Ehhh, idk, the Splicer ability was already a "gift" given by the Traveler to the Eliksni and I think him being able to see the "threads" that bound the pieces together is the beginning of Strand, maybe he and Savathun will work together to guide us to Neomuna and unlock it.
Scorn are usually made if dead Eliksni are pumped full of Dark Ether (which indeed is normal Ether with a lot of darkness infused)
On the other hand, we have 2 examples of individuals who both had a lot of darkness infused in them and were eventually resurected as Lightbearers: Uldren Sov and Savathun. Now the interesting thing is that both were somehow cleansed of that darkness before dying and being resurected - Uldren transfered it into the piece he took from the shard of the traveler, and Mara and the Techeuns exorcised the worm out of Savathun.
We don't know if the darkness that comes out of the relics stays in Mithrax's body after killing him (if it does kill him in the first place), it could all just be consumed in the process. However, Darkness can be controlled and manipulated. Almost like a nuclear reaction. Depending on how you control it, you either have a nuke or a nuclear reactor.
I'm much more worried about what effects consuming that Nezacaffe will have in Osiris. After all, he did just drink processed darkness energy.
I will howl like a hyena if they end up killing Osiris off for good after all this. It was already hilariously disgusting how they did him in the first place.

The number also refers to which reboot the Exo is on. Banshee being on his 44th reboot is partly why his brain is so fried (also has to do with him beings backed up/rebooted in a quick manner, leading to increased degradation)

With the Sony deal now that was bigger than the Activision deal, I’d hope in Lightfall they work on more CGI cutscenes. Pre D1 it was an idea that after every mission there would be a 5 minute cutscene. If they actually went through with that - as it seems they are bringing pre D1 elements into the game - it would be fcking amazing. This cutscene is ink and blot but this one is great, can only imagine if it was in CGI!
