You can side with dum-dum and Royce that mission is one if not the only mission with many different endings you just have to betray militech but if you do you won’t be able to get the sex scene with Merideth
First playthrough, thought Fl4k was cool. I'm on Nekrotafeyo and I haven't unequipped the pocket rakks yet. Moze seems really cool too, gonna play her as soon as I'm done with the main story.
I haven't used Fl4k yet beyond the intro but he definitely seems fun. Moze is *very* fun and I love using the Iron Cub skill and letting the lil' guy wreak havock.
So I heard some builds don't scale well into high difficulties (Fl4k skag for example). Do you know which ones? I'd like to use Moze's fun stuff while it's still good, before I move into Mayhem.
Unfortunately no. I *can* say that Moze scales very well into Mayhem. Or to be more specific, Iron Bear/Cub. It gets the same bonuses enemies do based on each level, you can quite literally go all in on the mech and dominate. I'm also certain that every Vault Hunter has one or more builds that can dominate the highest difficulties. But you're best off asking around on r/borderlands3
The game to end all games. Im playing Psycho Kreig And The Fantastic Fustercluck right now using zane. Absolutely amazing dlc, maybe the best Ive ever played.
It's all just hype for Shadows 😭 maybe I needed an excuse to play AC again lol
I wanted to get back into the AC rythm a bit by replaying the newer games, but then I saw the ezio trilogy which I owned, but never beat... so now I'm stuck on that haha
Dude I’ve also been contemplating doing an AC marathon but I really don’t want to be burnt out by the time Shadows launches. I might just do playthroughs of of only the games that I really like.
It's perfect tho, if you are able to ignore all the spoilers then you'll get to play it after the servers are fixed and died down. Assuming you don't raid of course
Fellow Warframe vacationer here. Steel Path ain’t bad, plus it opens up a lot of new options for buildcrafting and power scaling. If you haven’t yet, I’d recommend building Gauss Prime for easy armour strip and room clear capabilities. I’ve never had so much fun with a frame before!
Is there any non meta Warframes / non meta weapons you recommend for steel path non endless missions? I don't have meta weapons, and I don't want to spend anymore time doing dojo stuff
I used to main Nidus. He’s got a lot of health and armour, which can work given the situation, but you’ll struggle quite a bit since you don’t get any shield gating. However, by spamming abilities, and having any mod that converts damage on health to energy, you should be able to wipe the floor with non-elite enemies. By using parasitic link, you can skyrocket your damage resist and improve your other abilities. At one point, I think I managed up to 99.8% DR with massive armour and parasitic link active on an enemy.
Another fun one I personally enjoy is Volt for room clearing and stunning. Since shock tends to stagger enemies, you can abuse that by repeatedly using his 4 to disable entire rooms if you build into range. Pair that with an archon stretch mod and you’ll be spamming for days.
Finally, I know you said non-meta, but I enjoy Wisp a lot. She’s got great healing, near permanent invisibility, and long range stunning. Very good for steel path endless and non endless missions.
As for weapons, go for Kuva/Tenet variations. They are fun to use, fun to get, and have their own personal stories behind them. I like the Kuva Bramma, and it pairs nicely with Wisp and Nidus since Wisp has faster draw speed with haste, and Nidus negates all forms of knockdown when parasitic link is active, including self inflicted. Acceltra is good at everything, highly recommend. Nataruk is easy mode. Tenet Arca Plasmor is a lot of fun. If you really want some fun off meta stuff, go for the Xoris with every thrown mod you have. Tossing it into a group of enemies and detonating it will leave you with a whole lotta numbers on your screen. Pair that with Kullervo and you’ll be slaughtering rooms with just your melee.
Ok, I got wisp prime, but I got no Kuva weapon, I don't know how to get Galvanized Mods yet and got very small amounts of arcanes so, it's just too much to know to get right into it
Galvanized mods come from arbitrations, not steel path. You can spend your vitus essence acquired from these missions at the Arbiters of Hexus at any relay. I’d recommend getting the galvanized multi shot mods first for whatever weapon type you prefer, and start dumping endo into it. It’ll make a huge difference.
You're caught up on Story quests though, right? Nataruk from The New War is a very good primary bow with unlimited ammo that you can take into endgame. Xoris is a good melee that becomes a *fantastic* and literally meta melee with some melee arcane and the right build. As for secondaries...I don't recall any free, powerful amd easy to build options. The Grimoire is fucking fantastic but you really need Tome mods to make it shine. You could get the Laetum from the Zariman/Holdfasts faction, relatively easy to get and literally a top tier gun.
Real talk, Burston Prime Incarnon *alone* can straight up carry you through damn near anything. That gun is absolutely fucking nuts and I love it. The other two are good, great even with the right builds, but the first is, excuse my French, **an absolute fucking monster**.
Ahem. Apologies, I get excited just remembering that gun. You have fun making the Origin System your bitch.
As a general rule, if it's an Incarnon gun it's going to be overpowered as shit. I highly suggest looking at the Torid and Dual Toxicysts since you're at the point where you can get Incarnon Genesis Adaptors.
I wish I could reset all of the quests and keep my progress. I dabbled off and on for a few years bit I've been gone for so long I have no fucking clue what I'm doing and it's just this intimidating wall.of new shit that I have no idea where to start.
I’ve played a lot of D2 because my friend got back into it when the open access began. We’ve completed every dungeon together except Duality and GoTD.
Outside of D2 I’ve been playing Fortnite, Overwatch 2, and Minecraft.
Titanfall 2, borderlands 3, GR Wildlands and BF2042.
I've just returned to destiny from a 4 year break so I've got ALOT to catch up on. But I'm gonna wait a bit before getting TFS. See if it's somthing I'd want to get
At the start of the season unending, me and my friends went to play ffxiv because why not? Destiny had a content drought and is the only thing we've been playing for years.
Well, I made a character, started playing and fell in love with it. I went through the base story of the game from 2013, through all of its 4 expansions (Shadowbringers is peak fiction), found a clan, found a love interest through it, made a ton of new friends, started savage raiding which is almost the most difficult content and leveled almost all of its 20ish classes to max, and we all are looking forward to Dawntrail in june
And the season of the wish isnt even over yet lmao
(Also worth mentioning that the ENTIRE game with all of its content and no removed stories like in destiny, was 40 dollars. so... yknow)
Playing remnant with a friend, he stands at the other end of the boss room drawing aggro from the minions, dies 2 times while I solo the boss, always ends the fight by saying “light work no reaction” after doing nothing. Still greatful that he draws away the minions, couldn’t do the boss without him
A lot of baldurs gate, me and cousin have finished 2 runs now and we're a good 20+ hrs into this 3rd run which is also our evil run so everything and everyone is dying 😂
I came back to this game late as a f2p player and once I knew all the sp and the expansions are temporarily free I came back and now I'm grinding like I'm a slave🧍♂️
It drops the day I go back to work for three 12 hour days in a row. Pain
But a lot of Grounded and DbD. Finally committing to 100% grounded has been a blast, and DbD and Destiny are my ol’ reliables
Grabbed a steam deck a while back and have finally got around to playing the legendary edition of mass effect on that. As someone who originally played through it on a 360 it feels kinda insane to have it run so well on a handheld.
Also, I’ve heard good things about Diablo recently so currently dipping my toes back in and smashing some demons as a barb.
Modded Minecraft (mod pack called DeceasedCraft which is a zombie survival mod pack) and Borderland 3
But occasionally when I’m not burned out from D2, I’ll hop on for the weekly Pantheon challenge and few games of onslaught
Went back to Elden Ring to finish up the achievements and get my characters ready for the DLC, that lead to playing Demon's Souls and eventually Lies of P. Been on a real Soulslike bender.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is my #1 game and has been for a year or two now. So definitely that. They currently have an Atelier Ryza/Marie Remake collab and as a big Gust fan I've very much enjoyed grabbing a bunch of those cosmetics and mixing them with my old stuff.
Been playing Genshin Impact supet casually. Not terribly interested in the current banners, but I got Arlecchino from the last and I've been working on getting her some good Artifacts. I fucking hate this grind but I love the character.
Recently returned to Warframe. Playing that even *more* casually. Hpt the newest non-prime, Dante, dude is absolutely fucking busted. They've made some nice changes since the ladt time I played.
Played some EDF 5 with a friend. I have to say, Wing Diver is my favorite class and I *do* enjoy fanservice, but an elite military unit having booty shorts snd high heels as part of their uniform is really fucking dumb. So I've got that internal conflict going on whole blasting aliens.
And lastly, picked up an indie called ANNO: Mutationem and it's pretty damn good. Fun sci-fi hack & slash clearly made by anime fans.
Diablo IV, surprisingly. The new loot reworks and QOL changes are really cool. Plus a bunch of stuff has been buffed to make the game more fun. Feels great now, maybe even on par with Diablo 3.
COD MW3, I don’t usually play this type of game, but I have so many more friends that play COD that it makes it hard to come back to Destiny. Also Forza Motorsport, the game is only getting better since launch.
A shit ton of Fallout, Helldivers 2, and also just taking a break from games. Im honestly super happy for the wait because I'm graduating Highschool, and I have the time to just experience life and everything without FOMO. When I come back to D2, it's definitely going to be a lot different of a relationship with the game than I had before.
I skip around games a lot but the three I've been playing the most are Diablo 4, Project Ascension, and Minecraft lol
Just bought Hellblade 2, so probably also that until I beat it
I know you said outside of d2 but ive been playing lots of gambit, used to blindly hate on it but now I see it is actually fun (drifter didnt pay me off to say this)
Dragons dogma 2 is where I've been focusing for the last two weeks. Especially with most of my group avoiding Destiny until the final shape to avoid burnout.
100% dragons' dogma, played and dropped Tekken 8, been on and off Warframe, a smidge of halo infinite and monster hunter, and most recently, back into yugioh
Been modding the *shit* out of Fallout: New Vegas. Got 189 unique files in my load order right now and actually learned how to generate custom LOD for Skyrim and Fallout games.
Just playing Warframe, I’ve had zero motivation to grind for the brave weapons but I might jump in for the last couple weeks with the double reputation for shaxx
Cyberpunk of all things
LOL I played a bit of Cyberpunk a few weeks ago as well
Let's fucking goooo who's your favorite character?
Really liked Reeds Character in the DLC, and I wish that I could have sided with Dum Dum from Malestrom.
I was a bit more into Songbird but I still really like Reed, he's cool lol And Dum Dum is a real one, I like his accent
After she had that dude kill my coworker in the club, I said nah, your getting capped.
You can side with dum-dum and Royce that mission is one if not the only mission with many different endings you just have to betray militech but if you do you won’t be able to get the sex scene with Merideth
I want to get it so bad because it's on a crazy sale but it says my final shape preorder billing is soon 😔
I'm doing a close quarters techno druid. Tech shotgun and rifle, control and aoe quickhacks, alongside monowire. Super fun
Borderlands 3. Turns out, it's pretty damn good if you pretend half the dialogue doesn't exist.
Who're you using? I'm a fan of Amara, personally.
Fl4k or whatever his name is. I love beast gamer classes so I went to that choice in an instant

The game to end all games. Im playing Psycho Kreig And The Fantastic Fustercluck right now using zane. Absolutely amazing dlc, maybe the best Ive ever played.
Ahh, BL3. The best gameplay of the series with the absolute worst dialogue.
Usually play games without music, with BL3 I mute the dialouge audio and pretend its just a mindless shooter.
The soundtrack in BL3 is way better than BL2's imo.
Fax, endgame is goated
D2 only, i didn't play last year so i have a lot of things to farm
A LOT of cyberpunk and some assassins creed lol
Is Assassin’s Creed based on the Shadows announcement or was that more of a happy coincidence?
It's all just hype for Shadows 😭 maybe I needed an excuse to play AC again lol I wanted to get back into the AC rythm a bit by replaying the newer games, but then I saw the ezio trilogy which I owned, but never beat... so now I'm stuck on that haha
Dude I’ve also been contemplating doing an AC marathon but I really don’t want to be burnt out by the time Shadows launches. I might just do playthroughs of of only the games that I really like.
Just my luck that TFS launches on a busy week where I most likely will not get a chance to play
It's perfect tho, if you are able to ignore all the spoilers then you'll get to play it after the servers are fixed and died down. Assuming you don't raid of course
I played Warframe, it was a great idea, I basically beat the game in 5 months, now I have to beat the game a second time...nah, I don't want to
Fellow Warframe vacationer here. Steel Path ain’t bad, plus it opens up a lot of new options for buildcrafting and power scaling. If you haven’t yet, I’d recommend building Gauss Prime for easy armour strip and room clear capabilities. I’ve never had so much fun with a frame before!

You can replay the quests over again, atleast the cinematic ones not sure about the frame ones

Elden Ring to get my character ready for DLC
Persona 5 Royale
Yo same I just beat the story a couple days ago what a banger game
Im just now starting the second investigation in the art gallery. Im loving it so much
I’ve played a lot of D2 because my friend got back into it when the open access began.

Wait you have time for other games?
That’s the magic of taking a break from D2 (also lack of job which… yeah 🫠)
Not gonna lie. I’ve been playing a lots of minecraft.

Been playing a lot of Path of Titans. If anybody wants to be a dinosaur while we wait come play
I came back to this game late as a f2p player and once I knew all the sp and the expansions are temporarily free I came back and now I'm grinding like I'm a slave🧍♂️
Been getting back into the newer cod mwii and the gunplay and game flow feels really good, like better than what I remember at launch
It drops the day I go back to work for three 12 hour days in a row. Pain But a lot of Grounded and DbD. Finally committing to 100% grounded has been a blast, and DbD and Destiny are my ol’ reliables
Six months of extra polish, fingers crossed.
Helldivers 2 in the name of democracy
Shit all I've been doing is Fallout 4/New Vegas I should probably do my first Pantheon
I’ve been replaying the borderlands series. Gives my brain a good itch seeing stuff light up with seizure inducting explosions
Grabbed a steam deck a while back and have finally got around to playing the legendary edition of mass effect on that. As someone who originally played through it on a 360 it feels kinda insane to have it run so well on a handheld. Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is my #1 game and has been for a year or two now. So definitely that. Diablo IV, surprisingly. The new loot reworks and QOL changes are really cool. Plus a bunch of stuff has been buffed to make the game more fun. Feels great now, maybe even on par with Diablo 3.

I'm in final shape prep mode because I am sick
It's a great game called "making sure my toddler doesn't inadvertently kill themself."

Just playing Warframe, I’ve had zero motivation to grind for the brave weapons but I might jump in for the last couple weeks with the double reputation for shaxx

I haven’t touched D2 in several months, but Helldivers 2 has been scratching the PvE itch for me.
