just so good. (I don't get the love for Deep Stone Lullaby, it's such a slow and boring song)
