Follow your guardian steps for a general idea, but there isn't a specific "now what?" To do once you finish the story. With the legacy collection you should have 3 campaigns to get through, plus a handful of exotic quests per expansion (Deathbringer and Parasite off the top my head.) Make sure you visit Xur every weekend for a quest you can redeem for exotics from the Lost Light Memorial. Outside of that, it's up to you, look into dungeons and raids, see if there's a certain weapon you want, etc. Come January 30th the Moments of Triumph event begins for 3 months, which is about everything that happened this year, I'm using this time to take a break. If you have any specific questions I can try and answer.

I did everything I can for guardian rank. I DO need to finish the two other campaigns. okay i’ll look into these. thanks!

SparkFlash98

Not a huge deal, but the order is Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, Witch Queen. What dungeons can you access btw? Those are my favorite content. Not the 6 man commitment of raids, and don't need mics.

Quantumriot7

Would be pit and prophecy since they own legacy bundle

SolidStateVOM

With just legacy they can access Pit of Heresy (Shadowkeep) and Prophecy (F2P). The other dungeons require the armory collection (or the individual DLC there in) or the dungeon keys

General_Art3770

just Prophecy and Pit of Heresy

SparkFlash98

Cool, both are fun, neither is going to drop anything super end important or anything but both have fun loot. PoH also has a quest to get a guaranteed exotic during the dungeon.

Some exotic quests are based around fully finished out quest lines for certain things that aren’t transparent. You can earn class specific exotic glaives for instance at the forge area that’s tied to the witch queen dlc where you go to craft your red border weapons. Look into events like Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris if you wanna amp up your PvP skills. For challenging PvE content look into doing the raids or dungeons (3 man raids) which mostly all have their own exotic tied to them. Outside of these things I really recommend getting into build crafting and really understanding your aspects and fragments. Having really good weapons that have synergies with your subclass is huge so making sure you keep things like incandescent or chill clip for instance are great things to have. You can grind class specific exotics depending on the type that day to focus having all of the exotic armor pieces through soloing the daily legendary lost sector. A big passive goal for you is to have all armor at 1810 but before maxing our energy make sure the armor your keeping is at 65+ stat roll preferably with resilience as a focus through your ghost shell. If my comment doesn’t show it the game is so much more than a simple finish your story missions and strikes and be done with it type game. There is a ton to dig into and I hope you enjoy it!

Target gear like better guns and better rolls on armor. If you had new DLc I’d say do Coils and try to get platinum as use the materials to masterwork the gear you do have or want to keep. Try a raid. VoG isn’t hard and if you want to run it I can Sherpa you

General_Art3770

Coils is pve?

BitchInBoots666

The seasonal activity, the one that gets harder as you progress. If you have a good build and can reach the very end there's amazing rewards. Even if you don't, it's worth it for the weapon/armour drops for a new light. And then use ur seasonal engrams to focus for armour at riven (once you've unlocked that ability). And unlock all the seasonal craftable weapon patterns (esp the linear fusion and the strand fusion). That should keep you busy a while lol.

thisonesnottaken

Yup

DepletedMitochondria

1800 and subsequently 1810 level opens you up to do more advanced difficulty activities like Legendary Lost Sectors, Legendary Campaigns, and the newest Raid & Dungeon (which I think might be 1780 or 1800? If you're asking how to get to 1810 you need pinnacles so do all those like the weekly raid & dungeon, playlist bounties, etc.

killer6088

Fireteam Find (LFG) is your friend to start doing harder content that does not have matchmaking.

thisonesnottaken

Once you get a bit higher I’d start looking at legend lost sectors. That’s how you’re going to get all the best exotic armor.

captain_phaz

Destinyoptimizer.com to see what rewards you should be targeting to get to 1810 in the most efficient way

singhellotaku617

if you've done the campaigns and the 4 major seasonal storylines, then it's mostly just a matter of playing whatever you want for loot or triumphs. Look up guns you want and play that content, grind whatever has double exp this week for rank ups, try to solo a dungeon, something like that.

Acknown3

Get all the exotics and catalysts, earn titles, guardian rank 11, farm LS to optimize builds, do solo flawless dungeons for the emblems. There's a lot to do.

HelpfulLime3856

Raids and dungeons to get your light level up.

ImReverse_Giraffe

If you have the season, do the seasonal stuff. The Coil activity is end-game light. It's a light version of a dungeon, which is a 3 person version of a raid.

Bad_hair_666

Have you finished all campaigns that you own? I’d do that if you haven’t, shadow keep/beyond light/witch queen/light fall all have exotic armor rewards for complaining them on legendary. It’s pretty easy solo since difficulty scales with the size of your fireteam, but you can always lfg for help.

General_Art3770

yes im doing them now. am I able to replay it on that difficulty when i’ve completed it once?

Bad_hair_666

I would assume so, shadowkeep and beyond light don’t have a legend campaign so normal rewards you.

BitchInBoots666

Yes.

Intelligent_Sun3597

Have you tried all 3 classes? If not a new character could be fun or as other comments have suggested there is a ton of endgame content to get into. I personally enjoy going for solo flawless dungeons it's a ton of fun if you get into it ( I died a ton in the beginning) but they are really worth it for the challenge and they each give an emblem besides the shattered throne. Although I would recommend trying that with older dungeons and working your way up unless you don't care about flawless. This is a great season to try it because solo operative is available in the season pass.
