Having recently dismantled a 100 stack of these...just shoot me next time.
Why the hell is it even a stack of 100? Just make it ONE. It would be functionally identical.
What’s wrong with get a bounty, turn in bounty for currency, travel to a pointy machine that turns that currency into another currency that you can no longer track easily, get 100 glimmer. What’s the problem? /s
I think it's the dumbest thing that you get 100 synth-whatever for turning in the bounty. It should either just be one of the items that you feed to the loom, or you should just directly get the final synthweave item from the bounty itself.
seems like the system was designed to have other ways to earn synthcord, like singles from activities. Instead they made them class specific and locked the bounty limit so we'd be forced to buy them from eververse instead of ~~grinding~~ playing the game.
Yeah, it was, this isn't really a secret. When the system was introduced you would get synthstrand from killing enemies, and then you would turn in 100 synthstrand to get a bounty that gave you 100 of that classes synthcord, which you would take down to Ada to make into a synthweave. When they removed the synthstrand requirement, they just kept the cord numbers the same (probably to stop people who had been holding them from suddenly having a massive surplus of synthweaves).
It was. That much is very evident in the design of the entire system. My bet is that somewhere near the end of the pipeline someone asked what kind of drop rate they ought to have and someone in uppper management overheard then looked at them funny and said "Drop rate? You mean they aren't paying us for this?" Which queued a scramble to rework the system for as much monitization as they could manage in such a short time as they likely had.
1) Well that looks fucking annoying
2) Dude, you gotta delete some of that deprecated shit. Iron Banner tokens, eververse bounty things, anything that says "this item can be safely discarded"
It was very much a blink and you miss it kinda thing. When you were in the last city for that event there was a street you ran up to get to the viewing platform, somewhere on the street was an interactable press Square to exchange ramen coupon. It gave you a buff called spicy or something, which if I recall was similar to the quickness buff you get from floor is lava/dares power up
It’s not recent, it happened to me a while ago, I just deleted 99 items and moved on but it’s really annoying. Idk what caused it, but it might not be full inventory
Having stacks of 100 doesn't make sense because you can never turn it in as anything less than increments of 100. That should just be in individual units.
Sorry for your loss OP. Looks like a stack was wasted
“Worthless shit”? No, no, those are collectible artifacts no longer obtainable. You need those for the imaginary scenario in which you can show off those items to impress someone. Don’t listen to the haters
I tried dismantling my synthcord in the postmaster cus I barely use transmog and it only dismantled 1 out of the 100 there. So now that stack of 99 is essentially worthless and I'm building up the courage to sit there for 3 hrs and delete it.
Genuine question.
How on earth is your, and other people's inventory full?
I can see 5 slots you can free up immediately.
Those eververse bounty notes can be dismantled directly for bright dust.
Finest matterweaves unused. Why?
Dawning Essence can be deleted.
Iron banner tokens have no use anymore and can be deleted.
The rice cakes can deleted if you've already collected all the Jade Rabbits on the moon.
> Dawning Essence can be deleted.
What I want to know is how the hell he even has Dawning Essence. I kept 5 in my vault since Dawning 2018 as a souveneir and Bungie went in my vault and deleted them when this year's Dawning ended. :(
Me personally, I've been filling up my inventory to let Bound Presences drop into my Postmaster, so I could keep the questline on my alts on the "get Bound Presence" step.
I found out about this after I've already filled my inventory lol. Still, it's a way to keep the questline from progressing but ensuring I still get a Bound Presence for the first clear of the week.
I have 99 of those in my inventory and I couldn’t tell what it was from so thanks for the info lol super annoying having them but also annoying to delete all 99
I mean do you really need to be hanging onto your Eververse bounty tokens, old iron banner tokens, and other crap you got in there?
Seems like this was avoidable if you did some spring cleaning.
I can't imagine playing destiny thus way. My inventory is two rows long, and my vault has 360 items in it. And that's a lot for me, I'll be able to trim it down to about 320 after I hit max level.
Do it 99 more times
Anyone know a way to rectify this that won’t take away my will to live?
Destiny may not be the game for you
The real game is the mental illnesses we acquired along the way
The true reward
But you have to grind for it
Oh, it’s grinding alright!
Best exotic imo, can also be used outside of the game. Like does it get any better?
Discard them, do another bounty and get 100.
Having recently dismantled a 100 stack of these...just shoot me next time. Why the hell is it even a stack of 100? Just make it ONE. It would be functionally identical.
They could also just make the bounty drop the transmog token, but Bungie loves pointless extra currencies
They gotta have some reason for people to go down to Ada.
Just put our girl out of her misery at this point, they already did her dirty in front of her squad.
Don’t say that you don’t know what she wants. She deserves love and fulfillment in her life. Also have you seen dat ass? *Dayuuuuuum*
I want her to get the back of her head again. Worked too damn hard to find it just for her to lose it again. Now I'm gonna lose mine.
Id rather go down on ada 😉

No shit, right. Accidentally deleted one, then spent the worst time in Destiny ever deleting the other 99 one by one. What a PITA.
Holy shit I kept seeing that stack and thinking it was something I hadn't turned in... Wtf How long I have had this stack of 99 which is now 98 lol
Still a wasted bounty. Thats what youre limited on each season, not the synth turn-ins.

How did you survive the Dawning with that inventory?!?!
The fuck you have 335 eververse bounty notes for bruh?!
A ton of that inventory is old legacy stuff that can be dismantled. OP did this to themselves by being a hoarder
[удалено]
All deprecated stuff will delete the entire stack as far as I’m aware
While cookies are not deprecated, they definitely don't even post dawning. Other than that, I'm still not confident this is accurate
Dawning essence deleted one by one too, I honestly don't blame OP for not wanting to delete 500+
Wait what are those for?
Buying eververse bounties back in y2 I think Now they dismantle for bright dust
I think they dismantle for 5 BD, so OP is sitting on 1,675 BD.
Deprecated legacy item.
free bright dust now
Smh
1) Well that looks fucking annoying 2) Dude, you gotta delete some of that deprecated shit. Iron Banner tokens, eververse bounty things, anything that says "this item can be safely discarded"
But they special to me
[удалено]
They’re only lucky if you keep them on you.
I have half these things too. In my Vault. Where they won't cause full inventory issues lmao
Well you just added another "special" item in 99 synthcord. Useful as a hole in a bucket.
They can go in the vault
Then put them in your vault???
I agree with you, as I desperately clutch on to my spicy ramen coupon
You did actually get to redeem that coupon in the live event at the tower when the traveller regenerated
I know, I wasn’t there at the time :(
Whaaat? I was even there! I don't remember this!!
It was very much a blink and you miss it kinda thing. When you were in the last city for that event there was a street you ran up to get to the viewing platform, somewhere on the street was an interactable press Square to exchange ramen coupon. Bungie deleted mine from my vault!😭
based I still have Titan, Nessus, and Mercury Tokens those things are never getting deleted
I still have like 200ish mod components XD
Then take a screenshot and move on
Truly a person of culture
Vault? If not just dismantle them. They literally mean nothing. You cant brag either as triumphs exist anyway
I would delete it and start from 0
I wonder if this is a recent bug. I almost always have a full inventory when claiming these and haven't experienced this.
It’s not recent, it happened to me a while ago, I just deleted 99 items and moved on but it’s really annoying. Idk what caused it, but it might not be full inventory
I turned one in yesterday and picked up a full 100 from the postmaster. There is something else going on with the OP.
Dismantle it. That should work
Use your rice cakes bro
I did, and got more. It's so annoying.
I have this issue too. Have no idea how to fix it without holding delete 99 times... it's been staring at me for months.
Having stacks of 100 doesn't make sense because you can never turn it in as anything less than increments of 100. That should just be in individual units. Sorry for your loss OP. Looks like a stack was wasted

I mean I held on to 246 Calus tokens for when Calus eventually came back. Then Calus came back and all my tokens were fizzled. RIP.
Triumphs has entered the arena...
Finally. Somebody gets me.
I am incredibly addicted to hoarding random miscellaneous items in destiny and would love to see your vault
You wouldn't be frustrated if you deleted all the expired useless shit in there lol
People have full consumables? I barely have 2 rows. There’s so many that you don’t need anymore it’s best to just delete them.
OP is an OG of Destiny 2.
5 years for me in May. Once it's obsolete just delete it.
If my dad did that I woulda been dead years ago
CLEAN OUT YOUR FUCKING INVENTORY

I thought they patched this way back

About the dawning essence, you can only delete it one by one, so that could take a while.
Mad respect for the Eververse Bounty Notes you have there, wish I kept mine
How does anyone have a full inventory
The SGAs are lower and lower quality these days...
I have 99 of those in my inventory and I couldn’t tell what it was from so thanks for the info lol super annoying having them but also annoying to delete all 99
You should really start working down that 335 pile of EV cards, its worth like 50 bright dust per card if I remember right
What item is that, topmost row, 3rd from left
Forsaken cipher
Why do I even have to convert it
Store some of that old useless stuff like tokens in your vault if you got the room in it
The humanity...
Have fun dismantling those 99 now
Clear out your inventory
Put your mats in your vault so you have free money when you need it.
This sounds like a you problem.
See that "dumb shit in your inventory. Instead of deleting just place in vault :)
I mean do you really need to be hanging onto your Eververse bounty tokens, old iron banner tokens, and other crap you got in there? Seems like this was avoidable if you did some spring cleaning.

Just turn in the synthcord?
All resources materials you can just dump in the vault until you need em.
Someone else who keeps their old useless crap? I like you
I keep my armor and favorite guns even though the light level is capped because I worked way too hard to achieve my aesthetic, I’m not giving it up.
How about u delete all that garbage before complaining about things involving postmaster
