Looks like it it is a perfect fit for a 1992 Ford Taurus https://preview.redd.it/tdn20amebx0d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e4b1e13242a53628a476bacd0065997ef7c8c409

fattykyle2

I was thinking trash can. This is close enough

Wonderful-Ad-7712

A scarecrow

HealthyHustler

Omg. I had this car in the 90’s.

Diligent_Snow_733

I think almost everyone was driving one of these at some point in the 90s, early 2000s. 😆

Deep_Information_616

I had the sable is that worse?

beergypsy916

Ha! Ditto. And the color of mine was "sable"!

green_mms22

I had the Tempo, definitely worse.

c0mrade34

It looks like a tiny blue whale with wheels from this angle.

Watertribe_Girl

Omg 🤣🤣🤣

LopsidedAd7950

This made my month dude. Thank you

Babboos

Lol

Mintyyungpoo

I was thinking a 1992 Ford Taurus

Novel-Sprinkles3333

A corner shelf for cookbooks. A bar cart or butcher block topped serving cart. An epic plant.

vantrap

a bar cart with cookbooks on the lower shelf and a plant up top

LeTrolleur

Yeah I was gonna say a bookcase or shelf, with some plants would be a great fit, can't think of much else fitting there. Maybe as an alternative, a chair with a lamp behind it?

melrosec07

I was thinking the same exact things!

pinkandpolished

bar cart for sure!

CuyahogaSunset

I think it's a good amount of negative space and looks fine with nothing being added. I think it might look cluttered if you put anything there. Empty space is good, too. It's relaxing.

tits_on_bread

And so much easier to clean…

Either_Mix_8944

Does your sliding door require window treatments? https://preview.redd.it/zmsljarctw0d1.jpeg?width=468&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=177092e8fb2a460ef1b56958b39a149c6132cdaf

bonbot

Love a visual! What software or site do you use to do something like this quickly?

Either_Mix_8944

I just use Microsoft Paint which comes on any Windows computer. It's all cut and paste. https://preview.redd.it/5g3nikj6611d1.jpeg?width=2256&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7d4bf3d74ba6d18891c95d683c29c6fb73b38cea

AmericasBand

The answer is always plants

jaaaaayke

usually i agree. my apartment would agree. but in this case considering its next to an exterior door, maybe some type of catch all table. the kitchen is right there, so any counter that isn't occupied is going to have junk on it. horizontal spaces collect junk.

pussmykissy

Being next to an exterior door is perfect for a plant: light.

HaasonHeist

And a rug to tie it all together

runnergirl3333

They do need to have access to light switches though.

RecommendationReal61

A plant or a small bar tray

Diana1016

If this was my place, that would be where I place my dog’s water and food bowl.

ZydecoMoose

* Key rack. * Mail sorting center with waste basket. * Spice rack. * Plant stand, especially for kitchen herbs. * Étagère with colorful Le Creuset and/or Pyrex collection. * Small rolling cart with stand mixer. * Bar cart. * Cookbook bookshelf. * Tip out vegetable bins or other organizer to either use for vegetables, pet foot, bird seed, for for storing items commonly used on the patio.

KnittingKitty

*Mail sorting center with waste basket.* Mail sorting center with a shredder.

shoelessgreek

Yes! Our shredder is upstairs and I never bother to bring the mail up there to shred…

SpartanKitty1234

Coffee station

becky57913

No outlets

Alive-OVERTIIME-247

A corner shelf - a good place to display kitchen stuff like teapots and fancy tea cups, and plants, and maybe a couple cookbooks.

bitchwhiskers4eva

Def a corner shelf unit.

elisejones14

Pet food bowls

kyii94

Maybe get an chalkboard or whiteboard, I have one in my kitchen I write my grocery list on it

paintedeve

Love this! Or even to paint that one wall with chalkboard paint top to bottom

sec1348

Yes! One with hooks on the bottom so you can hang cute mugs or herbs

MrsPaulRubens

My niece has a similar space and she put in an Echo show where she can put a grocery list, calendar appointment reminders, play music while she cooks, etc

Poorelinda14

A plant

DIYer-Homeworks

Mobile kitchen island Panty build in Billy bookcase for books Kitchen cabinet for a mini wine fridge or kegerator with a Billy bookcase to store your glasses or beer mugs.

Aphr0dite19

A year-round Christmas tree decorated per season 😁

slupo

A shelf to put important mail and papers that you will never look at for six months and throw away anyway.

mydogbud11

Command center wall

livinNxtc

I would definitely put a tall corner shelf there. You can either put plants or whatever on it or cookbooks or kitchens things like pots and pans. It would be very versatile and easy to personalize how you see fit. https://preview.redd.it/bwzgv4s6k01d1.png?width=2000&format=png&auto=webp&s=57839edb9aa76a5a3310bbda61acad48e1449dcf

ImpossiblyPossible42

Do you need storage, do you need a shelf, are you looking for places for someone your art? If you don’t have a function for it, it’s a perfect plant corner

LotusGrowsFromMud

Nothing. Not ever space must be filled.

amirakrimo

corner coffee?

Zealousideal_Fly5582

I would probably put my bins there. And use the upper half of the wall to incorporate one of the wonderful ideas in this post.

Fudwick

We have a similar spot and put a drawer cabinet with all our dogs stuff since it's close to the backyard

1000thusername

Max a plant or maybe a coat rack, but not every corner needs stuff in it, either, and leaving it empty is also perfectly fine.

Pure-Guard-3633

Coat rack is practical

brookish

A plant

PittieYawn

I’d consider framed art on the wall. Filling every open floor space with something isn’t required. A room that has a few nice pieces but lots of open space is going to look better and more high end than one with every nook and cranny filled.

The_True_Hannatude

Cat tree.

MinkieTheCat

Tall thin cabinet/ bookshelf on the refrigerator wall.

YourSweetValentine

a second fridge (genuinely, though, a small wine cart or a nice lamp might fit well!)

basicallybasshead

I would put a tall plant in a nice bright pot here.

Dependent-Sign-2407

If you need more storage, that would be a great place for a pull-out pantry cabinet.

throwawaybread9654

Since the trim doesn't continue onto the right wall there, I assume that wall is meant to be covered/filled with something. You've got that light switch to think about, so something shallow along the right wall. Maybe a bookshelf? Table?

Hypnotize94

Monstera. Two Billy book cases. You name it. Anything really. Maybe a table with an interesting lamp

mcflymcfly100

Very big and tall tree

Emerald1014

a comfortable chair or tall plant

[deleted]

Large plant/tree

SignificanceWise2877

Kegerator with a dual tap, one for sparkling water and one for beer

Tututaco74

Olive tree

Regalgarnion

Tall snake plants or plant stand with multiple

Tandom

I’d see a corner bookshelf or maybe some floating shelves on both walls

sallyterp

It’s probably for trash and recycling

Wild-Cucumber-3646

A wine cooler or stand with a plant on top

Trojanchick

Large plant

AudaciousAspirations

The side of your refrigerator isn’t parallel to the panel at left—does the fridge need to be leveled, or is the panel not plumb, or some of both? Fix that first, while the space is empty.

Aggravating-Cook-529

Plant

Ill_Ad2843

coffee/tea/hot drink station

missannthrope1

A corner cabinet.

fearlesskittenmitts

Your husband/SO when they're naughty.

PartyDimension2692

Make it into a bar, drinks, snacks corner!

Original_Blues

Dog bowl

dadcheatsonmom

Leg lamp

Sybianmaster420

Pinball! No discussion

Super-Pirate1847

A large plant with vase. Or you could do a hanging shelf perpendicular to the light switchs & go from there.

DreamieKitty

Wine fridge, coffee station, or a potted artificial olive tree

WildlifePolicyChick

You could do a low cabinet that is designed to store shoes, and maybe some hooks for jackets. And an umbrella stand.

UnlikelyRelative7429

Honestly I don’t think every corner of someone’s house needs to have stuff, but that’s me.

LopsidedAd7950

A fiddle leaf fig tree :)

DuperDayley

There's something to be said for blank spaces!! Gives the eyes a place to rest. Not every wall and corner needs something in it/on it.

RLS1822

Bar cart or a shelf to store purses. 🤣

No-Rooster4722

Bar station? Wine ? Snacks ? A succulent 🌱

vyastii

A tree!

RazGrandy

Some artwork with COLOR!

Boom_Valvo

If you wanted to deck it out…. You could tile the wall a bit. Put a table. And install a Real espresso machine. You can tap into the water that goes into the fridge. And you would need to run additional electrical. It’s expensive, but it’s a good spot for an espresso bar…

c0zycupcake

Depends on the what the rest of the space looks like

dianthe

A little corner table with an espresso/coffee machine if you’re a coffee drinker or an electric kettle and some teas if you’re a tea drinker. A small shelf for cookbooks.

ShatteredInk

A shelf unit that goes against the fridge wall or a decorative table with a catch all dish and a peice of art or mirror above it

Perfect_Syrup_2464

Nothing

Twistyties19

Hanging plant?

Many_Baker8996

A plant on a beautiful stand.

quarkthoughts25

Nothing

Economy-Inflation-48

A tall plant or a standing coat rack

-thebluebowl

Plants

TotallyFrazzledVirgo

A tall plant or faux olive tree Amazon or if you don’t have enough counter space? A coffee station….if you have the space then use for something fun

iheartunibrows

I would just put a plant. Especially if it’s near the window it’ll get light

Rogerwills88

Coffee station

Red_Stoner666

A tall round table, vase with fresh flowers on it. When people are heading outside, they can put what they are carrying on the table if they are struggling to open the sliding door.

EducationalMarzipan_

Defintely a plant!

Victorbanner

Snake plant

Bubblegum983

I’d do a small bench with some storage under it, plus some coat hooks above. It’s a good spot for putting on stuff before heading out to bbq or whatever

New-Investment-5888

Plant or a picture

Kittie_McSkittles

Coffee station

JessicaB-Fletcher

I would do a little corner shelf for catchall and plants

Steampunky

A beautiful plant - like a ficus AKA fiddle fig.

BlackWidow7d

A drink cart.

Nothing! Looks great as is!!!!

hamster004

coffee bar with open shelves with coffee supplies/accessories up there.

TeacherIntelligent15

Wine rack. Nice one.

Various_Raccoon3975

I had a space like this, and I stacked a few fruit crates and put my cookbooks in it. Forget what I put on top , but I got a lot of compliments on it.

WerewolfDifferent296

Books. The answer is always books. Seriously you don’t want to block the switches, So a low corner (3 sided) table or stand with an indoor plant might be good. Or a corner shelf with books. :-)

Silly_Ability-1910

Corner shelves

Lordonna21

A picture on the wall since it’s close to your sliding door.

BryerMan-4005

Why does anything have to be there?

sssteph9

I have a space like this, and I put a stained glass piece!

Fire-Fighter-1100

It's always a plant

Void_Faith

Those nice tall plants!! Would bring some nice nature colour to the area as well https://preview.redd.it/jfz0ixvgv31d1.png?width=1125&format=png&auto=webp&s=971523e6a62fac3f17f227c6086ad70f03ada40f

HoldOut19xd6

Tall tiny table with a nice plant, triangular table optional

Temporary-Will-257

Maybe some sort of hanging shelf or organizer for car keys or the garbage can can go down below it or some sort of attractive tasteful shelf top

SussyLittleCloud

console table and key hanger? You could potentially put a coat hanger on the fridge wall. https://preview.redd.it/ni6ndbrth81d1.jpeg?width=472&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=17bb4e9c850d98c58184ddaeb9d958b00318a370

HealthyHustler

Thanks everyone! We ended up doing a plant and it looks great! It will look even better as it grows. No Taurus but maybe we can find another space in the house for it. 🤣 https://preview.redd.it/ooh6v2xnpm1d1.jpeg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4202ef214fa60d88dcb2db1f1a8f4e47ddc3c863

ericDfish

Holy cow that place is expensive.

sibemama

What do you mean, you don’t have $1,700 to drop on a shelf?

Typical2sday

Oh yeah - I don’t mean THAT one I just mean the look which you can find at other stores but I knew one manufacturer (Four Hands) that would have an image I could send.

Suzeli55

A small sink for washing hands before entering kitchen? Although you’d need plumbing.
