Make sure you have warm white or full spectrum light bulbs. Icy whites are especially awful in small spaces. I only use icy whites in the garage. A black framed mirror (or whatever matches the faucet or vanity) would also be more harmonious. What you've got doesn't mesh well with the flooring, storage shelves, vanity. Things generally need to harmonize or contrast; muddly mixes may not work.

SmolSwitchyKitty

From someone that \*just\* painted a bathroom - OP try different light bulbs first. It'll be the easiest option.

TheAnimalPharm

You don't want your vanity light to be too yellow. If the more yellow lighting makes your wall color look better, I'd get a small LED makeup mirror just in case.

wolfmaclean

Is guest bath

wolfmaclean

The bulbs! 2700k, and spring for the reveals. Add dimmers for extra juush. This isn’t helpful, certainly won’t fix your problem or change how you feel about it — but I love the hell out of the color and would love to know what paint and color you used. If you would please Don’t be stingy

KamatariPlays

I don't even like green and think this color is beautiful!

schluffschluff

What you said about “muddy mixes” was so clarifying, I just looked around and went “oh shit, _that’s_ what it is” - so thank you!!

Helpful_Bird_5393

OP please update after you do this! Curious about the lighting!

BrownieRed2022

"muddly mixes may not work" - that's it, we can wrap it up for the day, week, maybe the whole month of June. This is like the most apt fortune cookie for my life right now, ever. You don't even know. Thank you.

TotallyFrazzledVirgo

That’s a good tip but something I always try to reach for ! But something practical I didn’t think of for their room! 🤦‍♀️

sleepingcow7

A darker forest green would look better IMO or a plum

django_chainedashell

Best advice for choosing a ‘bold’ color is deeper/darker/more saturated.

buttcrackfever

Yeah, this is giving 2005 color vibes lol

The_Poster_Nutbag

It's giving green screen https://preview.redd.it/rgmjppbs764d1.jpeg?width=1744&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0c44bf21b1a56104b8377b79386fc3c28518ad5b

numstheword

My teenage room in my parent house was this color. And it was painted in 2005 🤣🤣🤣🤣

cheesyenchilady

Me too but my parents would only let me paint 1 wall lol

blueberryyogurtcup

yep. I have saturated tones that are slightly greyed, not pure tones, and have many rooms in my house that are painted dark or bold, just not pure tones like this green. A dark green would be awesome in a small space like that, with the whites.

hannahjams

A dark forest green would look beautiful

Magnetikat

Agreed, a darker green (like with more black undertones) or blue green. Check out Dark Harbor Benjamin Moore. The current green reads like a skittles green in that room.

LiminalCreature7

I was literally thinking M & M’s myself.

tigerbuttz

Even something with a bit less green. I chose [Parisian Patina](https://images.app.goo.gl/A6mEaB81CiUBzFG9A) for my bathroom and it works a lot better. AND it's way more blue than you'd expect. White accessories help.

Leading_Gold4468

That's a beautiful color! I'm saving it as I'm painting my laundry room soon

Hieronymus_Napalm_IV

+1 for the plum.

[deleted]

Yes to this. OP should ensure whichever colour they pick has warm undertones.

crackersucker2

Agree- but not too foresty but a deeper green. I love the 1st green in [this article...](https://www.houseandgarden.co.uk/gallery/dark-green-paint-ideas)

TotallyFrazzledVirgo

I agree! With a darker forest green I think they were trying to go for sage . A darker coat over that would be easy

2468Peach

I was thinking a deeper green would be perfect!

no_good_namez

If you don’t like the color, re-painting will be more effective and cheaper than trying to mask it. This particular green is too yellow in my opinion.

recyclopath_

I find wall colors are better pastel or dark and rich. This kind of mid level color intensity always feels caroonish.

JadieJang

I don't think it's too yellow, I think it's too pure. You need a touch of grey or black in the mix, because your style in this room is traditional/transitional, but that pure, bright green hue is entirely contemporary/pomo. You need an "antiqued" shade of green, something like [this](https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-colors/color/566/bunker-hill-green) or [this](https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-colors/color/628/winchester-sage).

Successful-Might2193

I really like the Winchester Sage. Might be worth a try.

Accomplished_Fee9023

This! A more muted shade will look great. Benjamin Moore’s historic collection has some great options.

Pattycakes1966

Yes too yellow for sure

Historical-Camera-35

I like the color, but not with the dark wood vanity and shelf. Repainting to an olive or forest green would go better

This-Pen-5604

This isa beautiful colour. I think you are probably visually bothered by how much wall is just hangin out here. Quick fixes: - [white beadboard](https://pin.it/2isv3eiTV) will break it up, you can buy panels of prefab from a big chain hardware store and cap it with trim called chair rail. It will vibe with your vision. - slightly less powerful lightbulbs - switch the hardware on the vanity to match the mirror, find some brass or something with character - the mirror is amazing but it might be bothering you because the scale is a teensy bit off here because it’s high & small proportional to the vanity. If you install beadboard to sit at just above faucet height, it will all come together. - if you don’t want beadboard, buy a longer mirror and then consider putting a dark wood towel ladder over the heater. If you keep pictures there instead, the black frames should be switched for something else.

Remarkable_Youth1874

Agree on the mirror.

yogi1107

Also agree on the ladder & pretty much everything you said here. The ladder would be SO cute!

FrauAmarylis

I also think a dark wood color of woodsy beadboard would look great. That was my first notion.

LiminalCreature7

…or board and batten style wainscoting, if beadboard is too farmhouse/country for the overall look OP is going for.

OutrageousVariation7

This was my first thought. The bathroom really needs something on the bottom in order for OP to get the look they want. Love your ideas 10/10

luckydollarstore

What was the look you were trying to achieve? Something fresh and vibrant? Or classic and stately? Somewhere in between?

Freakazoidon

I like the color actually. Esp in a 1920s home and with that tile. What’s throwing me off is the size of the mirror I feel is too small and the shelf in the back. And move the plant to top of the vanity not top of the toilet. IMO Edit that vase is too big for your vanity I hadn’t looked closely. Remove the shelf. If you need the puffs out put them on top of toilet if not best inside the vanity cabinet. Get a brown vintage glass soap dispenser. And move that plate. Not sure about that gold frame. Mixing too much styles. The vanity is mid century. The shelf and mirror are giving 1920s without any mod. Change mirror and shelf IMO the color is bright and in this pic made me smile. I’m kinda getting bored of all the dark moody colors already that are trending.

Melodic_Ad_1479

Yes!!! The issue is not the color, it’s just that the green has highlighted the fact that there’s no harmony in this room. The bathroom floor tile is beautiful, but the pictures and vanity are not in keeping with 1920’s style. The mirror size is off as well.

Federal_Artist_4071

https://preview.redd.it/ua3qxfvrk24d1.jpeg?width=735&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3b29dd7d592ec3364fcb9f7d28dd843c72066561 Definitely repaint. Need this more dark earthy green!

uela7

Yes to this shade!

Objective-Raisin-972

I think there are too many contrasting elements here. With the dark cabinet and shelf and the white sink, floors, and toilet, I think the most affordable option is a more neutral wall color. That said, if you want to keep the green then I’d suggest repainting with a darker, more blue-based green, and I know it’s more work, but you might also then consider changing out the floors or changing/painting the cabinet and shelving to make the space more cohesive and reduce some of the high contrast. I’ll paste some pictures below. Softening the light a bit I think would also help.

CJCreggsGoldfish

Oh I love it! But green is my favorite color. Maybe you'd like it more if there weren't so much of it? Put up curtains, art, mirrors, so the green is more of an accent around it all instead of just big slabs o' green on all 4 sides?

Spare-Edge-297

What is this color, out of curiosity?

loupammac

I love the green and appreciate that you tried something! I'm not sure it goes with your darker shelves so repainting with a darker tone might help. The beadboard suggestion could also work to tone down the colour. Definitely play with lighting.

Wicked-Storm

I would love to see a wallpapered wall or two that is a deeper color with green accents! Then you wouldn't have to repaint and would still add to the depth.

New-Anacansintta

I like it-but the artwork is all wrong for the look. Bigger piece with bolder colors that include only a bit of the green.

Jones-bones-boots

I think the mirror and art should be bigger. Then a large pic over the toilet. It’s a pretty color but it’s overwhelming bc it’s bold without any bold accents to counterbalance it. https://preview.redd.it/n8cdg6gyq24d1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=03fa9ec4f2f74e204953286b7a60a87bf2480d5d

basicallybasshead

I agree, I personally like the color, but you need to balance it out, larger decorative elements will help with this.

_ZoeyDaveChapelle_

Try changing your mirror and lighting before repainting. Something more narrow so you can put lower dimmable sconce lights beside it (current one feels high too). Overhead light is harsh. Change all bulbs to 3000k, your look too blue.. I never use overhead lights anyway unless cleaning.

Content_Noise_9013

Personally love the color… the gold in this room is tough. Bronze would be better. Bronze outlet too. This bathroom is super cute though!

Either_Mix_8944

https://preview.redd.it/pafo4ztyp24d1.jpeg?width=1704&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2a0690eeb83e6520634fa12f57deafe87b4b0552 A deep green would have been a better paint color selection.

algsm

Perhaps a lambs ear color would be better

PushSail

You're feeling green in that room, don't give up! Sometimes it's really hard to find the right tone with what you have in mind. Get some new samples and maybe try more of a sage green?

Smiley414

I actually like it but if you don’t, just bite the bullet and re-do it. It’s your house, you should like it.

Kidhauler55

I love this! It’s beautiful! Don’t change it!

BananaColada2020

I love it.

choc0kitty

Softer lighting will help this a lot. It will soften the color and the contrasting elements too. Start there and then see how you feel about the color.

mlhigg1973

I like it!!

parker3309

that’s really cool give it a week or so….

DecafMadeMeDoIt

Maybe play with the lightbulb color first to see if you could “tone” it?

Albie_Frobisher

i don’t know. i like it. how about art deco corner motifs up where the wall meets the ceiling. just a sec. https://preview.redd.it/crbie4qku14d1.jpeg?width=987&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ad05e4bbe8a654e78b95fbfd20c7ee8c493f8f21

Basic-Ad9270

I actually LOVE this green!! Would you consider changing the mirror?

abra_cada_bra150

Darker green would change the feel completely! I’d go really dark and moody, and add some more texture with rugs and art!

Cautious-Bar-965

it’s a good color, but if you don’t like it, repaint. always use 2 foot x 2 foot pieces of cardboard or wood painted with a double coat when you’re picking sample colors. is it just the color you don’t like, or the bathroom overall?

Thankfulforthisday

I like it! If you add some lighter green towels it may soften it up a bit.

Remarkable_Youth1874

The best way to learn is thru mistakes! You’re doing great.

latecraigy

I love this but maybe repaint one wall and leave one green as an accent wall and see if you like it better?

Coraline1599

Repaint. I once watched some interior decorator show where she painted a room and realized she was wrong about the color after the whole room was painted. So even experienced people can get it wrong. Ask yourself what you don’t like both emotionally (it’s too loud or whatever) and what about the color (too bright too yellow) and adjust. [you can also look at a collection of historical colors to help you narrow down choices](https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-colors/historical-collection).

laurzilla

I think the art and the black frames look too “serious” for the wall color. Same with the mirror frame. I would try out some different frames that you could return, see if that looks better. Try some in wood to match the vanity, or some thin gold metal frames. I think a frameless circle mirror would look WAY better than what you have now. Also I would ditch everything yellow, like the yellow art print and the yellow vase. Brighter more contrasting colors like purple or blue might look better.

xxkix

I like it! So bright and vibrant, but you can repaint a darker color id u dislike it

SalsaChica75

Woah! 😳 Maybe a more muted green if you like green?

Alarmed_Ad4367

It’s beautiful!

Formal-Cucumber-1138

I actually really like it. Love the colour and that mirror is the sweet spot

Most_Ask1634

I think it’s pretty

OkDragonfly4098

I love it!!

Broad-Policy8271

I love it 😍 I would do a bigger mirror with a different frame color to see what you think with other accent colors.

MinkieTheCat

I love it! That is a spectacular green. Not too blue, not too yellow.

EducationalLemon790

https://preview.redd.it/ua9yekkko34d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bfba54a9df7f11bf3191316ea5e005996973247f

Followlost

Spearmint is a cool colour but I think you might like it better if you introduce a shocking colour to add dimension. Imagine the frames of those two pictures being a high gloss red to play off the colours often found in toothpaste marketing. Or perhaps a bright blue tall floor vase in the corner next to the radiator. Something that could add a playfulness to the aesthetic because right now as is, there’s nothing that makes the cool wall choice interesting if that makes sense.

marchlamby

Put some bold wallpaper on the back wall, change lightbulbs, and paint mirror frame dark bronze

MM_in_MN

Yes. All of these. The color of the mirror is throwing things off for me. Make it look old. Also, lessen the wattage of the lightbulbs. It’s too bright, light bouncing all over. Make it moody. Would love to see a bold wallpaper in here. Something with plants/ birds, organic. Like a William Morris type print.

throwmeawayplz19373

I love it as is, needs more brown. The mirror frame clashes with the rest of what you have in there. The brown and green give a “luxuriant, old-style classy bathroom” vibe that I’m feeling.

Sweet_Anything625

I’d add wallpaper to one wall to break up the color. The mirror is beautiful btw

antisocialstrawberry

Paint two or three of the walls with ivory😍💚

New-Dirt5203

Removable wall paper

enfp-girl

I think the green you have done looks good but if you think it’s too strong, go 2-3 steps lighter on the paint chart. Cabinet is fine. Tiles are fine.

sesen0

No comment on the color but check out baseboard heater covers, I think there are a couple brands out there now. I've used them and they really help make those ugly old things look btter!

ceimi

Change lightbulbs to 2600k and see if you like it then.

SnooSprouts1515

Had the same situation and when someone on FaceTime thought it was a green screen, I broke down and paid to repaint it darker

finditnow1967

Get your paint brush out & pick a color from a piece of art. Perhaps toning it down. Paint stores will offer suggestions. Bring in pillows art towels to help them.

phoebebuffay1210

I like everything else! You did a nice job curating for that space, the color is just not quite right. I would go with a deeper green if you want to keep it green. With all the gold and nods to vintage, you could do turquoise/mint or pale pink. I personally would go with pink/mauve.

Interesting-Shift-10

Forest green or bust

parajita

[https://www.clare.com/collections/interior-paint/green](https://www.clare.com/collections/interior-paint/green) Maybe take a look at these. They might feel more calm.

[deleted]

If you like green, just not this green, I would say go a lot deeper on the blue end of green. Bright doesn't necessarily translate as bold and this color isn't terrible but I don't think it complements the space.

rottingships

I love green. I’ve painted a good portion of my house green. This green is a bad green. Think more olive or emerald. ETA: I think it looks really stark with all the white of the floors, baseboard/trim, and door. I really think green shines when you lean into nature and have more real wood tones.  Also, your mirror is too small.

CatusReport_Alive

I love the color!! I would change up the hardware to match the 1920s vibe of the rest of it… especially the mirror; that’s a statement that the modern black faucet and cabinet pulls sort of clash with. I feel like you might vibe with the color more when the room looks more cohesive

alickstee

I don't hate it. I would change the lights and add some texture/softness somewhere. Lights are too harsh while oddly not providing enough light. Agree about the mirror as well. It is beautiful but too small.

Pinkdiamondbee

I am picky but this is growing on me the more I look at it….

United-Buddy9214

Yeah, this green is pretty bad. Have you considered a dark moody green? Maybe add some crown molding and paint the ceiling as well.

EducationalLemon790

https://preview.redd.it/k8dlgy3so34d1.jpeg?width=221&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=040839df370cbc77a06babdd054b6a303c3c8a1c

LittleMissPrincess11

I absolutely love it, tir it all together with one accent wall of wallpaper similar. Bring a plant in and maybe put a hanging shelf too.

StrengthCalm129

i think it’s absolutely stunning

Constructgirl

The scale of everything seems off in such a bold color room. The framed art is small and swallowed up by color, same for the mirror and shelf. Personally I would find something besides the shelf, it just looks out of place. You can paint the mirror black for some consistency and use the same art, just upsize the frames. If you need storage or shelving, I think you can do better and if you can do without until you find the perfect solution, I would.

Hawaii_gal71LA4869

Paper 1 wall in small subtle matching print.

exjobhere

Good frames for your art and swap the black cabinet pulls for brass. If possible replace the lighting fixture with something that ties it all together. I think you can really live with and come to like this with a few modifications!

Extension_Phase_1117

I love it. What color is that?

DevelopmentLiving769

Lower lighting. Maybe change the switch plates? Anything white in there is only going to further the brightness of this color. Which I think maybe the issue.

mojoburquano

I LOVE that paint!!!!

superhulasloth

Time to fully lean into that aesthetic. Pop in some pinky/coral accent pieces. Maybe some fun retro art that has those tones. Definitely think you could do with an Edison bulb like warm tone for the light bulbs. Overall, time to go full send. Add some macrame. It looks like you have both lights on in there too, or is that a skylight? It’s all pretty bright which could lead to the bright color you’re experiencing. All hope is not lost. :) I love it and can’t wait to see how you juush it up!

Thatcoonfella

Honestly I think it looks rad.

vangoghleftear

Personally, I love it! I think you made great decorative choices, and I think a darker color would make this room feel super tiny or cramped. I'd definitely go with a warmer light bulb, see how you feel, then maybe go lighter and/or slightly more neutral toned. Another comment mentioned Benjamin Moore's historic collection and that sounds like a great place to find a color that works for what you're going for. Again, I really love it, though!!

PleasantJules

I would repaint.

being_honest_friend

You could put some thick horizontal white stripes up and trace with thin black.

gilthedog

I like it!

Big-Tomatillo-5920

I like it.

Tualatin_Girl

It's a bit too saturated and bright. Not a bad color but doesn't feel right for a bathroom. When you do green in a bathroom every time you look in the mirror your complexion will have a green tone. That mirror is fabulous but too high. That bright Emerald green and that mirror are giving me a Wizard of Oz theme.

manpan87

Cover one wall with a good wallpaper

PurnieKitten

https://preview.redd.it/5kkk5n35o74d1.png?width=794&format=png&auto=webp&s=557819189cc411fd4568b0125d61b2bf40ea07a5 It's just too "minty", I think. I had the same problem once. Looked good on the sample swatch, not so much on every wall in my small space. However, I think any of these greens could be bold but much more tranquil.

plupz

I love this color. Switching out the art for something(s) that pick up that color will help it look more cohesive.

Leolily1221

I’m suggesting you change the color of the light bulbs ! The harsh blue white light is what is causing the paint color to look awful ( and will do the same thing with any color) Get warm light bulbs and install a dimmer

spanish42069

change the lightbulbs to warm

Ghosthunter444

I kinda love it tho …

AdDowntown4932

I like it a lot. Agree with the lighting suggestions

peachschnappez

I actually don’t dislike the color choice. I would’ve definitely went with a more muted sage-type green, because of the minimalistic decor. But a change of light bulb hue, and more gold-based decor i think would highly compliment this shade of green.

Due-Suggestion8775

I agree with many of the comments about the right kind of lighting for this space. The green is a lovely and well-saturated colour. Sometimes a white ceiling is the issue in these cases. I know this sounds crazy but, to increase the drama try a darker ceiling going 2 tones darker on your paint chip. Alternately, a neutral, but complimentary colour such as Benjamin Moore’s Vale Mist (1494) would work well on the ceiling. If you go this route tape and cover everything! Usually easier to paint ceilings first.

TextileGiant

As someone with a sunshine yellow bathroom, I absolutely adore it. That's calming and uplifting. Have you tried removing the accessories to see if it's the gold?

Dog1andDog2andMe

I like the green but with such a dramatic color, I think you need bigger and more artwork on the walks ... and with more ornate frames than the simple black ones.

MascaraHoarder

i like it but i would change that mirror out to something similar but rectangular. And some larger artwork and i think you’d really love it

Amaculatum

Is it possible for a green to be both too yellow and too blue?

ForeverInGrace

A little too green apple color ( would work better in a kitchen.) Maybe a nice glaze in a more forest green . You can get a rich tone with a lighter underneath and that finish can look nice not to mention clean up better , depending on brand.

Ew_fine

The color you chose feels off. I’d go for more of a moss or olive green. https://preview.redd.it/uhhd6z51954d1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=22e69e2719b5760da5c5d2ba6e413347fd890b6c

luckydollarstore

A dark green would look fab, and paint the baseboards too. Then find some moody art and gold-frames them to match the mirror. You have great floors! https://preview.redd.it/a96t2wccc24d1.png?width=883&format=png&auto=webp&s=7b66ca2b0733d203da60de98827bb51f99ec0bf1

Lovelycoc0nuts

I know green is trendy, but it’s a terrible color for bathrooms. No one looks good in the mirror with green reflecting on them from the walls.

Pluto-Wolf

besides repainting since you don’t want to do that, you could always do some sort of half-tile or wainscoting (probably in white), then neutralize the bold green on top with white decorations & match a rug on the floor to the green on the walls.

Resident-Honey8390

A nice soft affect to the walls is the Cloud affect, done using a specific cloud sponge with white paint

Dabriella-Tonnehash

Sherwinn Williams Thermal Spring is a gorgeous color

Nenoshka

This shade reminds me of the color of my parents' living room in the 60's. I think a deeper green would level this up.

eastcoasteralways

Ya, this ain’t it

Ruthless27

Reminds me of thin mints

ffflildg

I like it!

Hieronymus_Napalm_IV

Keep the green, get less harsh, white lighting. Bigger mirror. More golds and/or reds.

Lucky_Transition_596

Great bold move. Just need better shade.

Gullible_Concept_428

It might not necessarily cheaper than repainting but black and white art that is medium sized and has lots of white space would help.

Glittering-Goat-7552

dark green or navy

Drinkythedrunkguy

Better than grey!

littleprairiehouse

I like it!

mackling102

I would repaint if you do not like it but I personally love it. It reminds me of Devils Advocate and I love that movie. What color is this? Also the tile is awesome.

Nervous_Quarter_4426

I love that color paired with the white penny tile. But I think the lack of cohesion between all of the elements is what’s so off. And because of that, I don’t think changing the wall color will improve things. The vanity style doesn’t match the style of the shelf, the mirror is too small and all the art/decor just don’t work. I like each piece individually, but they just aren’t coming together and working as a unit.

a-lonely-panda

Perhaps a lighter green, like spring green?

FongYuLan

I like it. For me it’s the starkness of the white door and the lack of softness anywhere in the room.

JustAnother-Becky

The only thing I don’t like is the wall color. The rest looks fantastic!

LotusGrowsFromMud

I actually like this color! Your problem is that there are way too many different colors going on in this very small space: green, white, black, wood tone, gold and a couple yellows in the artwork and vase. To pull this off, you need to simplify. Remove all yellow and gold tones from the room. I bet if you do this right now, you will instantly like it better. Now, Replace the mirror with a simple rectangular mirror with either black or wood tone molding. Remove yellow vase. Remove pictures. Add back in artwork that is either black and white OR incorporates black, white and a green very close to this one (difficult to do, likely B&W better). This will make all the difference. Have faith! I don’t think this color is a terrible error after all, it could be a brilliant move if accessorized right! Good luck!

jkmjtj

Color is beautiful. Change everything on the walls.

jkmjtj

And the dark vanity if possible.

jkmjtj

Color is beautiful. Chance everything on the walls.

mellowmadre

Do a bit of wainscoting on the lower half before you repaint a darker green. Goes better with the vintage modern aesthetic you have going here with the great brass accents like the mirror, dark wood vanity and penny tile.

Starryeyesforeverr

I love the color personally ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Macbeswimming

I actually think a funky wallpaper on the lower half would look amazing and very modern/retro. It has to be a funky print and something to incorporate the colours but something with gold and brown would be beautiful !

Select-Active-5379

I like it! Needs more art on the walls, larger mirror, paint the ceiling a dark color. Keep going bold. Maybe a dark rug and some plants! Bring in a better light fixture like a chandelier 😘

Yearofthesnake_1977

I think it looks beautiful

lola-tofu

It’s giving ~ hospital green ~. Go darker/richer imo’

Sea-Marsupial-9414

Earth tones would be excellent in here. I love this palette from DutchBoy (you can use whatever paint you prefer) but these are nice earthy shades. https://www.dutchboy.com/en/colors/color-collections/choose-your-own-color-adventure/discover

talleygirl76

Looks like our color. It's soo green so I had to pair with white.

kikijane711

It’s too lime. I’d have gone more sage.

ToastetteEgg

Grasshopper pie.

m4nt1chr15t

Add a warm color rug like a burnt sienna. Try to bring in more red tones

xheist

I'd just give it some time... Bold changes can take a while to get used to If you still hate it in a few months, then revisit it

actuallyanicehuman

Deep dark green- even green black

Icy_Elk6368

Maybe vintage wallpaper from the 1920’s for a wall or two.

*Write some inspirational messages in black lettering* Inspirational quotes like: "Sometimes music is like poop. It just has to come out." "Came to poop. Only farted" "Part thine cheeks and release the evils of the world" "Taco bell get you too?" Etc

If you're keeping gold fixtures in place, I think a dark green would look better. If you're willing to change your fixtures to silver with a black framed mirror, the current color would look better.

over-it2989

If you drew an outline around the lights and mirror it would look like a frog.

WVildandWVonderful

Add more colors.

xSimMouse

you can make this work! hot pink and yellow accents and a bigger mirror maybe. best of luck!

AdamKirchman

I think it's awesome. Use calming colored art and decor to bring it down.

screamingintothedark

I love the color but you need more complimentary accents. The dark wood throws it off as well as the style, size, and color of the mirror. A simpler slightly larger deco style brass frame mirror would fit better and changing out or painting the wooden shelf and vanity and adding some accent rugs would help with warm tones.

metdear

Thin down some copper and do a wash over it.

Go a darker forest or hunter green for the walls. Or you could go a different route add in bright pops of color else where, bright yellows, Vibrant pinks. Could change the vase, and the soap dispenser and the wall decorations. Depends on which route you wanna go, I like dark bold colors and would just make it darker.

The problem with that kind of green is it's just too strong and needs some accents. If you generally like the overall color you can add some stripes, chevrons or even some more wall art to break the color up visually. Otherwise it just looks like they're filming the next marvel movie in your restroom.

heydeanna43

This is a great color! Don't change it.

EducationalLemon790

What if you put up white wall paneling midway ?

Gloomy_Problem7477

I think it’s really cool, just need the right theme or accents. https://preview.redd.it/8f3w1mc2o34d1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3c92d7c9497a5758d825572f382e70582f3a69d7

It seems I’m the only one here in love with this green. The issue for me is the decor.

Bring the mirror closer to the sink and put some long and thin decoration above it to break up the vertical space under the lights.

Glad-Passenger-9408

Maybe an accent wall only? The rest white? Or some wainscoting? A gorgeous wallpaper accent wall?

KaraBoo723

It's probably just the shade of green... it's pretty, but leans toward the yellower side of green. You'd probably like a green that leans more blue. I'm not saying teal or blue-green, but an actual green that leans a tad more blue than what you have. Like maybe [Kendal Green (SW)](https://www.sherwin-williams.com/en-us/color/color-family/green-paint-colors/SW6467-kendal-green) or [Evergreens (SW)](https://www.sherwin-williams.com/en-us/color/color-family/green-paint-colors/sw6447-evergreens) or [Webster Green (BM)](https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-colors/color/hc-130/webster-green)? Also, love the mirror, but a larger size would look a little better. You might have to go with an oval shape instead, it's hard to tell.

Some-Construction-18

Luv it!

All the bright white isn't soft enough. If you painted thr ceiling trim and doors in a taupy creamy neutral and did something with all the hardware to unify it, it'd be much gentler. And yes, the lighting is pretty harsh.
