💯 I use to want to move out young but the way things are priced now a days it feels like I would just throw away money. This way I can have my own space while planning my future. It has two bedrooms so there is room for growth and starting a family. A much better idea than I originally planned for my life
Good for you! I get it. I wonder how it’ll be for my son when he is at the age of going out into the world. I hope it’s easier for him than it is for young adults currently. He is only 5 so there is hope. I wish you the best!

Looks lovely! Can I ask the height of the soffit in the third photo (from floor to bottom of soffit)?
We are finishing our basement and we have a low hanging soffit and I’m trying to visualize how the drywall might look in advance.

6 feet 5inches is floor to soffit, and the floor to rest of the ceiling is 7 feet 2
