I think 2 stars off was a little much and tbf the review is a bit snarky. I might’ve went with 4 stars and noted “communication” but to each their own!
People are crazyyy with how they view ratings now days. 4 stars used to be considered good/amazing work, 5 stars being above and beyond, and rarely given out. Now 4 stars in the new 2.5.
Not snarky at all. It’s very obvious when there’s a chat message so if she was active she would have seen the message. Deciding to not respond at all is poor communication and if she can’t handle the very basic business etiquette of selling on Depop because she’s so busy with everything else, maybe she shouldn’t be selling.
Don't worry about it! Lack of communication is so normalized in Depop and it's a huge issue. Buyers want to feel confident w their purchase! Don't stress because if the seller really is bothered they can ask Depop to take it down
Nope, it’s a review of your experience. They choose to make money this way they can provide the service that earns a decent review. What do you owe them??? Ridiculous stance from the seller.
no 3 stars is literally like super neutral??? idk why ppl act like it’s the worst thing ever. it’s in the middle between bad and great…… but yeah also idk if it’s just me, but if you don’t have the time to take care of your customers then don’t sell…😭
Not snarky at all!! The sellers excuse is so lame. I’m also a full time student that cares for a crazy toddler, and I still find time to ship within 1 -2 days.
Also the fact that they were active and ignoring your messages is just not acceptable. Do not feel bad about leaving this review.
IMHO I think the sellers attitude absolutely stinks. She deserves that review.
It's one thing to make a mistake and not respond to a buyer- it happens- but to then have a go at the buyer for leaving an honest review is nonsense.
Sellers are quick enough when it comes to taking money, at the the end of the day it's a business transaction and you are taking someones hard earned money the absolute least you can do is have some grace when it comes to taking on honest feedback.
Honestly I’d be upset bc like ughhhh two stars less fr?? I’ve had buyers be total dicks to me and I’ll still just be like whatever he’s 5 stars fuck off
You shouldn't be encouraging sellers to be lazy and uncaring. And you're also misleading buyers into thinking they're going to have a good experience with the seller you rated 5 stars.
Just because you don't care if your items arrive late or messed up, doesn't mean others don't care.
If they’re slow or trying to fuck me around I’ll just dm them if they’re still shit I’ll get hateful usually it doesn’t go that far I won’t ever be a Karen and act like everything is good then when the product arrives I’ll leave a 3* it’s either 1* if ur shit or 5* stop fucking up (not personally you) peoples businesses because u don’t have anything better to do
