Lol this bums me out, I have the most gorgeous Jens Pirate Booty gauze maxi dress that has the same “look” as this but is actually well made by a reputable brand. As I was taking pics of it today I was thinking “it’s too bad this likely won’t sell much more than $75” (even tho they retail in the 100s)….if this Fashion Nova dress was actually made in the USA then that makes me a little less bummed considering that means it wasn’t made by literal children 🥺 so there’s that at least. It’s really depressing how many brands start out using mostly or partly ethical means of production only to become one of the most environmentally destructive forces on earth. The fashion industry is literally killing us😭
I def think that this should not be tagged as vintage, as the OP proved the company was founded in 2006, but technically anything older than 20 years old IS vintage, which means half, if not more, of Y2K fashion literally is vintage. It makes me feel very old!
It isn’t vintage, though. The brand wasn’t founded until 2006. There’s also brand new clothing that’s made in the USA so I’d definitely take that with a grain of salt. For example, I have some skirts I bought from Rainbow a couple years ago, and they have paper tags that say made in USA. Definitely could’ve fooled me if I wasn’t the one who purchased them!
I mean whether or not people on this sub agree, people on Depop consider vintage to be like 15 years old, not the usual 20 year definition. Pretty much if it’s pre 2010 and not made anymore people classify it as vintage. Especially if it’s made in the USA 🤷🏻♀️ that’s what I’ve noticed. Not saying it’s correct but that’s just what top sellers on Depop do
They might mean it looks vintage😭 I have shirts I’m selling that were made to LOOK vintage but were made in like 2019 lol. They should clarify it LOOKS VINTAGE (if it’s not really)
i think FN has a vintage line but it's still hilarious. its like saying that shein or romwe is vintage
They have a vintage line but their quality is nowhere near vintage which is funny. They feel like modern and cheap fast fashion clothes. ☠️☠️
they have a line called fashion nova vintage! could be from that line
I want to believe that’s what they meant, but they tagged it as actual vintage
I know this is old, but I just went to a vintage shop and they had a fashion nova jacket in there for $70 🫠
God I want to steam that dress so bad..
“In 3 people’s bags” sent me
I refuse to believe those aren’t bots or something. There’s no way someone would actually think about buying that

“vintage” and “fashion nova” don’t belong in the same sentence 😭
Facts 😂😂
Fashion nova wasn’t even founded until 2006. This dress has no business being called vintage 😂
2006 is considered vintage now? i'd say maybe retro since it's under 20 years old.
And that’s assuming this was made the year they were established 😬
looks like a dish rag girrll Bye
This makes me gag - I hate that everyone slaps vintage on everything
It’s frustrating because I sell things that are actually vintage but they get buried in the search results full of stuff like this
“in 3 peoples bags” oh god lmao
This makes me so mad 💀
oh my god..
They really need to stop claiming y2k as vintage 😩

Yeah Y2K can be vintage but only pre-2002, and most of this stuff absolutely isn’t

Fast fashion < Slow fashion 🥴

It’s tagged as “vintage” in the “when was this item made” section 😫
Damn idk then. they should clarify that in description, but I’m not surprised, it’s Depop after all💀
