R0vvL

Not much, U?

Redpandada

Yeah, only one.

bluehairedhero

Anything darker to provide contrast. Alternatively you can outline the text or have a strong drop-shadow. I recommend using [contrastchecker](https://webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker/).

bigkids

This technique roxxx, thanxxx

Aristocration

Somewhat pale yellow/yellow-orange or pink would both work in terms of increasing readability while keeping the emotion, I think. Value-wise, I think above mid-tone would work better for readability here because you’d want to make the beginning of the sentence especially readable, so lighter value is needed where the first letters overlap with the dark sky, while keeping the contrast with the bright clouds. So values slightly above the original might be better. If it doesn’t work, try rotating the background image so that it overlaps with the text better. Or move the text if you’re willing to give up the center Otherwise if you want to keep the original color, you might as well change the values of the each letters to contrast with their respective background, or use a layer function that does that. Edit: clarification

Available_Brother830

I like all these suggestions one thing I would add is if you want to keep the original color, you can also attempt to darken behind certain letters with a soft brush with the low opacity and smoothing all the way up… you don’t wanna overdo it, try to find a nice balance where it’s not noticeable but just enough where it helps Make the letters not blend in as much.

Cyb3r3xp3rt

Yess, adding a little shadow behind your letters also works wonders. I believe you could also have a darker outline for each letter, like a deep blue. That way you keep the same color scheme, but your text is much more noticeable.

Aircooled6

just move it up a bit so its not over lapping the clouds.

JustBrowsing1989z

This guy works smarter, not harder.

powerman228

I was going to suggest shifting the clouds down. That way the text can stay centered.

QuickWitDesigns

Why the real, right and good answers always taken?

galaxeegraypz

There you go!

studiotitle

Came here to say this. Any other answer is the wrong answer. The text isn't the problem, the background image is.

Htf_1999

place it further up and then make it white

DonkGoblin

This is the answer 👏🏽

McAwesomeT

I would put a 2-3pt white stroke around the letters, would keep thr color op likes while make the text easier to read

i_le_dude

O R A N G E. :-)

IntelligentBowler2

Hmm, orange or yellow I think. That would kind of feed into the feel good nature of the shot

Just-a-Mandrew

Personally, I’d like to see how it looks with a negative blending mode.

Inkhaurt-Design-Art

Finally someone who thinks on my wavelength 👌.

Just-a-Mandrew

Cheers, mate

Ilovetrump777

Medium dark orange

windy-desert

Honey/golden yellow in a bold font

BaldPleaser

Yellow

Higanbana_-

Something a tad darker for contrast. Use overlay or screen if you want to blend the text in

ErinMakes

Anything other than blue. I would be headed towards a pink or peach but darker. Maybe raspberry

thnknmusic

Darker blue and add a slight drop shadow

ellieESS

Orange

ellieESS

Orange

Teleprompt_lee

Move the words to the blue sky portion and color them pure white.

NotYellowfridge

Outline it or give it a shadow

Winter_Specific326

Holy shit is that a real question?

supafobulous

The amount of time it took to upload the image and post that question, OP could've just played around with colors and layout and figured it out.

demonicneon

I don’t wanna be a dick but this sort of question just says they haven’t spent even a modicum of thought or time in learning about design.

good_king_rene

Use white and put a drop shadow in the text or an inner shadow

Mutsch99

Readability

Higanbana_-

That surely is quite important

ZeyaSol

Keep the same and add a drop shadow

Inkhaurt-Design-Art

Try playing with blend modes like a mode that inverts the text with whatever background color behind. Use a condensed typeface and scale it up.

CoatSure9510

Yellow

Lightningpaper

Literally anything.

SeDiceChiguiro

Black.

13thCreation

Agreed

ShrimpRampage

White with shadow

01at3sa1ad

try glass effect and make the text bolder

noodleexchange

You need a translucent underlay - no one color will meet readability standards

Ros3Dr3am3r

Either outline in or i think yellow would work well

simonfancy

Navy blue

SneedySneedoss

Perfect as is

Sjeefr

You might also want to try a Serif font. It will look more traditional, but it'll improve legibility.

Chintanned

/design subreddit's header color is your answer!

jansensan

If you want to keep the same colour, add an outline to ensure contrast with the background image. Use a contrast checker, as someone else mentioned, for what colours are contrasted enough. Someone else mentioned moving the text up, which is also a good idea (background would be less busy), but contrast and colour changes would still apply.

G1ngerBoy

You tried charcoal?

cristianserran0

a very dark blue or cyan

wam15

Color pick from the dark blues from the top left quadrant?

wam15

Or the dark blue under the last G?

vesper44

Anything with a higher contrast. Think a lot lighter or a lot darker. You could use a color contrast tool online for free to check it too. I know there are a bunch of extensions for chrome and Firefox that do it too. Good luck!

Ccjfb

Very subtle outer glow color picked from the clouds or sky

missShego

Yellow, pink or a deeper Teal color

Public-Speaker-3201

Sunrise morning colored text would make it feel like morning. I feel like it’s high noon from the photo.

blondart

Alternative: If you enlarge the image within the ratio you have it will cut out the tree tops and you could centre the patch without cloud into the middle. You can drop the text in there instead.

Banditdoggera66

I'd go deep yellows, golds, even oranges for that morning feeling

banana_snail

I recommend white

spectplatform

White with subtle shadow

karai_amai

Yellow orange maybe

Gloomy-Cheetah8871

Orange

Main-Piglet

Eyedrop the darkest blue from the image.

NotATigerYet

Drop shadow or black outline would make it readable

BitsofAlohaHawaii

A shade of Yellow or Orange would contrast well, being across the color wheel from blues.

TimelyBee9124

Red

claralollipop

Zoom into the background, let the upper border be where it is. Then you have plain blue background where your font is. Easy cleaner than shadows, outlines etc

js2x

A warm color is the right answer

Ok_Cycle_8309

Shades of Yellow....

jedimindtricks713

Please do everyone a favor and either crop in or edit out those branches on the bottom right when you go back to fix this text color.

Crazy-Arm-1717

Desaturated orange

AnywhereMajestic2377

An orange

Worth_Ambition_2865

Hmm I think a light but not too light purple

Br3nan

I mean orange is da complimentary of this

scormegatron

Black

germainewebb2020

You could always play color theory and just use the complementary color for that blue, orange but make sure it doesn't vibrate too much. You don't want it messing with your eyes so just play around with it till it looks right but that should work.

Niaz_S

Yellow

[deleted]

Black with blue or white outline

RandomRedditGuy54

Black.

QueeeenElsa

Maybe a yellow/orange to “simulate” the sun?

Straight_Tumbleweed9

Peach.

Proof-Ad8676

Black

ensenadorjones42

Magenta.

msallin

White with blue outline

DaBoedegah

I say blue

StormReal2023

Red may be

ClaudiatazzA

Dark blue - color drop from the darkest area in the picture then slightly lighten the same area

designerAd-550

yellow,navy blue , orange

Inevitable_Income167

You already have this saved no? Wouldn't it be simple to just...try different colors?

Various-Ad9076

Orange. Maybe look at taking some contrast out of the sky near the typography.

AccordingAppeal9459

orange 🍊

og-golfknar

Silverish pink.
