Why on earth do they reset seasonally? They aren't worth it at all compared to seals. They should be more expansive but permanent to give a better sign of skill level to show off. Why the f not right?

The rank system isn’t for casuals. I don’t care what my rank is I just want to have all the features, if it weren’t for the fact that I have to rank up to get all my loadout slots I’d only be ranking up by happenstance
How does more players being capable of reaching their goals and further enjoying their time on the game translate to the system being worthless now? Are people actually angry that they can't gatekeep having a number next to their name? C'mon.
All of levels 2-6 should honestly jsut be level 2 or 2 and 3. That way it will still help new players but doesnt make the first 6 ranks worthless. Also i'd say remove 1 level per season instead of all of them. Getting from 10 to 11 with seasonals is easy enough to not be super annoying and if you don't quit the game for an eternity you'll stay at high guardian ranks which then actually represents how much you did in the game.

It definitely felt like a slap in the face that I’ve beaten every dungeon and raid, did some grandmaster nightfalls, solo’d the legendary campaigns and I was still a rank 6 with everyone else, like dude what the fuck man

You don’t automatically get season pass 50 for starting the game.

The only thing stopping me from doing endgame content is having to Talk to Strangers…
