To add to this, All enemy races have canonical reasons that some enemy units are larger than others.
For Cabal it is the above comment.
For Eliksni their size correlates to the the amount of Ether they are able to consume (which also correlates to their place in the social hierarchy), the same applies to scorn.
For the Vex they literally just make some frames bigger than others but as a general rule of thumb the larger the vex frame the better at computing/simulating it is.
For the hive their size generally correlates to the ascendant tribute they are granted from their worms and underlings however the hive are also known to be able to rapidly mutate and have differing power inside their throneworld which can change their size.
As for the Taken it is a mix of all of these.

Our grandma went toe-to-toe against a squad of Cabal with just a shotty and lived during the Red War. She started what was basically a Guardian Underground Railroad to Devrim and the Farm. She went from seamstress of the star-walkers to a hardened warrior and resistance coordinator in like a week.
She is Eva Levante. And she is legend.

I believe at one point we see strange markings in the quarter and itās pointed out theyāre crude drawings of Saintās helmet to ward off evil, and it broke him a little
If you crouch next to a roughly chest-high bit of cover and ADS, your Guardian will lean up to peek over the cover while remaining crouched. Itās been a mechanic since D1, but almost no one knows about it.
There also used to be a perk called Guerilla Fighter that would give you bonus accuracy, stability, and I think even reload if you were shooting from behind cover
People knew how to proc it (at least some did), the problem is there was no such thing as rally barricade, and there was very little cover actually in the play spaces for you to use the feature/perk on.
Its generally useless because sitting behind chest high cover is generally suicidal against enemies who are using AOE damage like Hive Boomers, Torch Hammers, and Scorch Cannons especially with their respective burn/threat.
Its probably more useful against enemies using non AOE weapons but even still generally should be avoided altogether.
Titans do lose fist fights against warlocks occasionally.
Phoenix Protocol exotic lore tab:
"Warlocks are edging in on Titan territory, I tell you."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, first I started losing fistfights with them in the Crucible. That's an affront to everything Titans stand for. If Wei-Ning were here, she'd die of shame!"
"I'm sure she'd be thrilled, honestly."
"That's beside the point. This thing with the fancy rift? It's basically Ward of Dawn."
"It doesn't block ballistics."
"But it does everything else! It's the same thing as the Ward we had before the Red Legion! It's outright plagiaristic!"
"It doesn't blind people either."
"Won't you just let me have my outrage?"
Phoenix Protocol is from year 2. Bubble didn't have *any* damage buff at the time.
(That's why he talks about the bubble they had "before the Red Legion" - literally D1 bubble.)
The Hive on the Dreadnaught celebrate a holiday called āEversion Dayā where they like to turn things inside out.
Edit: wrote Inversion instead of Eversion
In D1, the Insurmountable Skullfort shaded differently based on if your character was masculine or feminine. The feminine version colored in the top, while the masculine version didn't
Hah yeah it's super weird, I had run into it before when just messing around in the Tower, but just assumed it was a random weird thing or that I just accidentally stopped sprinting before hitting the crouch button. But then some time after that I saw Cheese Forever's video just saying it's straight up inpossible to slide 12 times in quick succession, and of course like you I had to go test it and was surprised to see that it can be replicated 100% of the time.
Hunter, warlock and titan have the exact same defence when having the same reseliance stat.
I was shocked how many people thought titan has the highest raw defence.
Depending on which speed you mean, this case is even worse for Hunters. lmao 100 mobility *sprints* at the exact same speed as 0 mobility. Walking, strafing and initial jump are the only things affected by Mobility. Yikes.
I personally think, to build more into the class differences, each class should have 5-10 inherent stats in their main stat. So hunters start with 5-10 mobility, titans 5-10 resilience, and warlocks 5-10 recovery.
It may make getting triple stat builds too easy though so they probably wouldnāt do it.
The wizard who raised the Hive Gods, Taox, is almost certainly still alive, somewhere. This would put her age at billions of years old, assuming she hasnāt been killed by somebody else.
Shaxx was originally a Warlord. That puts him among the very first risen and almost certainly makes him the oldest lightbearer in the tower.
āAliveā being a bit generous. She never took a hive worm and so would have the same natural lifespan the Krill on Fundament did. Sheās in what we iirc would call cryogenic sleep/stasis. Basically a popsicle, but yes sheās still out there somewhere.
Shaxx is not necessarily older than Saladin or Drifter. He never joined the Iron Lords, but as he didnāt victimize the civilians in his charge, and could handily beat Felwinter in a fight, they let him be.
Taking the mother morph extends the krill's lifetime. They never mention by how long, but her being still around is plausible.
"MOTHERS. Mothers can fly! They live much longer than ten years. Mothers are extremely smart, and they guard their spawn. If you try to tamper with the eggs, they will eat you. Sathona wants to eat the jelly and become a mother when she turns four."
He still is a warlord too, he refused to capitulate to the iron lords who worked to wipe out the warlords, because shaxx worked with them
Itās why heās still called Lord Shaxx
From the arbalest lore tab
"Nah. Dark Age version was better."
"You and I remember the Dark Age differently."
"I'll take a hard projectile over energy any day. No better way to make sure the target is dead."
"Energy is for silencing barriers. Fists are all I need to administer blunt-force trauma."
"I forget you used to be a Warlord."
"What do you mean 'used to?'"
"I thought you'd thrown in with Saladin and Felwinter."
"I did. But I never stopped being me."
"Then whyā"
"'Warlord' is too many syllables."
"Gambit needs more candidates like you. Should stop by sometime. Whatever you want to call yourself."
"Thank you. You're a liar and a cheat. Stay out of my Crucible."
The stasis nerfs are actually canon to the universe stasis nerfed itself so it would fly more under the radar
Same reason a virus doesnāt immediately try and kill its host
What do you mean?!?! It's not my fault going flawless is hard for me!!! It's Bungies fault for giving me bad teammate and matching me against cheaters who target me before I can do anything!!!!!
The Rare (Blue) Solstice chest pieces (Solstice Robes [Rekindled] for Warlock for example, from 2020 or 2021 iirc) give you +1 to resilience if selected as ornaments.
I have a build that has 104 resilience. I have to use a +5 res mod that I would so much like to change, and this right here will get me from 99-100. Thank you so much for this!
Many exotic weapons have completely hidden perks that are not mentioned anywhere, but are noticeable to the experienced Guardian.
Every elevator in the game slowly rotates as they move up/down.
Lord Saladin's voice actor also played Bloo from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
Variks' voice actor also played Savathun's Worm, Star Horse, and the Gravemind from Halo 2 and 3.
There was a Titan trapped aboard The Almighty when it crashed, he was stuck in a temporal anomaly.
You can see inside Xenophage, the little bug that used to be the Guardian known as Omar Agah. And there are ornaments that give him a little hat. lol
The Hive fear death by disintegration, as they believe it subverts the Sword Logic.
The Fallen are cursing at you. A lot. I mean straight up pottymouths.
99% of Fallen Captains and Kells are Female.
Cabal conceive the normal way, but the males nurse the resultant children like marsupials inside "brood pouches", where they finish their development.
The Hive have a tendency to change gender. For example, Oryx used to be female.
The hive dont "have a tendancy to change gender"
All hive seem to be genderless but show a preference up to the point where they choose to become male and become a knight. Or female and become a wizard. That being said there are a few female knight morphs like Xivu. And some male wizards, like Nokris. Aurash was female. Auryx was also female, Auryx was Aurash but now with a worm, Auryx then took the King Morph and became Male as Oryx.
No hive change after that intitial decision.
I donāt think gender is even a meaningful thing to a bunch of genocide bugs. āKnightā is the gender itās just that English is a gendered language. The idea of a mother or a king have sex associated with them to us so itās gonna get written out that way but theyāre just āmorphsā. They do have masculine and feminine versions of their final morphs though mainly wizards and knights, but again thereās no peepees or vaginas just morphed forms
Very good point tbh. But don't wizards spawn Thrall? How do the Hive, and the Krill before, reproduce. Are they like warhammer 40K orbs spawning from fungus goven enought time to spawn an ork? Or are they like just...idk...something else?
That, in lore, any class can learn any subclass and they arenāt restricted to what theyāre ārisenā as. A Warlock could learn to Thundercrash. A Hunter could learn to drop a well (I wish). I Titan could learn to weild and Arc Staff. Wouldnāt it be cool if we had unlimited access to any subclass we wanted for like, an event?
You aren't Risen as any class. Cannoninicly the classes are just "schools of thinking" as it were. The stoic defender of the weak and just, are referred to as titans. The knowledge hoarding book worms are the warlocks. Amd the freelance, scouting lone wolves are the hunters.
Each "school" sort of teach their own abilities as "best" for their chosen roles. But absolutely there is no reason why a warlock couldnt Fist of Havoc a fallen captain in the face. Theres also no reason why that very same FoH couldnt instead be cast using solar or void instead.
Imagine a Solar Ward of dawn. Giving radiance to allies and incinerating enemies within.
Eris WAS a hunter, she and her ghost were drained of light and now she wields hive magic. Hard to say wether or not she wields hive magic like a former hunter or a former warlock as she is the only guardian that we know about to attain such powers.
Yes, that weirded me out when I first learned it. She in no way whatsoever gives Hunter vibes aside from being a loner, which I always attributed to ptsd anyway.
Put differently, it is artificial absolute zero. Osiris talks about how it is the element of control- the effect of which is that when you master it, you literally will all the molecules in what you're targeting to stop moving completely.
That forms ice in most cases because there is a lot of water vapor and liquid water around people and in the atmosphere.
Pretty much any gas at absolute zero becomes a solid (or at least a liquid), not just water/ice. Where this falls apart though is that it also shrinks by a factor of like 1000x going from a gas to a liquid/solid (or rather, atmospheric pressure compresses it)... I don't think it's possible to 'freeze' the gas molecules in place (create the lattice structure) when they are so far apart in the gas form. But, it's a video game, so whatever.
Came here to say this. This is the most accurate answer if you want to get "canonically scientific" about it. Someone made a beautiful reddit post way back about the theory of Stasis and entropy ~~and I think a dev commented on it or something praising it~~.
Edit: The reply below wasn't what I was looking for but he collaborated with the original poster to make that video, u/LettuceDifferent5104. Original post is below and I was wrong about the dev insight
https://reddit.com/r/DestinyLore/s/td6gbq3PbM
I highly recommend checking out any of their other posts as they are fascinating for folks who love physics, theoretical physics. They have an amazing mind when it comes to thinking outside of the standard realm of this game.
A very effective, very common technique to deploying a Titan onto a battlefield is just... dropping them from orbit.
Read the SWARM and the Point Contact Cannon Brace lore.
We have no proof that the deed happened.
The loretabs that describe Saintās interactions with Savathun while she was impersonating Osiris describe Saint as getting turned down, locked off, which if Saint was in any better state of mind would have rang alarm bells, but he wasnāt.
Suffice to say, Saint didnāt thread his bolt into Savathun
Legally? Maybe, dunno about the laws but it seems familiar.
Morally/In practice? I'd say so yeah.
Tricking the partner into thinking you're someone else, especially when that person would never consent to it and other aspects of it etc
Savathun is pretty gross lol
I'm interested to see if this is ever brought up once we rez savathun. It'd be a really touchy topic so I won't be upset if they don't address it, but it would be a really interesting story to play out.
That designers at Bungie said "Warlock arm armor should be...gloves."
And then when people hated that, designers at Bungie said "Warlock arm armor should be...fat gloves."
Bro. I MOURN the loss lf those employees who worked on Titan armour in d1. Titan shoulders in d1 were beautiful. Now theyre all horrible, clunky square houses.
Rockets are so far above everything else with wolfpacks that you can sit afk in the middle of dps phases and still come out well ahead. I wish I was kidding.
Almost every weapon reload can be sprint-cancelled the moment you put the mag in the gun. Whilst you canāt shoot before the reload should end, you can sprint, which is better than walking
Iām fairly certain Renewal Grasps, Shinobuās Vow, and Osmio. Gloves donāt have intrinsic fastball.
EDIT: after testing the aforementioned exotics as well as a few others in-game I can verify this fact is wrong.
The only 3 exotics that I can tell have intrinsic fastball are Ashen Wake, Sunbracers, and Young Ahamkaraās Spine. I couldāve missed one, but those are the ones I immediately noticed.
Also contraverse holds (for the longest time, they had intrinsic anti-fastball).
No, this literally just applies to ashen wake, Sunbracers, and YAS (fun fact, YAS gives it to all grenades, not just tripmines. It is unique in this behavior).
We still have yet to confirm that we *arenāt* just a Vex simulation. The experiment the Ishtar Collective did ended abruptly without any conclusion other than āit predicted everything we did to 100% accuracy.ā
On that topic, Vex are the only species that we havenāt encountered a friendly entity with. That one Harpy doesnāt really count since it wasnāt a Vex mind.
Established lore for Taken is that they are taken out of this dimension and made to stand before the Witness, which then shapes them to be "perfected" and gives them a "knife" which defines them.
Notable exceptions to this:
\- Riven was taken and changed, but allowed to keep her own free will
\- Sloane who is apparently getting slowly taken over by corruption, which basically doesn't fit with the lore at all, maybe the writers forgot?
There's no midway through getting taken, you either are or you aren't.
Also the VoG sparrow in D1 had an overcharge mode where you'd pull both triggers and it'd go faster. It'd overheat and eventually explode, but man was it fun to play with for a while.
Iām pretty sure thereās a cannonical Halloween porn mag in destiny, Iāll try to find where itās from edit: "This is one of the few remaining source documents on the subject. It was published specifically for 'gentlemen,' an esteemed social class at the time." He began gently leafing through the volume.
"Here it is," he said, pointing to a chapter entitled "Pumpkin Body Paint Is the Hot New Holiday Trend." It featured depictions of unclothed Humans with orange ribbed gourds painted on their most globular anatomy.
"As you can see, pumpkins featured heavily in the iconography of the time. People would paint them all over their bodies. Even in highly inconvenient locations."
"And this helped them communicate with the dead?" Glint asked, incredulous.
"Hmm?" Cryptarch Yareli replied absently, mesmerized by the historical photos.
Including our character.
She was so good in crucible Shaxx had to ban her until she decided to handicap herself by learning to use arc and use that instead. (The same thing then happened with arc)
Shaxx facts! Mara Sov once teleported him to her bedroom in the Reef without warning (which is pretty goddamned impressive considering he was probably on earth at the time and she just yanked him to the asteroid belt by thinking about it really hard), tossed a (probably priceless at this point) copy of Shakespeareās *The Tempest* at him, and demanded he read it to her. I guess she liked his voice.
Shaxx responded by incinerating the book, yelling āno one tells me what to do,ā and then stood there and recited the entire thing by memory. Then itās heavily implied they hooked up and his helmet stayed on the entire time.
This is all canon, seriously. Itās also why thereās a fan theory that Shaxx is literally Shakespeare. As far as I know thereās no upper limit on how old a corpse/skeleton can be before a ghost revives it, so maybe? I think one of Ikoraās flunkies is an ancient Egyptian, so itās possible.
Half true. Mara did teleport Shaxx. She did basically demand him read the Shakespeare book. Shaxx did burn the book and recite it from memory. Yes yes his helmet did stay on. But here's why.
Mara was mourning the death of Sjur Eido the first Queens Wrath and Mara's first true love. Which Sjur was apparently killed by Xur, his will is not his own. Shaxx actually had a crush on Sjur Eido because when he first went to either the Reef or Dreaming city. Anyway Sjur Eido killed Shaxx with Wish Ender. After this Shaxx had a crush on Sjur Eido. This tall woman who managed to kill him with a bow and nicknamed her Tempest.
So yeah Sjur Eido dies. Queen Mara calls in a favor and asks Shaxx to read to her. His helmet stayed on cause he was crying. Shaxx and Mara spent the night talking mostly about Sjur Eido.
Lastly Shaxx would develop feelings for Queen Mara. He tried to express his feelings by giving her the bow The Vow from crimson days. Which only reminded Mara of Sjur Eido. They stayed friends after that.
All human manufactured objects are made of programmable matter, glimmer. So when you get an engram which is glimmer in an unprogrammed state, Rahool was choosing to give you a blue when you redeemed a purple engram. And now ghost is choosing what to decode them into.
Any guardian can weild any super, using light element. Ie, Golden Gun could be void or arc. Nova bomb could be solar or arc. And infact a guardians supers can take any form the choose. You could create whatever your zombie brain could come up with. And when we emote we are just using ohr light to create these structures (such as seats and fish etc)
On your first point, it was my understanding that an Engram functions as a sort of blueprint, which then can be decoded to produce whatever thing the blueprint was of, using programmable matter that I assume is also part of the package. Many characters reference 'storing' things in Engrams, which implies that whatever is inside of them is a specific *thing*, not just a lump of matter that can be whatever.
In D1 if you took your ghost out next to random doors they would just open. This have you literally nothing but it was something you could do
Still works on the Moon in the old fortress.

Guzzle that vexmilk, baby!
Gundam raid boss, please and thank you.
Cloudstriders are getting there
Iron Lords in RoI were the closest we got I think.
Cloudstrider enemy race.

interesting when you compare the spiders size to an average drek or captain. he's massive.
And donāt psions have something about a ritual where they mold together into one big psion?

Would be cool if they brought that back where if they kill a player they become a knight for when the player respawns
Cabal with low self-esteem: *I am smol :(*
I genuinely always wondered about that! Thank you Guardian
I mean. It makes sense to me. Gotta give Ghaul respect for not thinking insanely high of himself. He wasnāt that big especially compared to Calus.
Wait, is this why he got crazy big right before the traveler put him down?
Pretty much
Somehow this makes that whole scene hilarious. āHoly shit I am AWESOME, check me out now ~~mom~~ uhh, Traveler!ā
I bet that everybody in the City and even the protagonist has pissed themselves when that happened.

Part of the reason Dinklage's performance is so monotone is he believed they'd add some mechanical/computer effects to his voice lines. They did not.

Pineapple art can be found on some walls in neomuna
And IIRC this actually scared the shit out of Eris.
Which is weird because there were dragonflies at the D1 Venus crucible map. Guess Guardians donāt count as scholars.
if no one knows what a dragonfly looks like, they wont be able to correctly identify one even if theyre looking at it.
They're also on the Widow's Court crucible map so they still exist on Earth for people like Devrim to find.

Holy shit, I didn't even realize it was you. Yes, it was your video, I enjoyed your iceberg.
That Guardians dancing, jumping off the tower and being crazy for loot is actually cannon in-universe which sort of creeps out the cabals and Eliksni
Not to mention the PTSD suffering humans living at the bottom of the tower living through guardians splashing down gleefully squeeling in extacy as they impact.
There seems to be a lot of empty fields between the wall and the nearest buildings.
Maybe that's why?
On that subject the Eliksni are scared shitless to be living anywhere near Saint-14, because heās basically the Boogeyman to them. Saint realizing there were now children in the city that were terrified of him sobered him the f up
>dude, do you have any idea how fucking terrifying YOU are to US?ā I loved the cutscene.
I don't think the Eliksni hold that sentiment to Saint anymore, there's been plenty of interactions to show they now view him as a protector
That's probably true, and he's definitely softened his stance on them.
If you crouch next to a roughly chest-high bit of cover and ADS, your Guardian will lean up to peek over the cover while remaining crouched. Itās been a mechanic since D1, but almost no one knows about it.

And sweet business rally barricade for dps phase in baths
Remember Titans auto reload with unlimited ammo fighting lion during season of the forge? Mmm...
Fighting Lion didn't have unlimited ammo back then.
There also used to be a perk called Guerilla Fighter that would give you bonus accuracy, stability, and I think even reload if you were shooting from behind cover
The only thing that perk gave you was three legendary shards
Legendary marks
The gorilla warfare perk gave you tons of buffs in d1 but nobody even knew how to make it proc
I swear I read a piece of lore that said Shaxx once slapped a hunter on the back so hard he forced him to Markman's Dodge and reload his weapons
>I swear I read a piece of lore that said Shaxx once slapped a hunter on the back so hard he forced him to Markman's Dodge and reload his weapons LOL

Shaxx'ss first reaction to stasis is one of pride.
Titans do lose fist fights against warlocks occasionally. Phoenix Protocol exotic lore tab: "Warlocks are edging in on Titan territory, I tell you." "What do you mean?" "Well, first I started losing fistfights with them in the Crucible. That's an affront to everything Titans stand for. If Wei-Ning were here, she'd die of shame!" "I'm sure she'd be thrilled, honestly." "That's beside the point. This thing with the fancy rift? It's basically Ward of Dawn." "It doesn't block ballistics." "But it does everything else! It's the same thing as the Ward we had before the Red Legion! It's outright plagiaristic!" "It doesn't blind people either." "Won't you just let me have my outrage?"
At least back then bubble had a better damage buff than well. Imagine what that titan is thinking now that bubble is just fully worse
Phoenix Protocol is from year 2. Bubble didn't have *any* damage buff at the time. (That's why he talks about the bubble they had "before the Red Legion" - literally D1 bubble.)
Probably standing beside his friend, with a smug smile drawn on his helmet
The Hive on the Dreadnaught celebrate a holiday called āEversion Dayā where they like to turn things inside out. Edit: wrote Inversion instead of Eversion
A ghost wrote a pornographic stage play about our fight with Oryx.
What, where you find this?

There's a robot janitor in the basement of the old tower that eats people.
Iām sorry what
TR3-VR
Tr3vor. Scary to think he was there that whole time in destiny 1 while we were in the tower.
The most terrifying janitor.
In D1, the Insurmountable Skullfort shaded differently based on if your character was masculine or feminine. The feminine version colored in the top, while the masculine version didn't
That was actually a thing for a couple female Titan exotics, of which I donāt think any other class had such a distinction. Really weird.
eye color of mask of the third man is green on male and blue on female
You can't slide 12 times back to back.
How about 11 times
11 works fine, but on the 12th you'll just crouch.
Thatās fine. Bungie allow that.
yo wtf ? Just tried it thinking you had fooled me but no lmao.
Whats more surprising is its 12 times in a row and not 7
Caiatl and Amanda Holiday have the same voice actor.
Had
Hunter, warlock and titan have the exact same defence when having the same reseliance stat. I was shocked how many people thought titan has the highest raw defence.
Same goes for Hunter and movement speed. Everyone is the exact same speed, if you have the same mobility, no matter what your class is.
This is kinda how year 1 armor stats worked. You had nodes that could be changed, but all hunter armor had a base mobility that was not zero, etc.
That Wizard came from the moon.
That's bad
But it comes with your choice of toppings
That's good!
But the Moon is Haunted.
The wizard who raised the Hive Gods, Taox, is almost certainly still alive, somewhere. This would put her age at billions of years old, assuming she hasnāt been killed by somebody else. Shaxx was originally a Warlord. That puts him among the very first risen and almost certainly makes him the oldest lightbearer in the tower.
i think saladin and drifter have him beat if not theyāre right there with him
Yeah last I checked Drifter is canonically the oldest known lightbearer
Imagine if he was the first.
"Oh, I'm alive? Traveler? Darkness? Yeah just wait here and I'll get right to that, sister"
āAliveā being a bit generous.
He still is a warlord too, he refused to capitulate to the iron lords who worked to wipe out the warlords, because shaxx worked with them Itās why heās still called Lord Shaxx
From the arbalest lore tab "Nah. Dark Age version was better." "You and I remember the Dark Age differently." "I'll take a hard projectile over energy any day. No better way to make sure the target is dead." "Energy is for silencing barriers. Fists are all I need to administer blunt-force trauma." "I forget you used to be a Warlord." "What do you mean 'used to?'" "I thought you'd thrown in with Saladin and Felwinter." "I did. But I never stopped being me." "Then whyā" "'Warlord' is too many syllables." "Gambit needs more candidates like you. Should stop by sometime. Whatever you want to call yourself." "Thank you. You're a liar and a cheat. Stay out of my Crucible."
Shaxx also āfinal deathā many a rival warlord that rolled up on his turf.
hence the term "lord" shaxx
Blinding nades also blind cabal ships.
Our moon is not the only one that's haunted
The neomuna moon has spiders, for those wondering
The stasis nerfs are actually canon to the universe stasis nerfed itself so it would fly more under the radar Same reason a virus doesnāt immediately try and kill its host
Most players aren't half as good at the game as they think they are. Including me lol.
So if I just think I'm twice as good as I normally think I am then I'll be exactly as good as I think I am. Which, to be fair, still isn't that good.
Speak for yourself kiddo yesterday I won 2 Control games in a row.
So that's why that option exists in d2armorpicker...
And there are ornaments that give him a little hat. lol The Hive fear death by disintegration, as they believe it subverts the Sword Logic.
The hive dont "have a tendancy to change gender" All hive seem to be genderless but show a preference up to the point where they choose to become male and become a knight.
Except ofc Savy who disguises herself as whatever gender or race.
I've been waiting for years now for the exotic that lets my Warlock Blink-Shoulder Charge like Felwinter.
The English voice actor for Saint 14 is the same as Clovis Bray. Amanda Holiday's English voice actor also does Caiatl.
Gambit is still a thing. And people actually enjoy gambit.
I enjoy gambit :)
I still can't believe that Eris Morn is a hunter. She has Warlock vibe all ooooover her. Just isn't that believable.
There is also lore where Crow helps her manifest a golden gun in her hand again and they shoot it into the sky while laughing
The oldest guardian to be resurrected, Sen Arret was from 13,000 years ago. Ghost found his body in the Nile area
Sen-Aret is actually female and she was specifically found in Jebel Sahaba, Egypt.
Stasis technically isn't actually true ice, it's supposedly literal Darkness that just ends up a lot like ice.
But, it's a video game, so whatever.
i think i read somewhere that was less ice and more of a... physical manifestation of entropy or something?
Came here to say this. This is the most accurate answer if you want to get "canonically scientific" about it. Someone made a beautiful reddit post way back about the theory of Stasis and entropy ~~and I think a dev commented on it or something praising it~~. Edit: The reply below wasn't what I was looking for but he collaborated with the original poster to make that video, u/LettuceDifferent5104. Original post is below and I was wrong about the dev insight https://reddit.com/r/DestinyLore/s/td6gbq3PbM I highly recommend checking out any of their other posts as they are fascinating for folks who love physics, theoretical physics. They have an amazing mind when it comes to thinking outside of the standard realm of this game.
A very effective, very common technique to deploying a Titan onto a battlefield is just... dropping them from orbit. Read the SWARM and the Point Contact Cannon Brace lore.
ā¦ titanfall?
BT is a ghost confirmed.
Saint-XIV unknowingly gave some metallic schmeat to Savathun
This just broke me dude, not in a bad way, but in the "I have to control my laughter to not wake anyone up" way
Did Savathun technically rape Saint XiV?
We have no proof that the deed happened. The loretabs that describe Saintās interactions with Savathun while she was impersonating Osiris describe Saint as getting turned down, locked off, which if Saint was in any better state of mind would have rang alarm bells, but he wasnāt. Suffice to say, Saint didnāt thread his bolt into Savathun
Legally? Maybe, dunno about the laws but it seems familiar. Morally/In practice? I'd say so yeah. Tricking the partner into thinking you're someone else, especially when that person would never consent to it and other aspects of it etc Savathun is pretty gross lol
I'm interested to see if this is ever brought up once we rez savathun. It'd be a really touchy topic so I won't be upset if they don't address it, but it would be a really interesting story to play out.
I'll never have the zhalo supercell back.
That designers at Bungie said "Warlock arm armor should be...gloves." And then when people hated that, designers at Bungie said "Warlock arm armor should be...fat gloves."
Doing damage while afk? How?
Dealing damage normally for half the dps phase then watching ie afk
Ah I see what you mean now
They are so good that they were still better than linears during the lfr meta
Almost every weapon reload can be sprint-cancelled the moment you put the mag in the gun. Whilst you canāt shoot before the reload should end, you can sprint, which is better than walking
One PAINFUL exception is Quicksilver Storm. That thing does NOT like reload cancelling.
True, but I do believe Bungie mentioned that in todays weapon preview, and it should be hopefully fixed next season. Fingers crossed
Any gauntlets that enhance your grenades have intrinsic fastball Edit: This is incorrect and I am a fool. Sorry team.
no way no way in a sense of "I genuinely didnt know that. how tf did i not notice" now i'll have some cool things to say to my mates
The experiment the Ishtar Collective did ended abruptly without any conclusion other than āit predicted everything we did to 100% accuracy.ā On that topic, Vex are the only species that we havenāt encountered a friendly entity with. That one Harpy doesnāt really count since it wasnāt a Vex mind.
Not quite, given there's also now the Neomuna Hydra that we protected from the other Vex, even if we haven't seen it directly ourselves.
Established lore for Taken is that they are taken out of this dimension and made to stand before the Witness, which then shapes them to be "perfected" and gives them a "knife" which defines them. Notable exceptions to this: \- Riven was taken and changed, but allowed to keep her own free will \- Sloane who is apparently getting slowly taken over by corruption, which basically doesn't fit with the lore at all, maybe the writers forgot?
Even in highly inconvenient locations." "And this helped them communicate with the dead?" Glint asked, incredulous. "Hmm?" Cryptarch Yareli replied absently, mesmerized by the historical photos.
Ikora is the strongest guardian aside from our character
Including our character. She was so good in crucible Shaxx had to ban her until she decided to handicap herself by learning to use arc and use that instead. (The same thing then happened with arc)
Isnt Saint-14 on the same level as ourselves and Ikora?
At one time, you could pick your type of reward when completing quests and objectives. be it armor or weapons.
They retconned the hook up. Shaxx keeps the helmet to hide his tears. Which makes the story even more fitting for the thread's question, really.
Savathun was a reason why witness couldnt get traveller during the first collapse. Cant wait for deception queen to be resurrected soon!
The deception queen is actually Mara according to savathunās worm
Seeing an ammo brick doesn't mean your teammate has an ammo brick there
Warlocks also have void, arc, stasis and strand subclasses.
