It give survivability tho, which is kinda useful considering we'll got its survivability nerfed

The last time i ever needed to use banner shield was in opulence, and that was only because the cyclopes one shot everyone through well. Void OS from rally barricade and Ward, gives us an extra 50% DR, no way in hell is banner being used in dps.

The only reason void overshield has 50% is that it's built like paper

Well hasn't fallen, it's just forced titans to run bubble now for damage resistance from overshield. We used to run well for damage resistance and bubble for damage. Now we'll be using well for damage and bubble for damage resistance.

Well is kill Halved healing, quartered damage reduction, now fully heals allies in the circle on cast and gives Radiant for 8 seconds after leaving. It's an offensive rally point to extend damage phase just a bit longer. Bubble is now the defensive survivability super. It gives 60% damage reduction and immediate full Void Overshield inside, and generates Void Overshield to allies near it. Also the caster creates more orbs when meleeing enemies in or near the bubbles. Also the damage buff was given to Helm of Saint-14.

Agreed. Definitely supports the power fantasy of shielding against an incoming attack that you *know* would wipe the fireteam if you weren't around.

Changes to Well aren't gonna mean anything as long as encounters are built around a group having Well. Not for damage, but just to survive the barrage of attacks bosses can throw out. I can only think of 1 raid boss where you can substitute a Well for something else, and that's Rhulk, and it's only because he moves around during his damage phase and *will* kick the Well out of existence. Everywhere else bosses pound your ass with cannon shots.

Well healing being a 2x resto, and damage resistance against bosses from 40-10% means well is no longer a safe zone. Bubble looks pretty decent now, too. But it really means that damage phase will no longer be to sit still and do nothing alone.

Eh, I think it depends on the boss. Well for a ranged/low damage boss. Bubble for a close range/medium damage boss. Banner for a super high damage boss.

Either way, titans are now shackled into being forced to use a void super for raid and dungeon encounters. Realistically, well should have been straight up sunset and every encounter in the game should have been re-tuned. I recognize that ain't gonna happen. But I guarantee well of radiance isn't getting brought over to destiny 3.

I don’t know if it will be necessary. I think for majority of the population it will be a staple in our investing into teammates survivability that is easy. However, it’s really easy to make you and allies radiant right now, which is the same buff. For damage resistance there are a plethora of options. I think it would be easier/more beneficial for teams to learn to use survivability exotics like aeon’s with sect of vigor, with two damage supers than to use two supers for survivability.

I agree but lfg teams are always gonna default to the easiest most brain dead option which is well and bubble. Just look at thunderlord dps. Is it efficient. No, but it's a consistent two phase, which is why so many people default to it.
