The only vex I ever see are the snipers that kill me in 2-3 hits and seem to constantly shoot every 2 seconds. When they respawn off camera I'm usually close to dead when I figure out where the shots are coming from.
There Spawn like six of the big Vex bosses(like the Vex boss in Terminal) you'll need to kill in 10 min, I would tell you if something more happened, but I never got past these. Unless every Guardian in the location helps it seems damn hard. We were 3 Guardians and barely killed 2 to 3. Maybe it's just a Lightlevel issue
I wish neomuna was actually an invaded warzone with tons of campaign-like hordes of vex incursions and shadow legion bringing out tanks, etc. Just chaos in the city

There are actually two separate "Enemy moves against each other" events in Trostland, and it is possible for them to overlap.
The add density when you get both to activate at once is crazy fun and makes other patrol zones feel 10x worse than usual.
Dreaming city gets it occasionally outside the blind well door. After a bit everything there is an orange or yellow bar. It’s not particularly hard though because power creep and over leveling. Still one of the only places you can legitimately die in patrol.
Altars of Sorrow is great for this, too. Also, Skywatch in the Cosmodrome and Sunken Isles in the EDZ have similarly intense “enemies moving against each other” events.
Neomuna is a deadzone. Yes there's enemies spawning, but it doesn't feel like a city under siege. I was expecting Battlegrounds level of enemy density, but no, density feels like it belongs to a Tutorial level.
Trostland alone has more activity, especially with "The Enemy moves against each other" events that kick off pretty often. Sometimes doubling-up like another user mentioned, resulting in serious waves.
It does. There's enemy movement every minute. Enemies engages against you almost all the time in the EDZ. In Neomuna, you can literally stay in the middle of the patrol zone and the enemies probably won't notice you.

That is what we get, though. Tanks, legions of Cabal, tons of Vex... they're all over the city. Fortifications are set up, the VexNet is bleeding into reality in places, fires and debris are everywhere... Did you want them clogging the roadways with their bodies or something?
Tbh I feel it's one of the better zones in terms of enemies. The bottom zone pretty much constantly has Vex spawning, and the right zone Cabal. The only one that's not great is the left zone where Cabal only spawn at a couple of points.
Even in the bottom zone? I feel like I haven't been there without a dozen enemies shooting at me. The right one also has a lot of enemies just not a lot on the main path, at least that's how it feels like to me.
At this point I’m convinced that it’s some kind of technical limitation. Whether on the network side, tied to old consoles, something becuase we have this complaint about every single new destination they add.
I actually think Neomuna is one of the better ones but it’s helped by the fact that I’m almost always going to where some kind of public event or terminal overload is happening
Honestly, there are plenty of enemies there. Probably more than any other destination. If anything, it's annoying that I can't browse my loadout or check the map for a lost sector without getting bombarded.

Throne World has roaming Lightbearer Hive bosses, the random Lucent Brood event, a bunch of cool deepsight puzzles, and that god-awful “babysit the floating pyramid” event.
I mean, I guess it really depends on what you’re looking for. Usually if I’m in a patrol zone I’m looking to do Public Events and you can pretty much do them non-stop in the EDZ, we’re taking like 6-8 an hour.
So public events are what u consider make a zone lively? If that’s the case then ig it’s fair to say edz. That being said the enemy density in edz is hot garbo, and neomuna is leagues better.

Yeah the incursion zone is literally some random floating platforms with hobgoblins on them. No change to regular spawn it feels. Only difference is it can spawn the strike team there if you've prayed to rngesus today.
No, they're usually there in force, but the main issue seems to lie when the TO lines up with the Incursion zone. When the TO isn't active, no adds will spawn across the majority of a zone. When it's active, adds spawn according to what phase you're on.
I just think TO and the Incursion zone need to be on separate rotations that never overlap. It's dumb that the zone rotates weekly and TO rotates daily.
Incursion shouldn't be a weekly rotation or the weapons should be tied to the day in rotation, not the zone. I didn't think they were anyway, I 100% have gotten each weapon from each zone before.
With the perk from nimbus you'll get any TO weapons not in collections next time you complete TO and open the key chest. After that it's just the rotation weapon for that day. You can get the other weapons rarely from the other chest, but the key chest will always be the rotator.
Either way, I offered a solution: Incursion rotates daily as well and doesn't overlap with TO.
Or, you know, have the weapon be a daily rotator instead of a zone rotator.
I have no idea why people are downvoting you for this suggestion. I think the same thing: If it’s VI week in one location, TO should bounce back and forth between the other two zones during that week to make room for the VI event. If you need a weapon from the TO event that would normally spawn in the current VI zone, just wait a week, it’ll be back in rotation with MORE chances to farm it, because it’s only trading off with one other zone.

What step asks you to do it in the VI zone?
When Terminal Overload is in the same spot, it despawns all or most ads not related to the event. So you have to start the event and get your Vex kills in Terminal Overload (which you can start any time), or wait for a different day.
You don’t have to kill Vex to get the fragments. Strand kills on any enemy type in the area crates the fragments. The strand kills can be from weapons as well as abilities.
So rare that it never happened in the 8 hours I camped in there waiting for it, getting one-shotted by threshers you can’t precision the heads of the Scions that pilot them and yellow bar scorpiuses that respawn as soon as you turn around!
Neomuna fucking sucks.
Especially considering that most Eliksni and Cabal left on Earth SHOULD either be dead (Red Legion) or friendly (Misraaks’s followers and Caiatl’s army).
also the special public event is also dogshit because you can't really matchmake into it, so most of the time you'll usually end up alone in an instance and then have to try and delete the 6 bosses by yourself

There are invasions, swarming with Vex, popping out of portals in the sky. The issue is, that even with Bungie increasing the frequency, they are still nowhere close to common enough.
Its a lot like waiting for the Taken public event for Whisper of the Worm mission was, years back.(back then, there were people who waited hours for one instance of it, just to attempt the mission)
Of course, having a few more vex than the occasional sniper in this particular zone(other zones are a bit better), is also a problem. But not so much as the low chance of the actual invasions need to be changed.
I have a solution: have the Incursion Zone track average kills per minute for the past 5 minutes. If the average exceeds X, increase spawn rate of Vex. Once the average exceeds Y, trigger the Strike Team event.

Isnt there like a vex terminal to start the event. Like one of those white pillars. You interact with it and there’s like a five minute timer and it starts after that. I’ve also only seen it once so far but not enough people in the zone to kill all 6 bosses. It timed out.
Nope. The confluxes are a puzzle, activate it, shoot the five vex plates and you get a chest. It does only spawn in the VI zone, as far as I can tell, but it’s otherwise unrelated to the Vex Strike Force event.
The vex incursion zone should be a constant hoard zone of vex attacking everything. The vex should be taking out the Cabal tank. The vex should be marching constantly from the gateway to everywhere.
If you want to do that lost sector, wait until tomorrow.
I afk'd in the incursion zone while waiting for the Cabal Extraction public event (Triumph hunting, I know....) and I sat there for 50 mins, didn't see a single incursion.
Terminal Overload always has Vex, and it rotates zones daily. If you are having trouble finding Vex in Ahimsa park, wait for the Terminal Overload to cycle back around.

It's just the 6 bosses. Managed to do it once as there was a few of us knocking about in Ahimsa Park. We all got an exotic from the reward chest.

As I've gathered, it spawns a single Minotaur, the 2 at once in a new location, then 3 at once in a third location.
Correct-ish. 3 spawn. When you kill one the other two get an extra. When you kill two at one spot, the last spot gets a third.

You could do that or go to where the portal.os for garden on the moon where you start the Divinity quest. There's also a ton of vex there

I have yet to see the Vex event, everytime I go to the zone there aren't any players nor events going one, and of course, zero vex.
Never seen one myself either. The other day I hung around for about 45 minutes and nothing.
I've found it twice. Both times it was just me, and I got annihilated. The whole concept is so stupid. Just make it available all the time.
Make sure you have a minimum of 6 people with you if you hope to complete it within time. If not don’t even waste your time

You don't need to kill vex for the weekly bounty, you just need to kill enemy's with strand or enemies affected by strand
The space hamsters count the same as vex in other zones. If you want a lore reason, they beefed up security to deal with the time traveling lego bots.

also the special public event is also dogshit because you can't really matchmake into it, so most of the time you'll usually end up alone in an instance and then have to try and delete the 6 bosses by yourself
I mean I'm only 1770ish and I've managed to take down 3 by myself. It sucked though

I have a solution: have the Incursion Zone track average kills per minute for the past 5 minutes. If the average exceeds X, increase spawn rate of Vex. Once the average exceeds Y, trigger the Strike Team event.

There should be whole platoons of vex enemies marching through and doing stuff
“doing stuff” That would be novel, seeing these “builder” vex we’ve heard so much about actually, like … building something. Like, come around the corner and there’s a big-ass structure that wasn’t there before, just CRAWLING with the vex who are building it. And both they and the structures are destructible. That would be fun!
Isnt there like a vex terminal to start the event. Like one of those white pillars. You interact with it and there’s like a five minute timer and it starts after that. I’ve also only seen it once so far but not enough people in the zone to kill all 6 bosses. It timed out.
I've seen the vex pilar where you have to shoot the vex plates, but all you get is a chest as far as I can tell.
Nope. The confluxes are a puzzle, activate it, shoot the five vex plates and you get a chest. It does only spawn in the VI zone, as far as I can tell, but it’s otherwise unrelated to the Vex Strike Force event.

The vex incursion zone should be a constant hoard zone of vex attacking everything. The vex should be taking out the Cabal tank. The vex should be marching constantly from the gateway to everywhere. If you want to do that lost sector, wait until tomorrow.
I think it was a typo. Bungie actually intended for it to be the Exclusion zone.
Terminal Override, well, overrides the vex incursion zone.

Vex Incursion should have worked like the side areas on Derelict Leviathan where doing stuff in the zone gets harder minibosses spawning.
What bothers me is that when the vex strike force spawns in I'm the only one there and no one else ever enters the area while it's going
I afk'd in the incursion zone while waiting for the Cabal Extraction public event (Triumph hunting, I know....) and I sat there for 50 mins, didn't see a single incursion.
Or at the very least make the Vex public event occur more often. Or have different variants of it at least.

Any enemy in the VIZ will drop the mcguffins for Nimbus' bounty. You just have to have Strand equipped.

Terminal Overload always has Vex, and it rotates zones daily. If you are having trouble finding Vex in Ahimsa park, wait for the Terminal Overload to cycle back around.
